We had a fantastic lunch with my parents. The food was excellent and staff helpful and attentive.

I remember CBP from my old college days at Colorado State. This is not the original location, but it's the only one remaining and it's a good one! It's on the south side of Ft. Collins. It seems to act as a clubhouse of sorts for the Collindale golf course. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. The quality is good. The french fries are perfect! You'll love whatever you order here! I had fish and chips because that was the special on the day I was there. Loved it! Perfect!! My dad and his friends had burgers. High five reviews from both of them. This is a great place to meet someone for lunch or a casual dinner. It's a pretty big place. Looks like they can handle large groups for special occasions. My dad is 93 and there was no easy way to get him up the stairs. I was really surprised that it's not very accessible for those with limited mobility. Maybe there's another entrance for that, if so, it's not near the handicapped parking. Just be aware of that if you are with someone with limited mobility. One star off for that. We've gone here off and for number of years, but recently (last two-ish years), they have gotten much better. The menu is simple, but everything we've had has be very good. They have the best fish and chips in town, along with some very good burgers. Others in my family enjoy the Birdie sandwich, and we all have liked the Monte Cristo. The service is always friendly, and on a nice day it is great to sit out on the patio and watch the golfers or look toward the mountains. read more

One of the sandwiches I've ever had! I ordered the brisket sandwich it was simply phenomenal! Start with bread. I'm not sure where they get it or how they toast it but it was perfect. When you first walk into the place, you are greeted by a large shark hanging from the ceiling which is covered with pine wood slates. There's a large fireplace giving the place the feel of an outdated lodge. The bar is unappealing looking and would be easy to miss because it is dark and has no personality. There is a large sign above the bar that says "Order Here." The place looks outdated and a bit tired. There are booths around the windows but the booths are not spaced so everyone at a table can look out on the golf course. When we walked in, there were several parties at tables but the place was not too busy. There was a sign propped up on the side of the hostess station that said to seat yourself but given that it was not displayed toward customers nor was it on the paint easel that was there and looked to be what a sign would be place on, we weren't sure if we could seat ourselves. We noticed several workers walking around too but none seemed to notice us. With the COVID 19 we find it rare now that restaurants have open seating. After standing and waiting for a few minutes with no one acknowledging us, we went to the bar and asked and were told we could sit anywhere. We were given menus and chose a booth by the window. The menu is very limited but we found items to try. After waiting 10 minutes or so and having had no service, we figured maybe we had to order from the bar but as we were getting ready to get up and order, a server came over and took our order. We had the happy hour nachos which was a large serving size. We could have just had that and been fine. I ordered the Birdie and my dining partner had the chili burger. We had to take those to go because we were too full from the nachos. I ate my sandwich the next day and it was tasty. Our food was cooked and seasoned well. The ingredients were very fresh and the serving sizes were large. Our service while very friendly was very unorganized and slow. We had a couple minor mistakes like my dining partner ordered a rootbeer with no ice. The rootbeer came in a glass with ice and the rootbeer was flat. The salad had the wrong type of salad dressing. Minor things but it showed a lack of organization and attention to detail. There were plenty of servers but no one seemed to really know what was going on. While the staff wore masks, one was not wearing hers properly as she had it below her nose. There was not proper social distancing of the tables. The service had a lot of room for improvement and organization. They can improve their COVID 19 practices. read more

I've had decent service here in the past...food is average at best. But recently the service has turned angry at the bar. Tables are much much better where servers are younger and in a better head place. Today I tried to order a sandwich and the bartender was short and condescending.... Just not a nice person. She acted like I was an inconvenience....turned quickly waking away. Just odd. The chicken sandwich I ordered was without mayonnaise, replaced with mustard. Simple...she made a big production telling me that she special ordered it vs to on the side. Then the sandwich came with mayonnaise...I paid and walked out. I am in town visiting and chose this place because they allow dogs on the lower patio. I wanted to try their green Chile burger and it was amazing. The fries were good too, the battered kind with a meaty center. My dog enjoyed watching and they brought her a bowl of water. Mellisa L. was a great server! An okay place! Loved sitting out in the outdoor seating area on a beautiful day with friends. Had a super yummy cocktail too! I had a cheeseburger and fries. Asked for the burger medium and it was very very pink inside. I didn't want to be that person to send it back so I ate it but wasn't too thrilled about it. The fries were good, and my friend had the huge pretzel. It was good but served with cheese that was cold.. um what? Maybe we'll come back again and try some other cuisine that will be better? read more

