Amazing bagels. Gotta get there early to get some of the flavors because they sell out. Only proving how delicious they are. Also recommend grabbing a breakfast sandwich while you're there. Also have drinks too. Can't wait to check out the hamburger location now too.

I adore bagel jar. I've had their bagels a few times, this was my first time stopping in for a breakfast sandwich and it did not disappoint. The proportions of the sausage egg cheese and cream cheese was perfect, the bagel was salty and delicious and perfectly toasted. They also have a great selection of teas and coffee. My husband got the tater breakfast sandwich and an Americano and he also loved both. I love that the space is bigger now that theyve expanded, no issues finding a table. Service was quick and friendly!

Went to the Hamburg location. The location is not the best parking wise, they do not have a parking lot so it's just street parking. But it was very easy to order online and just walk in and pick up the order on the shelf. The bagel itself was the best in the area, soft on the inside with a little crisp on the outside. I got the jalepeno cream cheese and it was amazing! They also load up the bagel with it so there is no shortage on any piece. Highly recommend!

Thank you for coming to Hamburg! I have picked up their bagels at the Hamburg Farmers Market but missed out frequently because they would sell out. Glad I can pick them up close by! Best bagels out there. Hamburg definitely needed a quick and casual breakfast pick up spot. With online ordering you have to try its so quick and easy. You will not be disappointed. Amazing breakfast sandwiches and coffees with homemade syrups if you want something more than a bagel.

If you have not stopped by The Bagel Jar I highly recommend it. I went this morning and my barista was amazing. I ordered an everything Bagel for $2.50,honey Maple Pecan CreamCheese for only $1.50 more and the flavor explosion that washed over my palette was to die for. The flavor of the Honey Pecan Cream cheese did not overpower the crispy salty crunch of the everything bagel. The location has a nice outside patio for sitting on better days. The inside has a nice place to relax well your enjoying your morning breakfast. The entire process from ordering to getting my bagel was under 5 minutes tops.

I absolutely loved the bagel jar! I tried a rosemary and sea salt bagel as well as a breakfast sandwich. They were both beyond amazing! The employees were so kind and helpful in choosing items on the menu. I'll definitely be back!

Read about this place, and became interested because I LOVE BAGELS!!! I happened to be in Derby one morning leaving a friends house (he was too hung over to go out for breakfast). That was my chance. The cafe interior is nice, including a bench area for people waiting for "to go" orders. They have paper menus at the counter. I was greeted quickly and pleasantly - BUT too quickly. This happens often at small eateries - being under pressure to order quickly without being able to peruse the menu. Anyway - I placed my order for an everything bagel with lox and a cold brew. About $20 (including tip). I sat down and my order took about 20 minutes to be made. I pick up the sandwich and I'm delighted to find that the "everything" is around the whole of the bagel. No one does that, and it was fantastic! The lox was super fresh and there were chopped Spanish onions and capers. Personally, I could have done without the capers because I HATE THEM. . I didn't realize they would be there. Also, I would have liked cucumber and/or tomato. Despite the caper issue - the sandwich was soooooooo good. While I was eating black bags (of bagels) were loaded into a car - ostensibly to go to retail locations? Where are those retail locations? I'd love it if they were close to the city! This place is great; I'm going back for sure!!

Ordered toasted plain with egg, sausage and provolone for my hubs - and it's the only pic i managed to take before we inhaled it down in the car in 0.5 min - ; toasted everything with cream cheese for me and a large coffee to share. The coffee could've used a tad more creamer and sugar but we didn't mind since it was HOT - seriously who likes lukewarm coffee !?! If you do, stop reading, we've diff taste pref! Breakfast sandwich was made with eggs and sausage cooked over a grill and do you see the melty cheese pull in my pic ?! - no... okay my pic taking game was off BUT! it was one of the best bagel sandwiches we've had in a lonnnnnnng time (we bcuz i stole 1/2 from my hubs) . The everything bagel with cream cheese was just as good! After devouring our brekkie i did not have that after meal OOMPPFFF heavy feeling like I just ate a blob of play dough - excellent sign what or how they're making their bagels is done right!! So it comes down to a few things: 1) bagels were coming out fresh from the back 2) no extra fluff - besides coffee and bagels you're not gonna find baked goodies 3) real ingredients cooked the right way - i seriously hate places that microwave/toaster cook eggs/breakfast meat for breakfast sandwiches (not gonna name places so iykyk) And this is why The Bagel Jar is saved in my *hands down must go-to if you hafta eat outside* yelpie folder ... my lack of reviews (for those who care about reading my 2 cents) is due to my aversion of eating out and being disappointed so if i'm flexing my fingers and typing this... yep, it's you should go give it :) side note: friendly service, it's a small place but they get their job done and done right. No sit down area so come smell the aroma of fresh bagels, and order (or pre order for pick up) your food and get going friends!

Definitely the best bagels I've had since years ago in New York City. Outside they are just the right amount of chewy with a soft, moist interior. Ate one on the car, couldn't wait. It was probably around 9:45am when we entered. I noticed that there were a few varieties of bagels in the wire bins and I proceeded to order a cinnamon raisin and an everything bagel. I was told in a completely condescending manner that the two everything bagels were needed for an online order. I said well I'm an in-person paying customer and you're taking my order right now, can't you give me one of those? She said no in a rude and nasty tone. The other employee asked the baker when other batch of everything bagels would be ready and she said 10 minutes. So I asked, why can't you wait or why wouldn't you wait for the bagels that were to be done in 10 minutes to fulfill the online order, which mind you I saw written on the brown paper bag in black marker was for 10am pickup?!?! Again, in a derogatory tone and manner she told me no! She never apologized, never offered any alternative to the solution and was completely out of line and refused to sell me an everything bagel. Not sure if she just woke up late (her appearance was quite messy, disheveled, and scantily clad) and rolled out of bed on the wrong side of the bed or if this is her pessimistic attitude all the time!?!? No customer should EVER be treated in that manner and I'm completely appalled! Needless to say, I paid for my one cinnamon raisin bagel and grabbed my bag and left. She made a snide comment to me as I was walking away under her breath. We visited a couple other businesses on that floor and walked by on the way out and she was loudly talking about my friend and I. SMH! Unreal! LOL! I'm glad I was the highlight and topic of her conversation all morning! So unprofessional and completely unnecessary! Needless to say, I WILL NOT be returning and it's too bad because I do think their bagels are top notch!
