Us two and another couple at the bar plus one couple on the floor. We ordered a baked appetizer and drinks. Wife had wine, I had a shot of Crown and water. The food order was late poorly baked and flavorless. One bartender and one server/baker. 28 minutes later we got the food. The bill was the problem and we should have sent the food back to get a little crisper. Mush food, medium wine cost but the SHOT was charged at $ 8. 25, whaaaat? Go there once but drink water and wine the Alcohol must be mixed with gold. Need employees that care for their employment. read more

Usually get good service at Bulldog Pub, but today was not the best service. The bartender/waitress was slow (forgot my beer) and non-welcoming. Had to get her attention to bring my beer and didn't get food order straight. The only time she came back to the table was to bring our check. Bulldog Deli. If you're going to claim (Deli) status you should have the basics down. I ordered the Ruben on rye with potato salad. The layer of Thousand Island dressing was thicker than the layer of pastrami. I counted (6) "wafer thin" slices of meat. I wish I could tell you the pastrami was tasty, but couldn't really taste it. And...the rye bread was over toasted. Wife had french dip. Same meat portion. She said it was tasty though. Tater salad was ok, but WAY over priced for the size. Neat place. Friendly people. I've been coming here for a while now, and there is no question Covid sucked. They did their best to accommodate everyone, including the employees. Things are back open again and I come here almost daily (a benefit from working from home which is a 10 min walk.) and the quality and taste of the food has not changed. (This means they never cut back on the quality of their ingredients to cut costs during the lock down.) There are many items on the menu I have yet to try as I am a pizza guy and theirs is THE.BEST. As I'm writing this review, the owner is taking orders, helping the bartender and even interacting with the kids that want to see all the Star Wars stuff that is all over the place. :) This has always reminds me of the small pubs back home where community is key and people really do "know your name.". Pizza was amazing. They make the dough the night before. Brisket nachos were ok needed more brisket. My son loved his bacon sensation pizza. Ok- so when walking in, and if you're a movie NUT, you will immediately feel overwhelmed! There is so much cool stuff to look at!! As a retired military member, there is plenty of representation for the Navy and Marines as well as to fire and police services! One could spend a couple hours looking at everything! Ok, aside from that, the staff was very friendly and professional! The menu is very straight forward and simple. That is truly awesome!! We ordered the personal pizza (bbq chicken & pepperoni), and an Italian sandwich. Prices a very reasonable and the food very good!! If we lived here, this would be one of our "go to" places! It's hard finding restaurants that have gluten free options. I saw on the gluten free app this pub offered gluten free sandwiches but the reviews were a year old. I decided to call just to be sure, I spoke to a nice man who assured me I could eat there. We decided to head on over. Parking was easy and restaurant was pretty empty. We were greeted right away and i explained I called ahead. He remembered me right away and explained they had gluten free flatbread. He had just cleaned down the area. I ordered a turkey sandwich and hubby got the French dip. The fiat bread sandwich was delicious. Hubby said the French dip and his beer was great. No clue why restaurant was so empty. We are always looking for new places to try. Based on the ratings we tried Bulldog. Bottom line, we were unimpressed. First of all, it was expensive. $52 for a sandwich, two side salads, Ceasar salad, pizza and two soft drinks, with 18%tip. The side salad was comically small. Basically in a soup cup. $3 each. Ridiculously priced. The pizza was the best item. I had a Buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken was similar to the quality of what you would get at Subway. Sorry, but we won't be back. Not my job to reach out to the staff and tell them their product is bad/overpriced. read more

First time visiting Bulldog Deli. Ordered a sandwich so I can't comment on the pizza. Went during lunch and was one of the only people there, which was nice. My club sandwich was a good size and had good flavors. While I think the prices are a wee bit high, I understand it for a local place that is just getting established. The customer service was good and I enjoyed the decor. I will probably come back if I have a few extra bucks to spare on lunch. Keep up the good work, Bulldog. I'll try the pizza next time. Returned for my 4th time. I'm really liking it. Their sandwiches are different and delicious. My cashier mistakenly charged me for a regular sandwich when I ordered a large. I asked to pay the difference and she waved it off as her mistake. Now that's customer service! I will return. read more

