Took my tab in for repair in Jan 2018, a week later received a call saying it was fixed and ready to pick up. In the same day I tried to use the tablet and the problem was still not fixed. Took my tablet back the next day. I called the next week wanting an update...no info give. Called the next week no info given. Went back to their office to get answers...no info given. Called 2 weeks later, was sent to voice mail....This went on for 5 months. Last week in April I called the office, sent to voice mail and threaten to call the police if my device was not returned..... no return phone call. Went to their office the next day and was told my device was broken beyond repair and was given a down graded tablet. I was upset and asked others opinion. Everyone told me no matter the state of my tablet, to retrieve it back. Went back next week asked for my tablet back and was told they were waiting on Samsung to contact them for my warrantee information, I did not authorize them to do this. I threaten to call the police if they did not give me back my tablet. Once they finally found my tablet it was given to me without the back. I was told the back was broken.....uhhhhh Got home charged the tablet........Guess what??????? It worked! I'm not sure what kind of establishment they are running, but something is not right with this company! read more

Had some work done a few of years ago and had my drive changed to an SSD. Fast forward to today when my husband was breaking down the computer for recycling (the keyboard died). He wanted to take out the SSD to reuse. Turns out the SSD I paid more for was actually a cheaper SATA (says so right on the drive, no mistaking it). I suspect they hadn't figured we'd ever "look under the hood" to confirm it. And I was actually pleased with the work they had done at the time. On the 25th (after confirming I was in service range and price was acceptable) I scheduled an appointment via online form for service on the 30th. They were supposed to confirm via e-mail, but I didn't receive anything. So on the 29th I contacted them to confirm we were set for service the next day. Their response was "that I was not within their service range" even though the form clearly states I was in their service range and they accepted my credit card for that address. So, in conclusion, I can't speak to the quality of their work, but they have awful customer service. All they had to do was any of the following: 1. Not advertise that they can service my zip code if they can't 2. Contact me ASAP and let me know their was a mistake and they can't help me. Walked in at 10:15 am, no appointment with a laptop that would not boot. I'm no stranger to fixing my own computers, but could not get this one to load. I spent a few hours on it, caved and decided to bring it here. Got a call a few hours later that it was done, updated, all drivers updated and ready. Took my phone into replace my broken screen got my phone back and it was discolored and had two white dots that would not go away no matter how much the guy tried to fix it. My screen is now messed up every time i press down on it. Paid $110 dollars and regret every penny. They basically told me to wait and the dots and discoloration should go away but it is still there. Let me first start off by saying I would give them 0 stars if I could!! I had and absolute terrible experience here. I came in for a simple screen replacement that turned into me needing to get the volume buttons fixed since it stopped working after they replaced the screen. So I had to wait for the piece to come in. A couple of days later I called to see if the piece was in and they said yes so I drove out there. When I got there they said they didn't know where the piece was and that I would need to come back. When I went back they fixed the volume buttons, but when I got home I noticed that the front camera or fingerprint scanner did not work now. So I had to take it back to them AGAIN. I waited there this time while they attempted to fix their mistakes once again. The man working on my phone repeatedly said "Oh shit!" And "Dammit!". His boss had to tell him to stop because hearing him say that was not comforting to him or customers, and he was right! After about an hour he was finally able to fix the camera but then told me that there was nothing that they could do for the home button that they messed up. When I got home I noticed that the camera isn't even really fixed because it is very foggy. And to top it all off.. They charged me for the labor to fix all the problems that THEY caused. I will NEVER be going back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone!! read more

I created a post on a local garage sale page looking for someone to fix my daughter's cracked iPad screen. Dakota from PageDesk was one of the first people to reply, and he told me that they beat any competitor's offer by 10%. We figured we had nothing to lose, since they were way closer to us than Orland, and it would cost less. I brought it in right before they closed for the evening on Wednesday and by Thursday, our repair was completed. I was extremely impressed by the quality of the work, and I was very pleased with the turnaround time. I also really like that their work is guaranteed for the life of the device (except for user damage, which makes sense). They are wonderful people to talk to and I would trust them with any device I had problems with. In speaking with them about other electronics (like TV and computers), it is obvious that they are extremely knowledgable in their field. I will definitely be using them again when needed! read more

