I brought the computer to Best Buy and I have to say the gentleman there was very helpful. He explained that I would have to purchase my battery since Best Buy didn't carry it . But once I had it , they would be happy to install the battery.....if I leave it there for 3 days. I am not willing to install it myself but when it arrived , I realized I did not feel comfortable leaving my computer there for that long. So , I searched for an alternative. I noticed that DPC had very high ratings so I took a chance , called and asked if I could get this done within one day. Yes, was the answer , as long as I brought it in the morning. So, I did. Just after opening, I arrived with "the patient" and the battery. The gentleman there told me to stay there and wait because it could be done very quickly. Excellent ! And it was done in less than 1/2 hour, for a very reasonable price . I didn't have to leave it for 3 days. (for a battery?) Sorry Best Buy. If repairs arise again, I know where I will go from now on.

I literally called them 10+ times and they were nearly always available or returned my call immediately. The price was fair for the work completed, he made sure my new windows software was installed and up and running before he returned it. Turn around time was great. I dropped it off on a Friday and got it back that Sunday, and he even blew out the 3 years of dust and pet dander that had accumulated inside of it. They ran their tests, charged me a fee and could not replicate the failure. Once I got the computer home, it crashed once the game was being played and they said they did everything they could and I was out of luck. I decided months later to see Adam at nerd rangers. He was very thorough in gaining background on the issue. He asked me whether the other repair shop tried to run the actual game? I was not sure so he went ahead and loaded Fortnite and said he would do his best to replicate the issue. Later that day he reached out to let me know that he believes he found the reason the game crashed (as it did for him) and he felt confident that he fixed the issue. When I went to pick up the computer he reassured me that if for some reason the fix didn't work he would continue to work with me to identify the problem.
