    Strawberry Beesting ($21) & Fancy Nancy ($24)
    Evonne C.

[Food/Drinks] - Strawberry Beesting ($21): Neversink Apple Gin, lemon, strawberry, ginger, & rosewater all balanced out the drink really well. The ginger was a bit strong for my taste but I still liked this cocktail overall. - Fancy Nancy ($24): Código 153o Blanco Tequila, Select Aperitivo, lime, grapefruit, ginger, & orange flower water. My friend got this drink, but I wasn't too big of a fan just because the alcohol is a bit too strong for me. - Milk Bread ($11): I wanted to grab a small snack but nothing really caught my eye so I decided to snack on the milk bread. To my surprise it was really good as it was airy and had the perfect amount of salt to balance it out. It's delicious especially with the light fluffy Acacia honey butter! [Service] - Helpful, friendly, attentive [Ambiance] - Dimmed, romantic, open-spaced with a view [Overall] - My friend and I came here for the atmosphere to grab drinks before heading up to the Edge. If you buy $40 per person worth of drinks you can head up to the Edge for free and skip the line, I believe from what the host told us. - I honestly would come back just for the milk bread but I definitely hope to try out other dishes on their menu!

On my 30th birthday trip to New York, my husband decided to start the trip with reservations at Peak with Priceless and I'm so happy he did. The view is to die for!! It overlooks the Hudson River and offers amazing views of the New York skyline overall just an amazing place for a romantic lunch/dinner. The food honestly belongs in a magazine. Everything we ate was outstanding. My favorite dish was probably the oysters and the scallops with grapefruit garnished on top. Our server even went out of his way to give us an extensive run down on the best cocktails they had to offer. It's best to make reservations online before going and they have a dress code that you have to abide by on their website.

They only gave us one steak knife lol

Including access to the edge, which somewhat justifies the expensive menu. New Year's Day- pre fixe menu Steak tartare: 2/5. Meat was too chunky and chewy; Milk bread: 2/5, butter w lemon zest was better than the bread; Steak frites: 3/5, beef wasn't the best quality and the fries were not crispy. Overall, the service was spotty and inattentive. Food was basic and at best mediocre. Not to mention the mandatory 20% service charge and expensive pp menu.

Had a really nice lunch at Peak. This was my 2nd time. I got the steak frites and was impressed by the wine selection. Great atmosphere, great service, and even better views!! Definitely worth checking out

Came here for my birthday . Friend was able to snag a reservation. Reservation includes access the the Edge so that was a nice touch. Staff was excellent Place clean Food and drink was good but I was kind of expecting more for the price tag but I guess it's more the location. Again it wasn't bad but I wasn't blown away with the food and drink . Maybe my expectations were too high. Presentation was lovely I had the scallops for appetizers, the filet mignon and The egg for descent

On the 101st floor this restaurant gives spectacular views. There's an Instagram photo from all areas and with windows galore it makes for a great sunset dinner. The food was delicious. I believe the only issue I had was with the trout as I found that it was not as seasoned as the other offerings I had. But overall the food is priced well and tasty. Definitely recommend a spot to experience at least once and considering the access to the Edge is included! You can't beat that service.

The view itself speaks for the ambiance at Peak! Easy 5/5 all day! 101 floors up in the air overlooking Manhattan, absolutely breathtaking. Milk bread pastas to die for, perfectly crispy but still fluffy and pro tip, ask for extra butter. Delicious cocktails while you soak in the view is a must. Oh, and did I mention the view! What really makes this experience great is if you spend a certain amount of money at the restaurant, you will get free access to Edge; so it's a no brainer to book here for some bites for close to the same price as a ticket to Edge. Now, if the menu was more extensive and had more options, this would have been one of my top restaurants but still, appetizers and drinks are okay by me. I highly recommend.

