My friends and I stopped in here on a our first night in Boston. It was Friday night and a random find. We just happened to park across the street and noticed the bar but it was closed until later in the evening. We did did our thing and explored the area and decided to check out this spot before leaving. It's a little unassuming from the outside with the words Local Bar painted on the wall, but the little neon flamingo sign lets your know you're at the Flamingo. Walking in, the vibes were cool. They have this retro 80's Miami thing going on. It was cool. That's about all that was cool though. Customer service wasn't all that. The staff seemed more interested in their regulars. Since we walked in and used their facilities we decided just to have a shot and keep it moving. The shot wasn't even all that good. If it weren't for the cold customer service, we would have potentially spent alot more money here. It's a one and done for me!

It's cold outside, so came here. I got 3 drinks, they were all good, and reasonably (?) priced. The bartender was super sweet, and there was an engagement party going on so vibes were super nice. Don't know if i'd come here often but good way to spend my time.
Adorable spot for a quick drink! Came here with some girlfriends on a Thursday night and it wasn't super packed but still lively. The drink menu had lots of cute and yummy options (decently priced for Boston cocktails in my opinion) and the bartenders were so attentive and fun! I also got the keep my flamingo drink holder and little rubber duckies that came in the drink as souvenirs which I loved :)
Cute little bar. I like the interior. It's a place to grab a quick drink. Wouldn't stay here for too long. The cocktails were not mixed well. Just go for the beer.
This was a cute cocktail bar to stop at and spend an hour or two. The drinks are tasty and so cute. The aesthetic is nice and it's a classy place to be! Would definitely recommend as a place to grab drinks with friends.
This is one of those places that you'd probably visit more for the atmosphere than anything else. I came to The Flamingo with a few friends on a Saturday night before heading out to dinner. It was already pretty busy, even around 7pm. There weren't a ton of tables available, but you could certainly order at the bar. I'm not sure what the vibes are like later in the evening, but I did notice they had security, so I'm guessing it gets rowdier later in the night. I didn't get to try any of the food here, but it seemed like a solid spot for drinks. They serve some of their drinks in an inflated flamingo, which seems to be their signature. More than anything else, this seemed like one of those places that people come to take pictures, since there was an interesting ambiance. Having been there once, I don't feel the need to go back.
Came here for drinks after dinner and decided to try their guacamole and chips. Drinks were very sweet and guacamole was mediocre. The vibe of this place was consistent with many of the new youthful spots opening up recently. Lots of pink and foliage (real or fake) sporadically displayed. Music was a remix of a lot of pop music, throw backs, and what you would expect as House music. Staff were decently friendly. Overall, I had a moderate experience but I'm not sure if I have to urge to come again. It did get surprisingly busy by the time we left around 8 pm on a Sunday night.
A wicked campy spot in the North End. The decor sets you back to the times of chandeliers with a flare for punk rock. Bartenders were hip and service was great. Beer a selection was decent. Two really good local IPA's on draft. Didn't eat here so can't comment on that but went here twice in one week because it was a cool joint to hang out in. Definitely be back.

It only got more crowded from there and by the time we left at around 9pm, it was PACKED. So definitely expect a wait if you're coming here for drinks on a weekend. I ordered the Pink Flamingo drink - initially because I wanted the flamingo floaty - but the drink was actually quite tasty so I kept ordering more! It's on the sweeter end, which I prefer, and was very light and easy to drink. Our waitress was super nice and helpful with recommendations! I asked her for a rubber ducky too (which usually comes with another cocktail) and she immediately brought one over. Before we left, we ended up doing a shotski after we saw the table behind us do one, and it was great! I think we chose the green tea shot (?) - this was actually DELICIOUS. We also ordered some churros, which were hot, sweet, crunchy, and exactly what we needed. Overall, this was such a fun place to have some drinks! Highly recommend.

Drinks: We got a mojito, a mai tai and a pink flamingo drink (the one that comes with the floatie). They were all great and well made. I also love the detail and aesthetic they bring to each drink. Vibe: South beach Miami vibes. It was a seat yourself situation when we went there so we had seats at the bar. The bartender said they were expanding to an upstairs bar in the coming weeks for more space which will be nice. Food: Didn't try any but definitely will next time. As a Cuban, I had to evaluate their menu, looks good from the menu. Will update when I try. The bartender said the empanadas are homemade in house so that's where I would start. If you are looking for a late night spot in the North End this is one of two that are open late. Although, get there early if you want to get in because I am sure they get packed.

I had a hit and miss experience at The Flamingo. On our first night the drinks were flowing, the atmosphere was lively and the service was good. Unfortunately, our second visit was the complete opposite, with a much less enjoyable experience overall. That said, I really liked the decor and space. Cheers! read more

Great energy here! The place filled up very quickly and stayed full the whole night. It's pretty small so go early if you want to get a table or order food. It's all seat yourself. The staff seems a little mixed up probably because it's the beginning. We had like every server in the restaurant coming up to us to check on our drinks a little too often. The staff was super friendly and the food was pretty good too! read more

I loved this place !!!! First time there , with my daughter ( mid 20's & mid 50's)... the music was excellent.... people were definitely enjoying themselves with LOTS of libations.... the bartender was super nice + friendly ( MYER !!!!!) Will def go back .... but not soon enough !!!!! read more

Cool new bar in the North End with a 60's Miami feel to it. Fun vibe and experience. The spicy margaritas were great and the tacos were good. Saw a Cubano sandwich that looked tasty I'll try that next time. Nice addition to the neighborhood. read more

We had a couple of drinks mid-day on a Sunday; this place is great. Miami-themed vibe, and local patrons versus tourist vibe. Our bartender was very nice, and when I asked if the blowup pink flamingos were for sale he gave one to me. As I hugged it and asked, "What's cuter than this?" he then brought me a tiny pink rubber duck meant for floating in a drink. I laughed and said, "What's cuter than *this*?" and then he brought me a small gummy shark in a shot glass. I was cracking up laughing. We will definitely come back; very friendly and nice atmosphere. read more
