I have had 2 annual check-ups with Dr. Mueller and both have been great. She listens to your concerns and addresses what you need. Her exams are thorough yet fast - making for a more convenient and enjoyable experience. The rest of the staff is great as well. Maryann is accommodating with the entrance exams and Thalia is helpful with the fittings and closing process. I have been to a few different eye care locations in the past 5 years but I will keep going to see Dr Mueller at Pearle Vision. read more

I ordered my glasses 9 weeks ago and I am still waiting on them. I was denied a refund after spending around 640.00. I would not recommend Pearle Vision on Howell in Oak Creek, WI for your eye care. There are plenty of other vision centers to choose from. read more

I had an eye exam and ordered new lenses on 11/14/2022. The lenses were to be in in 3-4 weeks. On 12/9 I call and was told they had "broke" but they were reordering them. The week of Christmas I was told they had come in. When I tried them on the prescription was wrong, which the manager agreed it had been wrongly inputted and they would have to be ordered again. Today, 1/11/2023 they still do not have my lenses and I have asked to have my order canceled and take my prescription elsewhere to be completed. They refused stating they have a no return policy. They also said I would have my lenses by now and I don't. The eye doctor was good however. read more

The doctor had one of the worst bedside manners I've ever seen! She flat out told me that I was gonna go blind, and there was nothing anyone could do for me. I'm sitting there semi freaking out, and she's just like whatever, not my problem. I went and got a second opinion, the other doctor said that she was just full of it, and gave me a laundry list of options. I can remember her name, but if you get her, just run! I stupidly decided to still get glasses there, I then got a lady who very loudly kept arguing with me that I needed bifocals, even though I kept telling her that I didn't want them. So then kept telling me that I had trouble reading, (I dont). Then she oer charged me! And I mean over charged me by a lot! I am never stepping foot in that place ever agai!! read more

After ordering 2 very expensive prescription glasses from eyeconic and looking up providers that do free fitting and adjustments, I called Pearle. The lady on the phone was unaware of any such "free" service and was completely rude. I finally told her that I would pay and go elsewhere. read more

I love the optician/doctor at this Pearle vision location. She is so knowledgeable and they have the latest equipment. Their staff is knowledgeable. My complaint with this location is this: I do not like their policy that you cannot just walk in to pick up glasses that have come in or just to browse for new frames. You have to make an appointment for everything! This often causes you to have to wait a week or more because they don't have any appointments sooner. How is this good customer service? You also cannot just walk in, even though you're wearing a mask and have an appointment. You have to call a number first and wait for them to tell you to come in even though the door is not locked. I think this is just stupid. read more

I believe it is certainly up to each business to decide how to run, but for those that this matters they are still requiring masks to be in the store and also appointments just to look at frames. I really had a great experience with this branch. My first time at a Pearle Vision was in Chicago. The attendant/associate of theirs was nothing alike with the amazing ladies that helped me through out the entire visit here at the Oak Creek location. I had helped by Jemina and she's so amazing. Very friendly and very accommodating. I showed her the type of frame i would like to wear and she brought me tons to choose from. We have selected frame and was able to narrow it down to the best that i would love to wear and of course the fit was adjusted to my liking too. Dr. Mueller was also helpful, and gave me tips for how to take good care of my eyes better and insights of why my eyes are dry, also suggested couple tear drops that would help my eyes better and especially i have allergy from pollen and all that she gave me pataday coupon that I'll be able to use in the future when i ran out of what i have now. Overall experience was great and i had fun interacting with Jemina. Excellent customer service. read more

I recommend them to everyone who is due for an eye exam, and needs new glasses or contacts. Pearl Vision's service is wonderful across the board. I called on a Monday morning and was able to schedule a same-day appointment! When I arrived, the staff took me in to start my eye tests early, and Dr. Mueller made sure that every question I had about my eyes was answered. Pearle Vision in incompetent. I ordered a size 54 frame and they had my glasses made up in size 53 but management will not admit it (after one of the clerks verified that the order was made up wrong). The original order cannot be found, they say. Now I am out my vision plan's benefit. Can this store be that desperate for $400? read more

