Nice location with friendly staff and fresh food. The breakfast combos are nice even if you don't want all the food. Get a breakfast sandwich and bring a bonus donut to a friend! The coffee is served fresh and hot. Lots of parking, as well as tables inside. Great choice if you're in the area.

I love Paula's however I did not love this location. The peanut stick was really dry like it was a couple days old. The sour cream glazed had half of the edge of the donut missing. This is not the Paula's that I know. I will avoid this location next time.

Service and of course the donuts! I've been here 4 out of 5 days of being in town and I cannot go back home without a dozen of the donut holes! Bacon, egg and cheese croissant is mouthwatering!

This location has indoor and outdoor seating. We came around 1 pm on a Saturday and it was quiet with almost all of the donut flavors still in stock. They really have so many favors to choose from, but since I love their peanut cream donut, I just got that.

I have eaten donuts all over the country and until today the Old-fashioned sour cream at Dandee's Donuts in Florida (Atlantic side) had been my favorite. Paula's are thicker and more flavorful than any old-fashioned sour cream donut I have had. The red velvet was also excellent and the density and texture were perfect. The chocolate angel cream filled donut was very similar to those at the Donut Hole in the 30A area in Florida (gulf side), BUT Paula puts twice as much filling in hers, and therefore it is twice as good in my opinion. I wish I had tried more donuts, but four is about the most I can handle at one time! My son had the chocolate iced version of the chocolate angel cream filled doughnut, and he thought it was amazing, but for him, it was so much filling that he could only eat half of it at one time. However, I personally loved all of the filling.

Delicious and unique as well as original options to choose from. Fast and friendly service. Prices are amazing. The boxes travel well too if getting many different ones.

    Sour cream old fashioned

I feel like a monster writing this, but I found Paula's Donuts lacking. I saw online that the sour cream old fashioned made Alton Brown cry with joy, so I had to try that one, and ended up getting a red velvet old fashioned, too. I found the sour cream donut to be so saturated with glaze and sugar and oil that it seemed not just dense, but under/unbaked. The texture and flavor were off for me. Alternatively, I don't really like red velvet as a flavor in any food items, but the bake was significantly better, and it didn't have the greasy sugar-bomb density of the sour cream one, so I guess I preferred it--a real surprise for me. Maybe I would have faired better with a filled or specialty donut? Or maybe this is the nature of reputations--they can create unrealistic expectations? Or maybe it was an off-day for ol' Paula? Guess I'll have to visit Buffalo again and give this place another shot in the future. Aside from that, the service was friendly and I was served quickly. The place is spacious inside and I think saw some outdoor seating, too. Plus that fun donut statue outside seems like a great photo op!

Great local donut shop! Quick service and very clean seating area! I was worried that it would be crazy busy at 8:20 on Saturday morning, but we either beat the rush or just missed them! We got coconut cream, coconut custard and glazed cinnamon to go. The coconut cream was simply the best donut I ever had! We're just traveling through Buffalo, but I could see this becoming your go-to if you lived in town

Cute place..it has that old donut shop feel to it. We came for the donuts. They had a good variety of donuts. We got glazed twist, red velvet, cheese filled , Boston cream and fried cinnamon. All of them were fresh and delicious. They were moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. They next day some hardened a little but still good. Don't think they would last one more day. The young man behind the counter was so nice, very helpful and happy to help. .

I had never been to this Buffalo location before. I was craving a cheese doughnut. I was rushing to get to work on time found out this location was relatively close in proximity to my immediate location and I took off like it was a race. . Anyway it a smaller location. It appeared very clean. I walked in and was serviced immediately by a very nice young lady who's in the pictures I took. I got the cheese and the toasted coconut cream. . When I say I was satisfied. Babbbyyy I was all too satisfied. I was in and out in record time and I raced against the clock back to work. I plan on going back today after this shift is over. I made the mistake of going to famous doughnuts yesterday in an attempt to save a buck and stay in the general area. SMH. It was not horrible but I like what I like. I like Paula's.

Delicious donuts, great service. Always tasty options available there and also recommend the breakfast sandwiches as well.

Paula's Donuts helped heal me after surgery - seriously. But first, a few words about the best…read moredonuts in the United States. I feel confident that statement is true. These are not featherweight, boring, drive thru chain donuts that never fail to disappoint. The box says they are "made with love" and while I certainly hope the bakers and makers are not oozing affection for the creations as they do their job (because that would get weird right?), the recipes and standards of ultra high quality that this unique WNY establishment has sure shows a respect and appreciation for their customers. The dough is light and never greasy tasting. The cream fillings are also fluffy and airy and melt in your mouth. Jellies are all top notch and let me be clear, the donuts are packed full with whatever is inside. Or on top. The headlights are incredible. Peanut butter offerings (several to choose from) are stellar. I'm not sure if the chocolate icing is a ganache but it seems much more like a ganache than the lousy, dried out icing you might find at places we need not mention. Staff are always courteous, polite and fast. I think each donut is going for about $2.30 but well worth it for the size and quality. A box of 3 is heavy to hold. You get a lot of donut for your buck. I've been on a Paula's kick for a couple months, stopping in when appropriate for my donut desires but trying to be mindful of my waistline. I like to sit down and really enjoy every bite. These are not ordinary donuts, they are an experience to savor. But how do Paula's donuts help one recover from surgery? It's about what you might do with them. My friend picked me up and brought me home after the hospital and slyly produced a bag of donuts for me, which I sat down and ate the minute I walked in the door. The unexpected gesture of something I've been enjoying a lot lately certainly took my mind off any discomfort. Nice friend, right? Part of recovery is having supportive friends and family and I'm glad I've got that. And I'm glad I also got a bag of donuts to make a "rough day" a lot better. So, Paula's people - I haven't tried them all yet so I guess I'm going to have to return. (Image is different donuts from a different day.)

Upon walking in, the store looked like a standard "hole-in-the wall" place and had a simple selection of donuts to choose from. If you want to use a credit card, you have to spend at least $5. Donuts: I got the classic glazed donut, peanut donut, red velvet, and a cream filled donut. The glazed donut was soft and delicious. The peanut donut was more on the crumbly side but still great flavour. The red velvet had a nice cream cheese icing. The cream filled donut had a typical white cream filling. Personally, I liked the glazed donut the best - great texture and wasn't too overly sweet. The pricing here is amazing - $1.50 for great quality donuts! Easy to park on the street. There's no seating inside, so it's more of a takeout place. They also sell lottery tickets alongside donuts. It is certainly worth the visit along the way coming from Toronto.

They had a nice apple flavor to it and weren't overly sweet like other ones I've had. I also had the original sugared donuts. This was my first time having one of them. I really like how fluffy they were but they tasted a little boring and didn't have much flavor to them. Overall, I'm a huge fan of Duke's Donuts.
