Spicy Margarita

How lucky are we to have a beautiful Mexican restaurant in Bay Shore?! This was my first time at Pecado and I was a very happy camper. It's actually very hard to find good Mexican on the East Coast but Pecado has really mastered it, at least the items I had. The real stars were the street corn, ceviche and the coconut tres leches cake. Although the corn was pricey, it was super delicious with just the right amount of heat. The ceviche was perfectly seasoned and balanced with that lovely punch of lime and again, the right amount of heat (for me). The space is lovely with beautiful pendant lighting. It's obvious that Pecado took a lot of care to create a beautiful space to gather and share great food and drinks. Oh, and the drinks are so pretty. The sangria was strong but in the best way. I recommend and would absolutely come back again.

Nice place. Good food and good service. A little pricey. They were busy but no wait. We had reservations just to be sure. My daughter didn't eat the yuca because it was too hard.

I had gone to Pecado a while back at a Yelp event and marked it for future visits. The future arrived when we were in town for a st Patrick's Day parade. Brunch there was the perfect venue waiting for parade 6bdgin Her salD6wS a automatic five star when they included watermelon radish. My fundidido was a perfect blend of chorizo a d mucho cheese.A perfect afternoon treat.

Henry gave nothing but great service went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. He made the best passionfruit margaritas ever. And the ambience was amazing. The nachos and Beria tacos were so delicious!!!!

Ceviche Verde

We wanted to bar hop around Bay Shore tonight and make one of the stops Pecado. Their website shows 10pm closing time. We arrived at 8:45pm and were told they were closing shortly. We ordered two dishes and two drinks. Shortly after we sat at the bar, we watched them turn down 4 other groups of people looking to sit for dinner. If their closing time is 9pm, they should update their website. We have been to this restaurant before and enjoy their food. The ceviche verde was excellent and their polo en mole was flavorful, but we had to ask for water and tortilla chips (which we have always been given when sitting at the bar or table) and we felt like we did something wrong showing up at 8:45pm. Unfortunate experience tonight.

We came for dinner one evening and attempted to sit at the bar but the bar was pretty small and not able to accommodate everyone who wanted to sit. The rest of the restaurant at that time was completely empty but the happy hour was only at the bar. We ended up going to a happy hour at a nearby restaurant until our reservation was ready. When we finally came back for dinner, we were seated really quickly. This time the restaurant had more people. The tables are pretty small but the decor is nice. We started with the guac and chip. We were surprised how fast it came to the table. It came as soon as the waitress left the table, leading me to think it's not freshly made. However, it did take good. I had the steak quesadilla which was nicely cooked. I wish it came with sour cream and maybe a little pico de gallo. The hubs has shrimp tacos which he seemed to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant had a nice vibe and I would be willing to return.

Churrasco x Plantains

Great service and ambiance but the food left much to be desired. Highlight of the night was the queso and churro sandwich. I ordered the churrasco and although cooked well, tasted like char! The sweet plantains weren't ripe enough and the churro should have been warmed. The rest of the table ordered tacos and they seemed pleased, but not wowed.

My husband and I visit pecado often for brunch they never disappoint. Food is always amazing. Service is impeccable. Ambiance is beautiful. You can dress casual. Perfect for brunch with friends or an afternoon date.

Tres leche French toast and chorizo hash

We went to Pecado Mexican on a Saturday in August for brunch. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and is quite spacious, with an outdoor terrace in the back where we sat. The fans made it comfortable, but on a hotter day, it might have been too warm. The food was decent but underwhelming. We tried the chorizo hash and the tres leches French toast. While the flavors were okay, they didn't stand out, and the French toast bread was stale. As for drinks, we ordered the Paloma and the Firing Squad, but both were watered down and disappointing. Service was neutral...not particularly attentive or memorable. Overall, I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend this spot.

When you walk in you see a large clementine inspired painting and a long bar which is the focal point of this compact restaurant . There is limited seating so you should definitely make a reservation . Our server was so friendly and polite .He continually checked in at our table to see if we needed anything .Thank you ! The menu is unique , offering a lot of creative dishes . We started with some cocktails, although the Clementine Cocktail is the signature drink I opted for the Quilty Pleasure , it was excellent made with tequila, coconut cream and strawberry .Yum! We then shared several appetizers starting with the mussel special served with warm soft bread for dipping .There was more than enough for the four of us to share . The mussels were delicious and perfectly cooked in the most delicate, flavorful light sauce . We also tried the mushroom arancini and mushroom strudel , both amazing and tasty. I ordered the Sliced Steak Sandwich which was served with fries and a small salad. It was quite a large portion , too much for one person to eat , definitely shareable ! The steak was seasoned perfectly and so tender. The red onion jam was the perfect complimented to this sandwich! The fries were very thin , tasty and crisp but on the salty side . Everyone enjoyed their dinners! Although I do feel the menu is a bit on the pricy side the food as well as the service was outstanding . I would definitely recommend stopping in and checking out this restaurant for yourself!

That bartender should also wash his shirt. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, however when you're not greeted in a timely manner, sitting at a bar that was not full and chatting with four other people and laughing and treating us with absolutely zero consideration when there are so many other wonderful restaurants in the Bayshore area it's sad to give a bad review.

The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. What unfortunately has left a lasting impression and may be the reason I don't go back is they're okay, and likely encourage (based on their IG) content creators to visit. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them. I hope in the future the staff, and the owner (who was there), are more conscious of the dining experience for others.
