We came here with a reservation one night and the place was pretty empty - you likely could walk in and grab a table with ease. The inside felt clean and relatively modern. Menu had a good selection of Italian fare and food came out relatively fast - service overall did pretty well. All the food portions were pretty solid which was nice. We definitely left stuffed and the taste itself was fine, nothing amazing but not bad. Solid Italian spot and it satisfied our cravings! Overall, this was an okay spot. Nice , quite atmosphere, and consistently delicious food. Always friendly service. It's not crazy special/ authentic/ nonna-made italian , but we pretty much tried everything on the menu, and all dishes are good ( personally, did not like the risotto that much-- seafood was king of dry for me , and piccata was too briny for my taste) but other people in my family disagreed with me:) Pastas are my favorite, and if you are there get the calamari; the portion is on the smaller side, but they are delicious ( i wish they would continue to serve them on arugula instead of tasteless lettuce) . I loveeee Pazza!! We came in to celebrate a roomie night and enjoyed their amazing happy hour pasta prices, along with trivia night! The service was great and making the reservation was so easy. I loved the option to add a bottle of wine for the table in my reservation, so I was able to surprise everyone! Such a cute atmosphere and trivia made it super lively! This place is pretty amazing! Had Sunday brunch recently. As soon as I walked through the door, I was impressed with how gorgeous it was inside. The staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. We started out with drinks and apps. I split meatball sliders and calamari. The sliders were so good, I wanted to order more and the Calamari was cooked to perfection. My friends got a Bloody Mary and an Espresso Martini (almost too pretty to drink). Me, a mimosa with strawberry juice. I had the chicken and waffles. I wouldn't think to pair maple syrup with any kind of chili but I definitely worked. They topped it with strawberries for added sweetness. My husband picked me up from the airport and we came to Pazza because he wanted to check it out after reading the reviews online. We were seated inside. I had the Zia Rose for a cocktail which was very tasty. My husband had to try the You're Making Me Caprese which is like the Godfather version of a Martini! He enjoyed it-it was very different with the burrata and pesto syrup and the burrata foam and he was glad he ordered it! It was all his favorite things! We shared the Prosciutto Stracciatella as an app. For the main course, he had the Atlantic Cod, which was very fresh! I had the Zozzona and it was delicious!! For dessert I had a very tasty espresso martini and we spoilt the Millefoglie, which was so good we wanted to kick the dish! We hope to return the next time I travel from the airport! read more

Hadn't been here in a while - the last few times were disappointing but heard they revamped the food and interior, so gave it another shot. Happy we went back. Interior has been upgraded a bit improving the atmosphere and ambiance. The outdoor patio is a nice option as well. The food is much better now. We ordered the chicken parm and bucatini amalfi (shrimp scampi) and both were good (loved the chicken parm). Sangria was A+. Service was prompt and attentive. I thought the food was great.. We got three different plates and shared. 1. Shirt Rib- we got the butternut sauce in the side, this was great. 2. Chicken Parm - the vodka sauce was great, pasta great, the cutlets were good but felt it could have been better. 3. Braised Pork Pappardelle - this was great, would add some Vodka sauce or Pomodoro to it. Got Garlic Parm wings and Fried Ravioli for apps. Both were very good. Staff were great, friendly and attentive. It was good to find a place that doesn't sacrifice quality when trying to keep prices down for their customers. My sister and I went to celebrate her brand new job a few weeks ago. I'd heard reviews of their speakeasy, so I figured that their restaurant would be good. The atmosphere is weird. They're aiming for a classy look, but the two GIANT TV screens in the dining area (not the bar, which also has screens) definitely take away from the general vibe. They were playing Hocus Pocus and IT, which were drowned out by the music. There was a man with a guitar in the corner, but the entire time we were there, he was tuning it. Never got to actually hear anything. Food was on par with other high quality Italian restaurants in Boston. We ordered the fried ravioli, which is one of my favorite Italian-American dishes. The vodka sauce was amazing, I wish I could bottle it up! I also got it on my chicken parm. The gnocchi was soft and pillowy, and the buttata on top was such a nice addition. The drinks were very strong, but the flavors were fantastic. I got the Raffaello's Old Fashioned and it was very aromatic and fresh. Portions are big- which is great because the prices run high. Because of this, Pazza on Porter for me is a special occasion restaurant. I can't picture just going by there for a normal dinner, it's not very casual, but it doesn't have to be. Pazza on Porter is a contemporary Italian restaurant that still manages to have homestyle taste. We went there based on reputation and reviews, and we were not disappointed. It's unassuming on the exterior, but classy yet comfortable inside. We were promptly greeted and seated, then we began perusing the menu. For an appetizer, we went with the Antipasto Board, which had a variety of meats, cheeses, spreads, olives, and roasted peppers. It was as impressive to look at as to eat. We then moved onto the pastas. Sunday Dinner Pasta was a great choice, as it had three types of meats involved. That way you get to try everything. This was a hearty and rich dish. We also had Gnocchi and Spareribs, which paired house made gnocchi with a butternut squash sauce. The boneless rib-meat was placed on top of this dish. This was a more adventurous dish, but it was delicious as well. We split a order of Nutella-Stuffed Cannolis for dessert, which were a very nice finish to a major meal. Came here last night for the first time with my dad for our custom chicken parm date. Got there around 5pm on a Tuesday and were seated immediately with minimal guests dining at that time. Caesar Salad was good with a very peppery dressing which I love. Chicken parms were huge! I think we could've split one and still had left overs. Great amount of sauce on pasta and chicken with some still crunchy bits on the edges. Tiramisu Bites was such an innovative take on the dessert, big fan but slightly difficult to break into. Pazza is the neighborhood Italian gem that does everything Italians are notorious for: being loud, serving up lots of food, and bringing people together. I got a TravelZoo voucher for Pazza because it looked interesting and it was a great deal. These kind of deals are really hit or miss but it was a great deal so we gave it a shot, and I'm glad we did. The homemade pasta was the highlight of our meal. Not overworked, dry, overcooked, it had the perfect bite and was treated with the respect it deserved. There were a lot of good options for pasta but we opted for the seafood special and the carbonara. The carbonara took me back my time in Italy... it was perfect. I've had some terrible carbonara in my years where the egg breaks or is overcooked and starchy, but this was smooth, silky, and perfectly seasoned while keeping the pork crispy and dry. The seafood special was good, flavorful, and a good portion. I think it was trout in a tomato, olive, caper, garlic sauce over a bed of spaghetti. The burrata was good too, but neither of these dishes blew me away, not like the carbonara did at least. The staff was friendly and prompt, giving us the appropriate attention without smothering us. No issues here. The atmosphere felt like a a busy neighborhood Italian place, high energy, lots of laughing and talking - just a really cool vibe. I think Pazza has a lot going for it. I had concerns at first but was pleasantly surprised at our first experience, if you like local/neighborhood gems I recommend giving Pazza a try. read more

We came in here on a Saturday night after looking for parking at other locations - Pazza has its own off street parking which is a huge plus for the area. Our server was great - the fisherman plate I ordered with scallops did not come with scallops and I had to send it back but they were very accommodating for making the mistake.