Food: 1/5 Price: 4/5 (about what I'd expect, save the quality did not match the price). Location: 1/5 small parking lot was difficult to get in and out of. Responsiveness of owner/manager to shoddy review: 5/5 Ok. First impression was great! All sorts of nerd stuffs plastered everywhere. Marvel, DC, Star Wars, etc... at first glance, I'm in nerd-nirvana. Music playing is reminiscent of the stuff I listened to in High School oh-so-many years ago. Choices are order food then sit or get a brew and order from the bar. Ok, odd, but ok. Except that the bar maid seems more interested in talking smack and drinking with regular patrons than making a good impression on a couple of new faces that came strolling in. Beer selection is quite limited with only 10 beers on tap. With the pictures/description elsewhere on yelp, I expected more... and a wider set of choices. Beer order was placed before two regular customers ordered shots. Bar maid poured a round of shots for them, and participated in the round of shots before serving in turn. To be completely honest, I'm not completely convinced that the staff wasn't high or drunk (or both) prior to my arrival shortly before 8pm. Once the food order was placed, it was fully evident that the waitress/bartender wasn't in full control of her faculties as she had difficulty writing. Then enter the kitchen staff. I realize that I'm at a bar, but the language choices of the kitchen staff and the bar maid yelling back and forth was enough to make any sailor blush. The overall service of the place was abysmal at best. There are 2 primary reasons for the 1-star rating. The first being that Yelp still has yet to allow for a 0-star rating, and the second being the decor. It fancied my inner nerd. (See edit below) The quality of the food was not in any way commensurate with the price. I got the impression that (including staff), myself and the person with whom I was dining were the only sober individuals in the building. First and last time that I will darken this establishment's doorway. Edit: After re-reading this review, prompted by the owner commenting, I will digress that perhaps I was a little harsh in my review. I have increased the star rating from 1 to 3 stars. Mainly because the owner not trying to make excuses and stating that he will tackle the apparent problem head on, and apologizing for the behavior of the staff. Brandon: I travel for my job (all up and down the midwest), and seldom find myself in the Greeley area. I appreciate your prompt response to my review, and have adjusted the rating accordingly. I will not be coming back to your establishment however, but not for the reasons listed in the original review. Before reading your response, it was because of the experience I had in your pub. Now, this decision is based mostly on the gypsy nature of my job, and when I do come back to the area, there are many other places to experience for a place I rarely visit. Great service. All of the servers are very attentive and friendly. Bar tenders bring drinks to your table which is great and limits time standing at the bar. Good selection of local beers. The pizza was top notch and everything was at reasonable prices. read more

Just ate at Bulldog. Have not been there for 3-5 years because it wasn't very good. Well it is even worse. Staff was nice and they got the 2 stars. Pizza was also prepared correctly except the crust was extremely tough and burned. Won't be goin back. Good luck. read more

Zack, instead of responding negatively to reviews you don't like or are honest but critical of your restaurant, stop and think about the additional damage you are doing to your small business by being immature and unprofessional.. Bottom line, serve a better product than I can get anywhere else, be cleaner and have a more friendly well trained staff than the other guys. Mediocre sandwiches and mediocre pizza in a mediocre atmosphere doesn't make you special. When I ate your food delivered by DoorDash, the hogue style bun was dry, not toasted, the meat was sparse and not much flavor. My son said the pizza was not much different than frozen from a box. The salad was very basic, like you opened a bag of grocery store salad and dumped it in a bowl. You need to use higher quality ingredients in my opinion. Nothing seemed fresh prepared, it all seemed like it was pre made Sysco produced food that is just put on a plate and served as if it was high quality scratch made, but it sure doesn't taste scratch made. If your target customer is students from UH or baseball teams from next door, average quick food is probably good enough. But if you want to be a destination pick, that people will remember and go out of their way to get to you need to do better. I am sorry you don't like my honest opinion, if my review was a one off then people would ignore, but there are other reviews similar. I think is overpriced for what you get. The meatball sandwich was probably the worst I've had. The sauce was watery which made for soggy bread. Wasn't even that warm. The club is a sorry excuse for a club. Very thin. And only 2 pieces of precooked bacon. I've never seen so little bacon on a sandwich. I paid $26 for 2 sandwich(small) 2 chips and 2 drinks. Not impressed at all. Jimmy john's club is even better. This place is really close to my house so I was hoping it would be great. Definitely not. Save your time and make a sandwich at home. I am Giving it 2 stars because. It seems like it's made with fresh ingredients. We won't be going back:/ read more

This is a great little spot! Great interior decor complete with a LEGO Millennium Falcon in the entryway. We ordered the turkey club sandwich with chipotle, and a 10 inch personal pizza. Both were very good, quality ingredients and assembled with care. The pizza really shined through for us, the sauce was great and the dough was clearly homemade. Additionally, even though she was busy with the guests, the hostess was friendly and quick. Couldn't ask for a better experience! read more

This is a delayed review... but well deserved! Awesome customer service. I sent an order for my coworkers in the ICU during their nightshift. In my order I asked to write them a "happy Valentine's Day" note. They not only wrote the note for me, they took the time to print it out, make it super colorful, and even left a happy v-day to my coworkers from the bulldogs crew.