Manhattan, NY (Hudson Yards) - dining atop a sky high building with floor-to-ceiling open views is a thrilling & indulgent experience, and there's nowhere better to embrace your acrophiliac and epicurean appetites than at Peak, perched upon the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards. Want to wow out-of-town visitors or a date? Bring them here. The menu is pretty typical "contemporary/new American" fine dining fare, but creatively garnished and attractively plated in accordance. Everything we ordered was delicious: I had the beef tartare which is like no other version I've had, and the chicken, which looks very simple, is outstanding. The burger is smoky and juicy (though fries are a bit over-salted on this occasion), and I loved the yellowfin tuna as well. The maiitake mushrooms w/ polenta and steelhead trout were both good, but not especially distinctive, and I found the polenta somewhat bland . Service was courteous and professional, though the food came out very slowly. We ordered appetizers but it took a good awhile for the entrées to arrive. They were very sweet to include a little birthday treat at the end for a birthday boy in our party. You can choose to sit in the dining room or the lounge, and order from a prix fixe or à la carte menu, or simply enjoy a cocktail at the bar or lounge. (Though note the window tables for dinner are prix fixe only.) The views are of course incredible, even if you don't snag a window seat. Hot tip: you receive complimentary access to The Edge observation deck with a $40 per person minimum spend. That's not much more than the cost of tickets, so is a swell bonus! If this were a regular ol' upscale restaurant on the ground I'd probably give it 4 stars, but am upgrading to 5 for the specialness factor: the unbeatable views which enhance the aesthetic experience, and the added perk of accessing The Edge.

I cannot rave about this place enough. The food was AMAZING and just overall an amazing experience with interesting flavors. I tried things I wouldn't normally eat and was super surprised to love it all. The staff was so kind and attentive, it never felt overbearing but it also never felt like they forgot about me. The ambiance is EVERYTHING because it's always giving luxurious and makes you want to constantly take photos. I was obsessed with the view from our table, it's truly breathtaking. And getting dinner here automatically gets you access to the edge so that is an amazing bonus!! 10/10 would recommend

I wish I could give 5 stars, I really do- but the food didn't come out hot. I came here for dinner after a wonderful experience at an event here, and I'll start with the service which was impeccable. The hostess, the waitress, the manager stopped by our table and introduced himself.. everyone was excellent. Top notch service The appetizers: Scallop- my friend tried a scallop for the first time and enjoyed it. I thought it was perfectly cooked and seared just right. The accoutrements were great too- the grapefruit and chips worked well together for taste and texture. Cohesive dish Tuna- another strong dish, the crackers provided the crunchy texture and the miso broth they poured into the plate was really tasty Mains: Filet mignon was perfectly cooked - only negative was the temperature. It was lukewarm Lobster- delicious dish, hearty claws and tail, loved every component. They really think well about how all the flavors marry each other in a dish, and textures come together. However- also served lukewarm! Dessert: The Egg- as delicious as it is beautiful, gold leaf touch on top. Coconut filling, very tropical, light, creative. Cannot beat the ambiance, this is probably the nicest view you can get dining in Manhattan. If the mains came out hot they would have gotten 5 stars. Unfortunately the really lukewarm temp of the dishes threw me off. I would definitely come again though. The view is worth it, the drinks are excellent too and I appreciate that they have a bunch of drinks on the menu with asterisks next to them that they can make non alcoholic

Review is for the 101st floor lounge. No reservations needed.. there will be a waiting list ...check in at Quin. fun fact...$40 pp min gets you admission to the Edge! 2 drinks will get you to the $40 ...but we got 3 plus shared the bread. sooo good! everything was amazing and so were the views! stepping out to the edge after was such a special treat! 100% will do this again

It seems expensive for food but since you get free access to the Edge, it definitely makes it worth it! The interior is beautiful and my mom and I sat on the inside seats so we didn't have to get the prix fixe menu. I ordered the Upper East Sider cocktail and it was light and refreshing! We shared the milk bread (10/10) this was SO good with the whipped maple butter and I wish I could've had 10 more of them. 100% get this Steak tartare (7/10) it was good but the chunks of steak were large and I've had better around. The potato chips on top were really good! She ordered the zitoni pasta (8/10) perfectly cooked but wasn't the best pasta we've tried I got the halibut (9/10) really well cooked and the trout roe was actually so good with the little pops of flavor! I just wish it wasn't $64 And we shared the egg for dessert (10/10) it was so so good with the toasted coconut nest! They brought out a little cake for bday celebrations that is okay tasting but cute with the candle!

    Kailah D.

The food and service were great as our server was kind and very helpful. It's so worth it reserving a window table to see the breathtaking view of NYC! There is complementary coat check and they also gave us the option to go to The Edge before we were seated for our dinner reservation which was nice. Worth a visit for a special occasion.

Peak with Priceless Restaurant & Bar Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Peak with Priceless Restaurant & Bar

    Is this kid friendly?

