We have had a negative experience with Manager FRANK at this location twice. Very impatient and comes across so aggressively. I will not go back and now discovered the Wmsvl location. I had been craving a nice bagel and thought I would finally stop here. Good location but lousy parking. That wouldn't matter but, it wasn't a great experience. After checking the bagels out I selected an everything. The bagel was good and had the right chew but the size was disappointing. All the bagels looked smaller. I was also surprised that they don't have an olive spread. I opted for the vegetable one instead , which was good but have never seen a bagel place not have olive spread . Disappointed by the bagel with lox I got simply asking for no tomatoes and getting a lot of tomatoes. they openly lied about having the hashbrown bagel for their double stack and expected us to either not notice or care. Craving some great NY style bagels and had an appointment near here at 8 am so..... they look awesome and taste is not bad but texture was just off. Bought 1 dozen assorted flavors. Have good amount of toppings but lack that chewiness. Might try again and give another chance. Service was really good in a normal coffee shop type place. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I don't ever leave reviews unless it's really really bad and let me tell you something. We had coffees that we had been drinking and the old hag at the register told us not to bring them in in the future and we said "ok sorry we won't" then we ordered and were just waiting for the bagels and she went and told manager to have them kick us out or leave coffees outside. I couldn't help but notice that we were the only two people of color that were in the restaurant being yelled at for a nothing issue in which we said we would abide by next time (we had brought coffee into multiple places in Buffalo including this brueggers before with no issue). The reviews tanking this establishment are all true and Bagel jays, the previous owners, would be ashamed of the old racist working the register now. I think this was my first true run in with a Karen that escalated a nothing issue for no reason simply because she didn't like us? God help her soul. The actual workers making the bagels are great this is strictly and only referring to the old lady at the register and "Iris" the manager or whatever her name was that the lady at the register complained to as we were standing just waiting for bagels to go. They are lucky we recognized that the others in the restaurant wanted to enjoy their breakfast in peace (as we did) because i was close to making it a whole scene. For Buffalo the bagels are pretty decent, however the breakfast sandwiches are really bad, if you want one go to McDonald's instead. Because of this I'd recommend just getting a bagel with cream cheese instead. The lunch sandwiches aren't great either, they barely give you any meat and the quality of the meat and veggies is sub par. Oh and the "special bagel" price tiers are just a shady way to get a few extra cents out of you. What shocks me the most is that every time I come here, the woman working the register is always rude. I went there Saturday morning at 6:45am before the Toledo vs Buffalo game. Very quick service. Everyone was very nice. I'm not sure about these negative reviews. Got the whole wheat everything bagel and egg white avocado bagel. Both were amazing, soft and exactly what you expect from a New York bagel store. Don't let these negative reviews turn you off. I ordered a veggie sandwich. it was supposed to be to have a sun dried tomato cream cheese spread, lettuce, tomato, red pepper, cucumber and onion. I received an untoasted bagel with brown lettuce, no cucumber, a thin slice of red pepper, tomato and regular cream cheese. I asked for extra onion and there was barely a slice on there. I understand not going heavy on veggies when you're adding meat, but if the sandwich is just vegetables you should have a decent amount as this is my meal. I basically paid $7 for a untoasted bagel. The guy at the front counter was extremely rude to my daughter that just went in. She has been going here for a while now and will never go back. She had earned a free bagel for being a customer and when she tried to use it he was a total ass. She asked if she could have it toasted with butter and was told no I'm not such a nice way. He said it would be cold and doesn't she have butter at home? She kept me from going in and giving him an ear full. At very best, the service is leisurely. If you have lots of time to kill and want to watch as a crew takes their time, chats amongst themselves and in general ignores you it's great. Bagels are no where near as good as Bagel Brothers which is a shame. read more

I placed my order online 30 minutes prior to picking up so it would be ready. It was not and in fact they forgot about my order. They were taking orders at the location and serving people immediately which was disappointing for me to see people eating prior to me even getting my food. They were busy, but no one seemed in a hurry to get anything done. Everyone was working in slow motion. I know good workers are hard to find but you have to kick it in the gear and necessary. This might be my new go-to weekend breakfast sandwich place. Super elevated from Dunkin and more options than Spot. This place is all about the bagels but they know their customers are about the toppings and don't fight it. They have several breakfast and lunch sandwich options, and allow you to change/add whatever. It's wonderfully customizable and the whole wheat everything bagels we had were great, though I dare say a little over seasoned - turned into kind of a mess from seasoning falling everywhere. Serves me right for not eating over a plate, I guess. Anyway, the hash brown was deliciously cheesy and so warm and soft on the inside with a lightly crisped exterior. I might have liked a bit more crisp on the outside but the line of customers was out the door due to being a newly opened business, so they were really cranking the food out. Once we got our order in, our food was prepared right away so we didn't have to wait long. I'm looking forward to this place settling in in Snyder. Could definitely be a weekly spot for me while running errands. read more

Never go to Bruegger's Bagels on Main Street in Snyder, NY. I ordered online 2 dozen assorted bagels today. I picked up the box, took it home to find out there were 8 bagels missing. I called the store. I spoke to the manager who stated she could not believe it. She started to question whether it was true or not stating how do I know if you didn't eat them or you are lying. After exchanging words she stated she will have the missing bagels ready for me to pick up. When I picked up the missing bagels she stated, "here you go love". The bagels are great but the service was very poor. It took the employees two tries to make my order correct. The person at the counter could not spell my name. Not sure why it was so difficult to prepare my order, considering there were more fingers on my right hand than customers In the Snyder- location store at the time. There was very poor communication between the associates. I don't understand why it was necessary to remake my order twice before getting it right. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, lox and lettuce and tomato. It's less than what I should expect from a business that sells bagels and coffee served with garnishes and condiments at a higher price point than other area establishments. The cashier was not helpful or friendly. I asked what was in the hashbrowns and she didn't know. I asked her if she could find out because I have food allergies, so it is important to me to know if I am going to purchase a food item. She reluctantly went in the back to "ask" bt came back and said "a variety of things." this was NOT helpful and it is really sad that this employee doesn't even know what is in the products they sell at their store. It is not like this shop has a lot of different food items it is limited to about 20 or less things and most of those things are just different kinds of bagels! I gave up ans decided not to purchase the hashbrowns. I ordered my bagels to go and waited for my order. The ladies behind the counter were complaining loudly about their work schedules not being correct for them but were nice and friendly compared to the cashier. Bagels are good, cream cheese is good. Service horrible. I don't know why it's so hard for a bagel place to apply cream cheese evenly but I was the only customer in there and they still can't take 5 seconds to do it correct. I am not one for writing reviews but I was recently at this location and witnessed something so shocking. I placed my order and was waiting and happened to hear an employee refer to her coworker as "thing". I couldn't believe it! I tried to interject but was unsuccessful. the best I could do was get this persons name. Sandie. I'm not one to put others on blast but this felt warranted.
