Seated promptly BUT the table had NOT BEEN PROPERLY CLEANED. My spot was incredibly sticky. Got it on the menu, my phone, my hands. Disgusting! Tried to get staff attention without success so stepped into the men's room to grab wet and dry towels to clean up myself. Ugh. Samuel eventually appeared and we ordered drinks for ourselves while waiting for our son and daughter in law. Great beer choices for me - JuicyBits. Decent wine choices. Our daughter in law arrived, ordered a nice red, and she split a Reuben Sandwich with my wife. Both sandwich and fries were very good. I'd ordered the Penne Ala Vodka with shrimp. The Shrimp were very nicely done as they're frequently overcooked and tough. But the penne and sauce were only meh. Bit of a disappointment as I've definitely had (and personally made) better. One of our favorite restaurants. Great food, excellent atmosphere and good views. Very friendly staff.

We are new to the area and tried Hearth for the first time this past Saturday. My daughter ordered a veggie burger and Fries. Her veggie burger was bland and her fries were very greasy and soggy. Her strawberry margarita was quite delicious though. I had the Brussel sprouts with Hollandaise sauce. The sprouts were delicious...some of the best I have ever had. My only issue was the bland hollandaise sauce. It lacked the acidity and seasoning that I like...I also had the New England clam chowder which was meh...and it was luke warm. Clam chowder is generally made with cream and I am not sure if there was even dairy in it at all. It didn't taste like clam chowder to me and there was not much flavor to it. I also had the burrata caprese and that was quite nice. My husband had the Godfather pizza and that was delicious. The sauce was perfectly seasoned and the meats were delish and reminiscent of a real New York pizza. All in all, the service is good, the ambiance is nice but the food is meh. We would go again to try other things but, my daughter was so disappointed that she doesn't want to go again. Prices are decent for what you get. Not the best place we have been to since moving to Severance in March. read more

I had the worst pizza I've had in a long time. It had no sauce and no cheese and very few toppings. Even though two kinds of cheese, sauce and toppings were printed on the menu that were not on the pizza. When we complained no offer to fix it or compensate us was offered. They are known for great pizza but the rest of the menu goes just as hard....so try something out of the ordinary! That said, pizza is outstanding. Their gluten free crust is unrivaled for those living GF. Regular crust is epic too...just the right amount of chew. Nice views of the lake and appealing location near the Windsor Mill building. They also have patio seating that is worth the wait when the weather is even remotely nice. Service is hit or miss. We've had A+ hospitality but occasionally a B-. Never colossally bad...but sometimes a bit less attentive than desired. Still this is one of the very best restaurants in Windsor and worth the drive from other points in NoCo. read more

We've been here thee times over that last couple of years and each time is worse. We went recently, sat at the bar and had drinks and pizza. It was 10 min before the bar tender even acknowledged us. No water offered or served. Her behavior was as if she was doing us a favor serving us. When we finally got our drinks they were both lacking decent flavor. My Manhattan was mediocre and my wife's cucumber special was barely drinkable. We ordered two gluten free pizzas. One was the special of the day and one was a house special. The daily special was so overcooked the bacon was basically dust. And to top it off, two pizzas and two cocktails was o we $100 before the tip. Sadly, because it is a convenient and nice location, this is the last time we'll visit this place unless it changes hands. I have been going to Hearth for years and have loved the environment, service, food and even the prices. However the past few times we have gone, the food is no longer as good as it used to be and service is horrendous. Last night we order two hamburgers with fries. Both hamburgers came out wrong and under cooked. We both had around 20 fries on our plates and the waitress never once looked at us or spoke, besides taking our order. She was focused on entering our order that she never looked up at us. It's very unfortunate because Hearth was my favorite restaurant in NOCO, and now I'd rather drive from Windsor to Fort Collins, than eat at Hearth. Such a disappointment. read more

Soooo, I haven't actually had any of the food but I came here for their Saturday Happy Hour and the bar staff is incredibly knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on drinks. While it is a small space there never seems to be an empty seat. I look forward to trying their brick oven pizza and I heard from a few other customers that their Scottish Salmon Mignon is worth the wait. Will definitely be back! read more

