I truly feared all of my files were gone forever. Wedding pictures, baby photos, and vacations we'd taken over the years. Plus all my music and video files. Adam and the Nerd Rangers saved almost everything for me on a 5TB drive. Their pricing is incredibly reasonable. I'd called a couple services that would have needed me to mail off the drive and they quoted me much higher rates as their minimums. I'm so glad I found Nerd Rangers. They're local and kept me updated every step of the way. I can't recommend them enough. Thanks again guys!

I was unsuccessful with a previous computer store, located on Ogden ave, figuring out the reason my…read morehigh end gaming PC would crash while running games. They ran their tests, charged me a fee and could not replicate the failure. Once I got the computer home, it crashed once the game was being played and they said they did everything they could and I was out of luck. I decided months later to see Adam at nerd rangers. He was very thorough in gaining background on the issue. He asked me whether the other repair shop tried to run the actual game? I was not sure so he went ahead and loaded Fortnite and said he would do his best to replicate the issue. Later that day he reached out to let me know that he believes he found the reason the game crashed (as it did for him) and he felt confident that he fixed the issue. When I went to pick up the computer he reassured me that if for some reason the fix didn't work he would continue to work with me to identify the problem. Happy to report that I've run multiple games with zero crashes and everything is running fine. The level of service, detailed questions and customer care was excellent. Thanks Adam!

There is one serious problem with the standard 5-point rating scale, and My Computer Guy is a…read moreperfect example of the problem. He deserves at least 7 stars, maybe eight! He is professional. He is friendly. HE is VERY knowledgable. He removed the center monitor from my three screen set up. He replaced it with a new top of the line Lenovo with windows 11, a built in webcam, etc. He loaded Windows 11, reconfigures the three monitor setup. He cheked it all out to ensure everything was working perfectly. We said goodbye and he went his way. Then...the next day he sent me an eMail just to confirm that everything was still working 100%--(which is was, and still is). Whenever I need onsite tech services I never consider calling anyone other than My Computer Guy. Doesn't that sound like a seven on the five-point scale? Yeah, I thought so too.

Great services! Recently sold a laptop online to them. They received my computer and processed it…read morepromptly. They were super responsive throughout the entire process, and never left me "in the dark" at any points. Thus, I was never concerned as to whether or not anything was going wrong without my knowledge. Anton was very nice, considerate, and made my experience a breeze. The only slightly negative thing I have to say is that when I got quoted online, I initially got quoted ~$260, but then, post evaluation, I was told that I could only get $205 for it. However, based on Anton's explanation as to why this was the case (he determined it was a bit more "used" than the website options could represent), I gladly accepted his offer, and was very pleased that I received payment in a timely manner. So, my complaint is more about the website (which is that it might not always be very accurate). In general, therefore, I'd play it safe and estimate to be offered a bit less in the end. If their quote system were a bit more accurate, they'd be perfect!

When my computer does not behave in the manner to which I am accustom, I get totally frustrated. I have absolutely NO idea what the vast majority of the keys that are not letters or numbers, do. So, instead of taking my computer to Best Buy, where I am treated like the technically challenged person that I am, only in front of other people, I have found someone who will come to my house and pick up my computer and not tell me what they are thinking. ( at least about my computer-lacking skills) I explain what it is not doing and it comes home all better, and all clean! Gladly accepted the coupon I had, which is where I found the number to begin with, and happily assured me to just call if there were any other issues. Now, only Mike, and of course, anyone reading this review, knows of my ineptitude, but not everyone shopping at Best Buy. Geek Squad, take note.
