Such a fun and perfect day to be walking around Drexel Town Square ! We were for there for a car show. It was fun, plenty of neat cars to check out. One thing I love about going to events at Drexel Town Square is that there is a real bathroom available. There were great food trucks and some of the surrounding businesses were open. We also spent some time talking with one of the coolest guy's ever!! I literally had to drag myself away because we were monopolizing his time. Upon leaving I wanted to run back and say goodbye to him. (I have a heart that has a mind that can make a new best friend from a single conversation). All things said, it was a great Sunday afternoon! read more

Drexel town square always seems to have something going on! If you live or work in the area, then you know summertime at Drexel square is filled with squeals of joy coming from the splash pad and wintertime has twinkling lights galore. It's always beautifully decorated no matter when you visit and plenty of signage to keep you informed of seasonal events. The Oak Creek farmers market is held at Drexel square every Saturday from 9am-1pm in the summer and one I've been to a couple of times. This farmers market has a variety of flowers, fruits, vegetables, honey, cheeses, meats but also a number of local artisans selling their creations. Something for everyone, from jewelry and lotions to soups and jerkies. There was even a live band playing! We opted for a yummy cold brew before picking up some cheese, meat and veggies to fill the free oak creek farmers market bag we received along the way as we walked past the vendor tents. The area was clean, people were friendly and everyone seemed to be enjoying the lovely day at the Oak Creek farmers market. It's worth stopping by to see what local farmers and artisans have for you! read more

My husband and I randomly wound up at the Drexel Town Square one evening in search for a margarita. The green space in the middle is lovely, with benches along the side and pathways that cut through the space. Shops and restaurants occupy most of the ground floor space; luxury apartments are, of course, located above most of the shops. The gorgeous Oak Creek Public Library is located on the south end and there is a there is a grocery shop, pet store, dentist, bank, and more food options adjacent to the Square. Several of the storefronts were unoccupied, likely due to the aftermath that was 2020. It is definitely worth checking out when the weather is nice and you are looking for something new to experience. Come hungry, most of the restaurants have outdoor seating and it would be a great place to enjoy the warm sunshine :) read more

I don't live here or anything but do really love the space. It's our go-to location for family dinners. I've never had a problem finding parking and there's lots of restaurant variety to choose from. Most have a south or southwestern facing patio, so its always very sunny here. The actual grassy square with its benches and meandering paths is a nice respite from the usual sea of concrete. They hosted cubanfest here this year, and as I understand it have a farmers market every Saturday in summer. Definitely check it out when in the area read more

I'm really loving the updates and all the new shops are popping up fast. I wish this development had happened years ago before I moved! Right now it's s bit of a maze because of all the construction going on, but if you're brave it's worth the effort driving out for lunch, dinner or just a nice walk. The new city hall and library buildings are gorgeous. The surrounding walkways are wide and well landscaped. I can't wait to see them in summer! Wherever you end up parking you are never too far from restaurants and shops. Right on the main strip is BelAir Cantina, Roots Salon, Pizza Man, the Chocolate Factory and more. Plus more on the way I hear. Toward the Far East end is Water Street Brewery, Meijer, Chick-Gil-A and the list goes on. There is soon to be a medical center, apartments, hotel and more. It's truly revitalizing the once sleepy little city of Oak Creek. I'm pretty excited to see how it shapes up in the coming years. I just hope they include a lot more parking because right now the spots fill up fast! read more

If you find yourself in Oak Creek, check out Drexel Town Square, it has a big lovely green space right in the middle surrounded by up scale apartments, a hotel and wonderful shops and restaurants, two of my favorites are Valentine Coffee and Pizza Man. In the summer time they have a nice farmer's market, if I lived in Oak Creek, this is where I would want to be. read more

Even the cash wrap desk was full of random clutter. I came here to buy a dress for a wedding and there were hardly any clothes for women. Where women's clothes used to be were now household items. The dressing rooms were "closed" while the store was still open. I'll start going to a different location from now on. They need to work on this store!

And a few other items like home office decor, holiday candles, wool socks, a roll of ELF wrapping paper, etc. I always forget that TJ Maxx carries things at a good discount, like winter undergarments, Holiday decor, wrapping paper, and all things to get you prepared for the Winter.

I didn't think the types of plants were labeled very well, so I ended up back at the register to ask for advice. After I interrupted her reading a magazine, the lady gave me a couple of suggestions and pointed to areas I could look but it would have been nice if she walked me to the spot and helped me look for what she recommended. She also mentioned they were out of the options that may be a good fit so I guess, come earlier than the first week of June for a full selection. We aren't all garden experts and I was hoping they would be. Anyway, I figured out what to get by reading the markers in the plants. I can't say for sure, but I feel like I was also overcharged for the plants I selected. You'll see in my picture but their pricing for most items is based on the size of the container. How do I know the guy who rang me up picked the right price? My receipt didn't provide details so I couldn't verify later. Anyway, I like the plants I selected but I don't think I'll return. I get more of a personal touch with plant advice from my local hardware store (though they have a limited selection).

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for help about the specific trellis we were on the hunt for but also just passing employees who were friendly/ chatty with us. If you have a weakness for plants or fun garden/ home decor, I'd advise you to plan accordingly and carve out a good part of your day to putz around the grounds & store because there's SO much to see here! Mostly I was happy to get out to Wisconsin away from the boring Chicago Southwest suburbs, into less populated areas. I made a pie with some of the apples and it was really good. I would probably come back.

I do wish there weren't so many vacant storefronts but I understand malls have changed over the years, which is unfortunate. Bayshore also offers a variety of restaurants, including the Cheesecake Factory, which many of my friends love to go to for their large menu and delicious cheesecakes. My one negative remark that I will make is that I do not like to go to this mall after dark. It doesn't feel very safe to me, so I stick to only going during the daytime hours. Oh... and there is that one time the parking garage collapsed in 2023... I never park in the parking garage- I never liked them to begin with, even before that happened.
