This toasted sub shop is doing a lot of things right. It is obviously doing a lot of play on words relating to stoner culture but some of it it quite funny and they are not taking it too seriously. The employee working the register was so friendly and inviting (I missed your name) She gave us several suggestions and told us we were her favorite type of people when we said it was our first time in. We let her know we were visiting and she was awesome about letting us know her favorites. Great customer service! The food was nice and tasty. It didn't take too long to come out. I had the Dorito type nachos to start and a veggie sub. They offer a nice mix of meat and veggie subs and the one I went with had a nice kick because of the jalapeño hummus. Yum! The Dorito chips had a nice layer of cooked cheese on top. I also envy the ranch and jalapeños in the mix. The cost is reasonable and they play a variety of music from Beyoncé to rock. It was really slow for her so while I was drinking, she started doing cleaning and scrubbing the bar area and mopping the bathrooms and the bar area. Fresh bread, hot sandwiches, excellent options, and substitutions are okay, vegetarian options, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff... what more could you ask for? Did I mention the full bar and craft beer selection? Yeah, that, too. And really tippy décor to top off the vibe! This place is great. You really can't go wrong here unless it's closed. I have always loved Cheba hut as never had a bad experience till today. Ordered a KGB with extra bacon even had to pay for it and I only got two slices of bacon. I ordered it online it was ready when I got there but even the staff weren't very welcoming! I had one lady staring at me it was weird and the guy who gave me my order handed me the bad and I said thank you and he just turned and walked away! The food really hit the spot. My only negative is this...location is in a weird spot, it's not getting the attention that it could get. One Star. If I could give zero stars, I would. My girlfriend and I, both 21 and legal for months, went to Cheba expecting a chill time with a drink or two. Instead, we were treated like we walked into a high school party with fake IDs. Despite providing legit, valid identification, they refused to serve us alcohol. Seriously? We're both well past 21. To top it off, we called to clarify what the hell was going on, and Manuel was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. This place doesn't deserve your business if they're going to treat their customers like they're pulling a fast one. Absolute joke of an establishment. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere that actually respects their patrons and their legal rights. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated like a criminal for wanting a drink. read more

This place is great! The staff members are so friendly and the environment is very chill. From looking around I noticed a lot of 420 decor design, which is quite funny. I do not smoke by this place is definitely a paradise for someone who has the munchies. I ordered the white widow which was highly recommended by my sisters. I got it with garlic bread. It was so good. I gobbled it up so quick that I forgot to take a picture. I told the young lady who took my order that I was visiting from CA so she gave me some stickers, which I thought was so nice of her. Parking in the front is very limited so you will likely have to park in the street or in the back parking lot. The only thing about this place that I didn't care for is that they serve Pepsi instead of Coke. Otherwise I highly recommend this place. read more