Worst experience! I've been going to Pearle Vision for the last 4-5 years but I will NEVER go back. It all started a few months ago when I reordered contacts. After 2 months of the contacts I noticed my vision was not clear so I made a follow up appointment and found out that Pearle Vision sent me the WRONG prescription! So the Doctor acted like it was no big deal. She said oh your prescription changed lets try something else. To make a long story short after 4 months of go back and forth to see the Doctor this last time I said I just want my old prescription back. She got very rude with me! Than when I went out to exchange my contacts the office workers informed me that I could NOT exchange but I had to buy NEW contacts! Really in 4 months I spent over $400 on contacts plus my time and you want more money! NEVER again! read more

To be completely honest I hate going to the eye doctor (to me it's one of those things that just constantly makes me think about how I could be doing something else while I'm there), but this location is quite nice. This was my 2nd time going to Pearle Vision in Oak Creek. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Maryann did all my tests before seeing Dr. Mueller and she was so quick. The 2nd time in was so much faster. Dr. Mueller is great. She's so helpful with questions and making sure the prescription is correct. My axis changed a little this time and she wanted to make sure the new contacts were ok before I left. She wants to cover all options. Thalia was so helpful with me and picking out new frames. I hated my old ones and she was awesome. It was the fastest I've ever picked out frames. We had a few styles and colors and finally narrowed it down. Went to Pearle Vision, got new lenses for my readers and a pair of prescription Oakley's. Worked with a girl named Diana, who was very friendly & knowledgeable, oh and she was very patient with me asking a lot of dumb questions. In fact my wife and 2 daughters all went in the same week for glasses and contacts, and the doctors were great! We'll all be back next year for our yearly exams, I Highly recommend this location! read more

Dr mueller was awesome I would give her a 5 star rating as well as Liz who was helpful to me and very kind, but the service I received there was terrible from the manager and customer service representatives. I had 3 remakes of my lenses and unfortunately they were worse each remake couldn't see out of them at all-blurry. I ended up having to go through the BBB and my insurance company to get a pair of glasses I could see out of. Found out that the pupillary distance was the problem it wasn't me being a pill or fussy, the distance was over 70 mine was under 60 so unless I was a chameleon in a former life they were never going to work. I realize my experiance is not the norm and that accidents and mistakes are made from time to time but it felt like to me that the company and manager didn't want to admit there was a problem or that they made a mistake. I think that when a customer files a complaint it doesn't mean its personal but that there might be a valid problem there and you should listen or take that experiance as a learning moment so the next customer doesn't have this same issue or concern. Would I recommend or go back to Pearle Vision definitely not so buyer be aware. read more

I went in for the sole purpose of obtaining a refill on my contact lenses. Since it's apparently not possible to do that without an eye exam, I underwent the exam. Prior to the exam, the manager saw me reading something with reading glasses, so she told the doctor that I wanted to have an exam that would make it possible for me to wear bifocal contacts (something I did not even want, but did not challenge since I didn't think it would make any difference if I ultimately didn't like the bifocal lenses). The bifocal lenses were uncomfortable, and after trying them on, I told the doctor I wanted to stick to my normal lenses. When I got home and looked over the bill, I learned that I had been charged $59 for the eye exam, and an additional $89 for fitting of the lenses. No one EVER mentioned that I would be charged an extra fee to be fitted for bifocal contacts, and I NEVER would have agreed to start the fitting process if I had known there was a surcharge. Not to mention that the charge applied even though I declined to purchase the bifocal lenses. I returned to the store the next day and explained to the receptionist that I never would have agreed to the additional procedure if I had known there was a surcharge, and she said it was not a problem, and they should be able to issue a refund for the cost of the bifocal fitting. She said she needed to check with the manager to see how the refund should be processed. When the manager came out (the same one who had informed the doctor the previous day that I wanted to be fitted for bifocal lenses), she said it was not possible to give any refund, because the procedure had already been performed. When I explained that I never would have agreed to try out the bifocals if I had known there would be an extra charge, she insisted there was nothing they could do. My husband complained about the fact that the extra charge was not communicated in advance (or at any time during the appointment, for that matter), and the manager was unapologetic and continued to insist there was nothing they could do. She said there would have been a $49 fitting charge even without the bifocal aspect, but was not willing to refund even the $40 extra that had been charged for the bifocal exam. I will NEVER deal with Pearle Vision again, especially after hearing how much cheaper the exams are at other locations. My experience at Pearle Vision Oak Creek left me feeling like I had been fleeced by a sleazy used car dealer. read more
