Unassuming from the outside, you walk and few at home in Ireland. Well, maybe a cousin of a cousin but it's a cool place. An awesome variety of beers, ambers, lagers, ciders, mixed drinks and so on. If your looking for a comfortable watering hole, look no further! Excellent staff with professional knowledge and happy atmosphere! Check it out. By the way, the food looks really good. We should have waited to eat dinner! By the way, try one of the smoothies! They're healthy with a dash of booze!!!

I have waited 14 years for a place like this in Greeley. It's definitly a local or as the Berliners would say a kneipe.

Do they serve food?

We don't have a kitchen so just locally made cookies, beef jerky and other snacks. Feel free to bring your own though or order up to the pub. In the summer often we have a fish and chips truck that pulls up for lunch and dinner - see fb for updates

The location is great- right across the street from the Ice Haus, a block down from the Kress, and right in the middle of downtown Greeley.

My only recommendation for next year is to try and locate the outside tent band where there is more stable parking lot to dance. There were a lot of broken Asphalt areas, pot holes, uneven concrete, and tricky downslopes which made the dance area quite treacherous. There were a lot of people trying to dance around these hazards so not a safe situation. I saw one guy trying to do an Irish Jig and he fell into one of the pot holes and was slow to get up. I would hate to see somebody get injured and sue Clancy's. Looking forward to St Pats - 2027 at Clancy's.

Most of the staff know up by site, if not by name, and they are usually a fun and friendly group. My regular drink order is a Car Bomb and a Jameson and Ginger, single, short with a lime. My food order varies, but I do love their fries, and their ranch dressing ain't bad either. The Falafel Wrap is really good for an Irish place. The Grilled Cheese is phenomenal, even without the bacon. The Beer Cheese soup is also excellent without the bacon, actually. They also have White Bean Chili that is vegetarian (vegan possible), which I have tried but found too spicy for my taste. They also have Seitan Wings... I love them and get them often, but they are more like seitan nuggets than wings. Easier to eat though IMO. Chad's had many of the meatier fare, but he'd have to tell his own story on that subject. For dessert, the Bread Pudding is to DIE for! Thankfully, it's also quite filling, so I rarely end up eating it all. If you love 'Pub Vibes', definitely check this place out! If you aren't into a noisy bar/pub atmosphere, probably don't come here on a weekend or most weeknights. With the lively chatter and sometimes live music, it lives up to the Irish Pub name!

As you'd expect, they were busy, but we ordered some Smithwycks at the bar and found a spot outside on a nice night. An hour or so later, I made my way back to the bar to get a second round. The bartender, Tierney, remembered my name, which surprised me considering how busy they were. I got the beers and moved back outside. An hour or so later, Tierney came out to check on us and others on the patio, and we chatted for a minute or two. Nice guy...very friendly, and the ability to make you feel welcome without ignoring anyone else. Too bad more bar/beertenders can't be like that these days. I'll definitely be back.

The bartenders were friendly but rushed but I could hardly be upset about that since the was packed. We couldn't really find a place to sit so we had to stand at a table in the parking lot. Something many people had to resort to. The live Irish step dancers were wonderful and a joy to watch. The entire place is very friendly feelings and very Irish. We had a great time but will have to come back when it's not so busy to get a better feel for the place. The drinks were reasonably priced and the man at the door checking IDs and giving out the green bracelets was professional and polite. All in all, even as busy as it was, we still enjoyed ourselves.

The fish and chips did look good although I can't comment on the taste. A friend had the London style curry which was fascinating. My wife had the dubliner sandwich which was packed with meat and the option for sweet potato fries (always a win IMO). I had a lunch special they were offering - a Caprese Tuna. I am a sucker for seafood (grew up on the east coast) and felt like this place was worth taking the chance- and I am so glad I did! This was such a beautiful cut of tuna atop burrata and tomatoes with just the right amount of focaccia for the base; drizzled in balsamic with grape halves and it was all perfectly portioned together. It was actually quite beautifully plated, too, but I sadly did not take any pictures (I was eager to eat). My dish also came with a side soup or salad - I had the tomato basil soup which was well flavored but needed more than one half slice of bread to enjoy it in its entirety. Its flavor didn't go with the main dish at all but that's what I chose so can't blame anyone but myself. Didn't have any drinks at this particular outing but had some good looking cocktails on the menu. Service was pleasant and timely, no complaints. Overall would be happy to dine here again if back on that side of town!

So slow that it might have been the worst I've ever seen. Eventually, another waiter did show up who hustled to get everyone caught up. It took roughly 40 minutes for us to get our drinks, and another 40 minutes to get our food. The food itself was good, except for the prime rib, which was very lackluster and bland. The burger was cooked to perfection, and the fish and chips, as always, were amazing. I hope that next time, the service is better and quicker. Hopefully, this was just a one-off blunder and not a sign of things to come.

And honestly, they kind of do -- the dog‑friendly culture here is unmatched and adds so much joy to the experience. I showed up asking to taste a porter that sounded good on the website. The guy at the bar said, "Oh, we haven't had that one in months." Seems like updating a website to accurately show what you've got on tap shouldn't be that difficult. Another odd thing is that they routinely run out of beers on tap, so your only option is to get it in a can. That's what my wife had to do with her Java Good Day this time. This happened to me last time with my Cool Boomer. I mean, I get it, but beer just tastes better from the tap. Both of our beers were fine, but neither blew us away. Only a few other people were in on a Saturday afternoon, which was surprising considering the number of people in the area. It's a real laid back vibe, which I can appreciate, but kind of a sad overall atmosphere. Not sure we'll be in a big rush to give them another try.