Yes. I went there on Sunday for brunch with my kids. Excellent opportunity to have a nice meal and then taking your kids to the edge ( free admission if you dine at Peak)

    Is 10:30 reservations too late?

I don't think so but it depends on what you're looking for. We had a 10pm reservation and the night time view was still very nice and people were still getting sat after us. A dj also came in around 11pm so it got a little louder with the music but… Read more

Does a price fixed lunch booking come w free entry to the edge?

Yes it does which is is why I always encourage people to might as well dine there and enjoy the indoor view as well as the outdoor .

How much would you say total is for dinner for 2 in the pre fix meal, taxes and all included?

    $250+

What is the difference between the 'Dining Room' and 'Interior Room' reservation on Resy?

I believe the dining room is only a price fixe menu while interior may refer to the bar area which is a la carte.

    What is the dress code?

No real dress code. Just nothing super casual like flip flops.

Do you need a reservation to sit at the bar? Wanted to head over (on the earlier side (solo) Sunday night.

No reservations needed to sit at BAR

Can we go to the Edge during the wait for dinner as I can't find any reservation before 9 pm and the Edge's last entry is at 9:30 pm?

Yes if you go earlier it should be doable. We had to option to when we went

Do lunch reservations include access to the Edge?

I think as long as you spend $50 or more, you have access to The Edge.

The restaurant hours show close at 2:30 and open at 5:00 for dinner but online reservations allow 2:30?

Is this a good spot to get a drink after work?

The bar is a pretty decent size and the drinks are great. I would call the restaurant and find out if you can just go up there for drinks. It's not that easily accessible since you have to take multiple elevators.

Do you get free access to The Edge even when you go for lunch or is it just for dinner?

Yes for all meals / drinks

I'm trying to make a reservation for mid September and the dates are all grayed out. When do they open the dates for reservations?

21 days out at midnight. We were a table of 6, had trouble getting a table at prime seating times, we tried over and over and 5:45 and before or 8:30 and beyond were the only options. We ended up taking 5.45, ended up being perfect because we… Read more

What is the dress code like?

Business casual, leave the tennis shoes at home

    Any Parking available?

Peak is inside The Hudson Yards, there's paid parking and street parking if it's available.

Is it reservations only or can I walk in?

Your best bet is to make a reservation. They fill up really fast!!

Could I bring my well mannered toddler for lunch?

I would say yes but keep in mind that the food isn't really for kids. Maybe they have a kids menu but i haven't seen it when we were there

How busy does it get on Saturday night around 8pm if I just want to grab a couple drinks at the bar and maybe a bite and then walk out into the edge?

This is a very upscale restaurant so it shouldn't get too busy. I went on a Saturday around 9pm and I was seated immediately (I made a reservation). The bar had a few spots available as well. I would say sit at the bar if you're walking in.

Is there a separate bill for the view or do you have to purchase a ticket? Or are you just paying for the food?

Any reservation with Peak comes with a complimentary access to The Edge

How much is it to dine here for 2?

125 plus pp including drinks, apps and a shared dessert.

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

It somehow manages to feel both refined and relaxed at the same time. The kind of place where you half expect to spot Hemingway in the corner pretending not to eavesdrop. We started with half a dozen oysters, which were fresh, briny, and exactly what you want with serious cocktails. Crisp, clean, gone in about three minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way. It felt like a cocktail designed to be savored slowly. The music fit the mood perfectly, not too loud, just enough to give the room energy without killing conversation. Overall, it's a great spot if you want elevated drinks in a space that feels transportive without being pretentious. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm in the mood for a refined, slightly cinematic night out in Flatiron.

This is a hidden bar upstairs of a restaurant. Small and intimate dimly lit space. Although small,…read moreyou still felt the energy of the room. Very full cocktail menu. Staff was accommodating and let us sit for an hour as we didn't have a reservation. Don't try any of the light bites. I'd come back

We had an extra person when we checked in and they happily added her to the rez. We just had to wait about 15 mins which was fine. We were seated around 7:30pm. It was busy and bustling in the upstairs bar. We were seated at a spot resembling a coffee table(s) with chairs / ottomans surrounding it. I got the martini. It was a fun play with the green curry and saffron. This place is a little loud, so it is not easy to have a convo with your party. I am old so this probably wouldn't have been something I clocked in my younger years. They do have food which looks intriguing. Especially anything with truffles on it. If in the area, would definitely consider coming back for a quick drink and bite. REVIEW #4013
