It was a setting and ambiance. All the waiters and waitresses were helpful and respectful. The music was a little too loud but it wasn't totally disruptive. The food was excellent. The salsa that came with the chips had the right amount of heat which I loved. The guacamole was excellent too, looking forward to trying the spicy guacamole next time. Do not go to Pecado unless you want a rushed experience and bad customer service. My 3rd time visiting Pecado and had previously reccomended it to scores of people however had two very off experiences with the Owner/Manager, Ian Coughlin (also owns Mesito in RVC). The first was when I made a business recommendation on the second visit and was laughed at and told 'this isn't Chili's". The second was when after eating and drinking for just under two hours was told upon ordering dessert that we had to take it to go because Open Table analytics said we were at our table for too long. Keep in mind we had over a $300 bill and would have been done within 15 minutes had dessert been served. Very very poor management skills. You can't fault the diner for waiting 40 minutes for their first round of drinks and then ostracize them when they want to continue supporting your business by ordering more food and drinks. Needs a good lesson on front of the house management. read more

Came here with some friends from work and we sat at the bar. Some people got tacos which they thought were a little dry. I got an enchilada and it was smothered in goodness. The drinks were great, staff was friendly, and the bartender was super attentive. The front of the resultant is able to be completely opened up to the street and it felt so nice having that outdoor vibe while we were inside. it's just a no for me. we came here on Mother's day our waitress messed up on a few things. The service was completely slow and it was NOT busy at all so that wasn't even an excuse. They brought our drinks out and forgot my father in law and blamed it on the bar is backed up yet we all had our drinks at the same time except his. They were just rude. Happened to eat here because we parked outside and were drawn to the bar area open to the sidewalk. We were looking for dinner and they served dinner, so we went inside. From the free chips to the shrimp ceviche to our meals to our drinks, everything was scrumptious. I would like to train under the chef who made the carne asada. We are taking home everything we couldn't finish and can't wait to return. The service was also exceptional and engaging. People seem to enjoy working here as much as we enjoy being here. read more

Service was a major disappointment. Waited at the bar 15 minutes, finally able to order my one cocktail. After I ordered the male bartender proceeded to serve everyone else around me and take his sweet time cleaning shakers as I was still waiting. Well when we arrived we were told by the bartender that orders was being take on the otherside of the bar. We go there and we waited and waited and finally someone helped. Overly crowded. They really needed 3 bartenders. Anyway after giving my name and waiting half an hour I was told they couldn't accommodate us (6). So we left looking for another place to go. Could have been the worse bar service ever. Just wanted to order a drink and some apps. Sat at the bar and waited for the bartender right in front of. E to take my order. However he just kept making drinks for the tables in the back. After it was three deep waiting at the bar he informed people they needed to go to the other side of the bar if they wanted to get a drink. I have never been to a bar where you had a bar seat and couldn't get a drink. After waiting a 1/2 hour we walked out and went to another bar.
