I was looking for a camera battery and while they did not carry it in the end, the batteries plus representative made all the efforts to look the battery up. Confirm that she did not have it at her store, but checked all the other batteries pluses in the area and confirmed that none of the stores carried that particular Battery But even offered another company for me to try. Unfortunately, that company was a big box store that I had already reached out to and hung up because all I could get was an animated service that could not help me. Despite their signage out front saying otherwise, this business is listed as 'Batteries Plus' on Yelp. They can be found on the left end of a strip mall in Bolingbrook near the intersection with Weber Rd, near Charley's Cheesesteaks and KO Sushi on Boughton Rd. The other month my 3yo's toy plane ran out of juice, and he asked me to fix it. "Sure buddy, no problem", I told him, "how hard can it be to find a pair of LR41 button batteries? Shouldn't be that expensive..." Famous last words. Come to find out, not only are LR41 button batteries a non-standard type, but they're hella expensive ($5/ea). Button batteries are the bane of my existence and pose a serious health risk, so yes, I hate them with every fiber of my being. The sales associate helped me find what I needed, and $11 later my son's plastic model 737 was making its usual cacophony of noises. Whoever designed that !@&$% toy to use the most obtuse batteries available should be drawn & quartered like in medieval times (the era, not the dinner theatre). * TL;DR * If ever there was a niche store, it's Batteries + Bulbs. I shouldn't need to come back here, unless I'm dumb enough to buy another toy that's powered by atypical means (anything other than 'AA' or 'AAA' batteries). The store is organized well and serves its purpose, though not in a terribly exciting fashion. At least their name spells out exactly what's offered, no ambiguity here.

I went to Batteries Plus, where I have been a watch battery customer for years, and they quickly and effectively solved my problem. They got the needed battery the next day and installed it a day later. The iPad is again working fine. The cost was more than Apple quoted if they had the battery, but was worth it to me for the quick service and lack of extra travel. I don't know what Best Buy would have charged me.

I called them and admittedly it took me a while as I travel for work. They then took their sweet time not getting back to me with every excuse in the world. I want to be clear I asked for my money and I told them more importantly this kid is Going to hurt someone. My wife was in the middle of the street. I spoke to the manager who told me he would look into it. After getting back to me he said there was nothing they can do. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR FAMILY SAFE. after discussion with the manager he pointed out how I took too long to get back to them. He ignored the video. And told me with his employee told me that he was fixing it in a different way. In reality the Young man told me he had trouble loosening the nuts on my battery. I showed him the receipt for the battery which still had two months worth of warranty coverage. He brought out a tester and said that the battery was fine. I didn't believe him and it turned out I was correct. The Die Hard battery "died". My feeling is he just didn't want to take responsibility or be bothered for a warranty item from another store. Not impressed at all and would not go back there nor would I buy another diehard battery.

I could not get off the back battery plate and asked store rep for assistance. The rep get the old battery out and replaced with new fresh battery in about 1 minute. I asked what I owed and was presented a $17.35 bill. I was not informed there was a charge for putting in the 3.00 battery. I did pay the bill and lodged a complaint with Battery Plus Corporate. To my great surprise Matt, the Store Manager, said he agreed with my assessment, had a meeting to instruct everyone to inform work costs before proceeding, and said that he would give me a full refund which he did on 2-4-2026. I am quite pleased that Matt was so forthright in giving my full purchase price back. I give high kudos to Matt and all the Batteries Plus store personnel. FRAUD…read more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 12/16/2017 a kid from my household ordered 5 drones from this company. when the items were received we right away reported it as fraud to our bank and to the company that accepted the order which is batteries and things. when I called ron the ceo was nice a polite and told me to return them and that he would refund us our money. and he would not charge us a restocking fee. so we shipped them back out. when RON THE CEO finally received the items he called me and told me that he was only going to refund me $175.00 the original refund was suppose to be for $289.75. there was a total of items which were the cost of $57.95. when I asked Mr. CEO why was I only getting $175.00 he flipped out on me and told me to fuck off and if I didn't like it I could call the president of the united states and he hung up on me.