I called this company and explained the issue with my computer. The man I spoke to said he had heard of this problem before and it shouldn't be difficult or lengthy to fix. I then brought it in that same day. Since I was under the impression that it would be looked at right away with either a diagnosis or a fix, I called back before they closed. I was told that it was still being looked at. The next day, I waited until mid-day to call again and was told that he couldn't determine if it was hardware or software that was causing the problem, but promised to have an answer within 2 hours. I was not called back. I called, again, the following day (approx. 24 hours after my previous call) and was told that they couldn't replicate my problem and I should just go ahead with a tune up (at the cost of $85). My computer is only 1 1/2 years old, and without knowing the problem I brought it in for, I declined. Upon my husband picking it up, he was presented with a $25 diagnostic fee. I was originally told on the phone that there would not be a diagnostic fee. There was also, apparently, no diagnosis!! My husband wasn't aware that there should not have been a fee plus the woman told him that I had approved it (completely untrue), so he paid it. I lost 2 1/2 days where my computer could have been taken elsewhere and repaired and I'm out $25 for absolutely nothing in return! This company also makes websites and hosts them. I was hoping this would have turned into a great experience as I may be in the market in the near future for those services. Oh well........... read more

Don't take your iphone to Page Desk in New Lenox. It will VOID your warranty despite what they tell you!! I had to go back with the same issue 3 times and now have a broken phone with a voided warranty. They want me to go back a fourth time to make it right. They have seriously wasted my time. Each time I was there it was well over an hour. They lie and have no clue what they are doing. The screen is a knock off and it doesn't even sit well. Its supposed to be flush to the phone but instead bows up. Do yourself a favor and go to apple!! read more

Unfortunately, the only good thing I can say about their service was that they were very polite and got the job done. Otherwise they were pretty bad. There's a guy online that makes royalty free music, and I believe he goes by Incompetech - that'd be a good name for these guys, as the word I've constantly thought to describe them is incompetent. First of all, the computer repair cost over $100 - not crazy, considering Microcenter would do it for around the same price if not a bit more, and friends could do it for a bit less. The main reason I brought it into be repaired even though I have friends that do this and I can mostly do it myself is that I couldn't find what the issue was. Fortunately, they found the issue in a couple days and went to order a new motherboard - the one we ordered, and they talked us through ordering (they even gave us a $20 discount, which sounded great at the time) was $570 - the MSI Godlike Gaming Carbon. A week later, they call us back, saying, "Okay, it's done. feel free to come in and pick it up" we can't come in that day, so we came in next morning. I noticed a couple strange things straight away - the motherboard is silver, while it should be black and light up red. They also don't power it on to show us if it works, for whatever reason. I just think that the motherboard may have been in a different color than what its supposed to be, no real issue although I would've preferred to have been asked. They also mention that the graphics card started on fire after they finished building it, and as it was working beforehand, I can't imagine it wasn't their fault somehow. Fortunately they were kind enough to RMA it and we should be getting the replacement soon. We take it home, and it turns out that the motherboard is instead the MSI Gaming Titanium which costs about $200 less then the one we paid for. We say, okay, let's just see if we can turn it on so I can get back to work. We try it, nope. No picture, doesn't post to bios - essentially only a bit better than the computer we brought in. We found it super frustrating that they gave us back an unfixed computer after fixing it - I would have thought they'd test it before giving it back to us. So we let them know, and they get the proper motherboard. We also ask them to repair my phone - this costs only $20 less than the computer for whatever reason - the only issue is the charging port and it takes them 6 days to repair it as they have to 'send it to the lab' (even though all you need to know how to do to replace it is soldering the new part in place) I also looked it up online beforehand and saw that it was $20 cheaper to repair the phone elsewhere, and it was guaranteed to be done in a weekend. For convenience's sake though, and assuming it hopefully wouldn't take as long as it did, we brought it in here. After another week, at the beginning of the next, I finally have my phone back. Fortunately everything works as it should be and nothing is wrong with it. Phew. A half a week goes by, and on the Thursday we call and ask if it'll be done soon - they don't pick up at first, then email us later that it will be done tomorrow. We call tomorrow, and they say it'll be done Monday. We call Monday, once again they don't answer but later call us to say that it'll be done Tuesday. We were finally able to pick up the 'repaired' computer on Tuesday, three weeks after we bring it in (as a tech person myself, if I had known the issue was the motherboard, I would have just ordered the one from Amazon for $20 more and, considering Amazon extremely rarely has issues with shipments, have gotten it in the next day or two and then installed everything myself in about six hours or so, finishing the project in a day or two. I understand these guys run a business and have a high workflow, but this was just ridiculous, in my opinion. Same thing with the phone - if I had known how to solder, I'd be able to order it and do it myself (from looking online, the part needed to fix it costs literally fifty cents, a few dollars more if you were to buy it from a specific supplier that overcharges - I have no idea where the $109 to repair it came in, other than labor, which feels like a bit much for soldering an extremely small part to a phone and doing nothing else) So, here's the last part, that's probably the worst - today, Tuesday, they called and asked for my password - according to my Mom, who works with the government in their IT division, this is a huge no-no and they should have never ever have done this. When I came in to pick it up this time, they fortunately booted it up all the way to Windows to show me it was working - something that had confused and worried me a little however was that it was already logged in - I had a password on my account, and as far as I know even if you're disconnected from the internet it needs it to be accessed/logged into.