We really love this place, BUT EVERYTIME we come (always 4 and a baby) so we prefer a booth....and the front hosts whine about it...saying we don't have enough people. And, we're always here around 4-430p. So not crowded. When they relent, they make us feel like we're getting a big favor - today all three booths were open and we will only be here for an hour to an hour/half. Such a turn off and so unnecessary.... For being such a high ceiling, open space it is surprisingly NOT loud, even when full. The patio has stunning views of the lake, too cold for us tonight for it to be opened. The only bummer, was my drink unfortunately had very little flavor and seemed rather watered down. Our food, was delicious!!! The variety of textures and flavors in each dish, kept us eating almost past the full point! My husband did stop and take the rest of his pork home. I had thought, for some reason, it was spätzle and walnuts with braised cabbage. Not to critique a chef, that I am NOT, but walnuts would be a wonderful added crunchy texture! I wanted to lick my plate after my roast chicken was gone. Creamy and cheesy grits, brussel sprouts and crispy bacon accompanying a perfectly roasted half chicken...get this, with only ONE bone! Headed to Hearth after a friends wedding prep. We sat outside on the deck. The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating inside as well as outside. Nice bar area to sit in as well. Our table ordered a pasta ala vodka, a very good pizza, fish and chips, burger and the horseradish encrusted salmon dish. They were all plated beautifully and were very generous portions. The pizza is wood fired and had great , crusty bubbly ( a favorite part of pizza for me) crust. We also ordered the meatball appetizer... great marinara. The shishito peppers and a few deviled eggs. All were very tasty. The whisky peach cocktail is delicious and I'd like another one now... lol! Great beer and cocktail choices. Great place to meet up with friends or just a nice dinner with family. Prices are as expected for a nice meal. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. The Tomato Bisque is incredible; rich and flavorful; The Pizza Margherita had a thin and tasty crust and just the right amount of topping; and the gnocchi had a perfect texture and was seasoned beautifully. I want to start by saying this is a great restaurant. The views of Windsor Lake are great, the service is great, and the food and drinks are always delicious. I'm giving it 4 stars because there have been a couple times we have found a piece of plastic or plastic wrap in our food. They have always made it right and apologize, but it's something that should really not happen more than once to a customer. I still recommend going here- especially on a cold day for a bowl of soup and a drink. I'm sure you can't have the luck we've had with the mishaps. read more

Server was friendly and helpful. Food service was horrible we waited almost 45 mins for a burger and Beretta. Busy? No it was 3:30 on a Thursday only 3 other full tables in the whole restaurant. The Beretta was mostly arugala with cherry tomatoes. The cheese and pita bread ok. Noticed another able of 4, their food did not come to the table altogether. Pizza served to one, long before the second person got their food. Another 10 wait at least for the last two were served again NOT BUSY! Burger was ok but fries limp! At least it was quiet. My host raved about this place, so we went there for a particular dish that she craved. They ran out of the dish long before we ever arrived for our dinner reservation. Also, our wait person repeatedly disappeared, and we watched people seated after us being served their orders. I eventually approached the podium where seating was managed and asked about the absence of our waiter. The staff there immediately named the person who was assigned our table. Great second-story location overlooking Windsor lake - what a view! We were really hoping to sit on the patio, but it got pretty windy. So we waited for a table inside and went to the bar to grab drinks. They have a great selection of about 6 local draft beers. I was really excited to see Maxline's raspberry basil saison on tap! We got the Godfather pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, polidori sausage, and capicola ham. It was absolutely delicious! I would say their pizzas are big enough to feed 3-4 people. We brought some of ours home and it was just as good the next day. They have a pasta of the day which is pretty cool, I think it's listed in the appetizers section so it might not be a full meal. But I opted for a pasta dish from the entree section - the Shrimp Penne ala Vodka with a tomato cream sauce. I finished the whole thing because it was so good. And I am usually one to always have leftovers to take home. We had wine with dinner, the 75 Wine Co Cabernet Sauvignon and the Ferrari-camara red blend, neither of which we have had before, but we enjoyed them. Great location. 2nd floor of downtown Windsor. Lake views. Amazing design. I love the brick with the hardwood floors. There is a clear garage door that opens up when the weather is nice. Fabulous ambiance. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the tomato soup with 1/2 grill cheese option. It was the perfect lunch on a cold, windy day. Can you believe that combo was only $9?! Amazing! We ordered for takeout awhile back as I had just had a baby three days ago so we did our first family gathering and we're hoping to quickly grab something to get back to the kiddos in time. The staff was nothing but pleasant when we arrived however our order was supposed to be ready at 7:30, which is when we arrived, and we didn't end up leaving with the food until 10 after 8pm. I completely understand the state of the industry right now and have patience with staff shortages, etc. but from the several things on the menu that were unavailable that we were told about after we signed the receipt, to the 40-minute wait as we watched people sit down after us and get their food, to the lack of transparency in letting us know a time estimate on when we may get our order, all of it was upsetting. I ended up going up after waiting 40 minutes to ask when it would be ready and the food had been sitting out ready and they had forgotten so everything was freezing cold when we got home. We typically have a very good experience and enjoy the food at Hearth but this time around was upsetting and expensive. read more

I visited with my parents recently and they sat in the deck overlooking the lake .... They loved the view and the food. My mom loved the margarita and my dad had a beer, I had a mule. Drinks were tasty. We had a few appetizers: the pork rinds are home made with a special hot sauce, the jumbo shrimp was meaty and the meatballs were great.
