I went there Saturday morning at 6:45am before the Toledo vs Buffalo game. Very quick service. Everyone was very nice. I'm not sure about these negative reviews. Got the whole wheat everything bagel and egg white avocado bagel. Both were amazing, soft and exactly what you expect from a New York bagel store. Don't let these negative reviews turn you off. This place is really good.

Not sure if this is a worthy successor to Bagel Jay's, but it was alright for what it is, I suppose. I thought the Farmhouse bagel sandwich was very generously sized and the prices were reasonable, though maybe the hash brown thing was a little expensive. Yummy at least.

I ordered a veggie sandwich. it was supposed to be to have a sun dried tomato cream cheese spread, lettuce, tomato, red pepper, cucumber and onion. I received an untoasted bagel with brown lettuce, no cucumber, a thin slice of red pepper, tomato and regular cream cheese. I asked for extra onion and there was barely a slice on there. I understand not going heavy on veggies when you're adding meat, but if the sandwich is just vegetables you should have a decent amount as this is my meal. I basically paid $7 for a untoasted bagel. Soooo disappointing

The almond square reminded me a bit of an almond ring, with almond paste filling layered inside a flaky, tender, buttery pastry. It had that rich almond flavor without being overly sweet, and the texture was spot on. The pistachio snack cake was soft, moist, and delicately nutty--simple but really satisfying. Almost teacake-like. The cranberry orange scone brought a nice contrast with bright citrus flavor and tart cranberries throughout. It had a great crumb and just the right balance of sweetness and tang. Loved the dried orange pieces. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Definitely a spot worth stopping by if you're in the mood for excellent pastries!

My only suggestion would be to please separate the bagels a little better! An onion from an everything bagel somehow found its way onto my cinnamon raisin bagel. Puts a smile on everyone's face, I promise you! Paula's donuts are much larger than most places in town. So large, they look heavy. You don't even need to eat a whole one to reach your maximum sugar intake for the day but dang, they sure are deeeeelicious! I always pickup a honey glazed donut. If that was the only donut available in the world, I would be totally happy with that and never complain. It's perfection. Thick, fluffy, soft, sugary goodness. Go home, mic it for 10 secs and eat slowly with a tall glass of cold milk. Paula's has donut holes, a variety of donuts, the best Bavarian Crème donut, I've ever had in my life, they have some pastries, bagels, breakfast/lunch sandwiches (which I do very much enjoy) and coffee! They also have a HUGE donut that I've ordered for birthdays and the Super Bowl, you create it the way you want, put on a cute plate and serve (no one will miss the cake/cupcakes). This location has ample parking, a decent size seating/dining area, well lit with plenty of sunlight coming through the windows so you can sit and contemplate why you're eating so many donuts and how to lose weight. My friend ordered the falafel burger and Greek potatoes and he said they were great. But don't be like my friend; the potatoes are very soft and there's a crazy amount of butter in their bowl and not once, but twice, he picked one up with his fork and it broke on his lap, getting butter everywhere! So make sure you eat them right over the bowl before you ruin your pants and shirt haha I ordered the applewood smoked bacon burger. You get your choice of cheese and I think they had a good five options. I ordered it medium but I will say it was more close to well-done. It didn't bother me and also it was still very very juicy so no biggie. It was well-flavored and stacked with bacon and I nice siracha mayo, as well as the usual tomato, onion, and lettuce. From the moment you walk in the door you hear the faint sound of music and the ambiance is welcoming. I was quite impressed with the size of this place, there is plenty of room for dining inside and seating for one person or a little group. The menu is pretty straight forward and there is a display case with wonderful cakes and other treats. The drink menu is pretty simple and there appears to be a featured item on display. We placed our orders and was given a timer to await our order preparation. We grabbed a corner seat with a couch like setting and waited patiently. Drink orders consisted of Cold Pistachio Latte , iced Adeni and a brown sugar oatmilk drink on special. We decided on a pastry also. So we ordered a Cardamom knot, Red Velvet Cake and Coconut Cake. It probably took about 10 mins from being seated before we were notified. We attempted to get up to go and pick it up, but the young lady delivered our items on a tray. The drinks were absolutely delicious! The flavors were a burst in your mouth. The Pistachio Latte was phenomenal. The Brown Butter was great, but a bit on the strong side and the Adeni was delicious, the cardamom really stood out in that drink. On to the cakes ...all were delicious.. The coconut was a little dense but delicious. There were 2 layers The cardamom knot was delicious. They usually heat them and that enhances the flavor. The red velvet was wonderful, I wondered about the type of frosting. It reminded me of a whipped cream, which I'm not a fan of but the cake was delicious. This was an awesome experience. Some additional features. The restrooms were very clean and well stocked. There is a corner area where they have games to allow people to enjoy. I watched some friends play a came of chess.