Ordered delivery and was shocked (in the best way) at how much food we got. I ordered nachos without olives and they did not disappoint. The salsa has a smokey flavor & the guac tasted fresh and perfect. The nachos could easily be shared with 4 people. My boyfriend got the Final Fore burger and he devoured it within minutes it was so good. Plus their fries were perfect even when delivered. They didn't arrive soggy or cold, instead they still had a perfect crisp on the outside and stayed nice and warm on their paper bag. Ordered the daily special directly off the menu, no changes were requested, but when I pointed out that steak smothered in mushrooms that I ordered was not smothered in mushrooms but topped with an onion ring instead, the server asked me if I wanted to send the onion ring back. I told that what I wanted was the sautéed mushrooms that were supposed be there; I even showed her what the menu said. She brought the 'rooms but then tried to charge extra for them. It took about 30 minutes to get the bill straightened out, the bartender finally comped the meal, which is the least they could've done considering how much time was wasted haggling over their mistake. The server stomped off in a snit over the meal being comped. Again, I ordered the daily special straight off the printed menu with no changes requested. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were in with friends for a few drinks, our server was amazing. However, after our server was done with her shift we moved inside to be served by the bartender, her name was Grayson. My boyfriend offered to buy one round of shots after Grayson "auctioned" a tab off that another person in our party was paying for. She said "it's his birthday he shouldn't be paying for all of this", even though he was the one that ordered everything on the tab, but my boyfriend offered to pay for 1 round of shots anyway. He was charged over 100 dollars... that was half of the entire tab. We knew that there was no way that 1 round was 101 dollars. However, we payed the tab and were obviously displeased that we were over charged. As we were discussing the tab Grayson overheard our conversation and began talking vulgarly about us. As we were leaving the restaurant Grayson started sarcastically "blowing kisses" at us... I have never in my career of working in the industry seen or had that kind of disrespect from a staff member. We were over charged and completely disrespected by a staff member. Grayson was the most disrespectful bartender I have ever encountered.. read more

Apparently it has been several years since my family and I have been here. I didn't remember the place at all but I'm glad we came back. I got to try my families food and everything was sub par to really tasty. My dish which was the pulled pork tacos was really good I would get that again. I thought the fish and chips were really good too but its also really greasy so not sure if they can change that but it would be nicer. I also really liked their pretzel sticks with cheese sauce. The cheese sauce is pretty addicting (lol), so I would get that again too! Definitely will return! read more

So disappointed with this place. My mother inlaw booked her retirement party here and they have moved her reserved area multiple times. Now the area she's assigned only seats half the amount of guests she's expecting. They have been completely rude toward her and are leaving her to find other arrangements at the last minute. Don't waste your time hosting large gatherings here, they will not accommodate what they initially promise and will blow you off at every opportunity. read more

My family frequents.. er.. used to frequent this place for breakfast. As of today, we will not be back! When I first heard of the new ordering system (having to order at a counter before you sit instead of being seated and waited on), we decided that if the bar top was full, we would walk out. Luckily that never ended up having to happen.. But the straw that broke the camel's back was when I was told I could only order scrambled eggs with my "classic breakfast". Apparently their kitchen staff is incapable of flipping an egg/company is "cutting costs". If I can't sit down and be waited on or have my eggs cooked to order, then I won't be returning. Eggs are not where you costs should be cut. They are not that big of an expense. Not to mention the absurdity of opening at 7am daily and not even offering breakfast unless it's the weekend. This is a golf course. I expect better than a crappy fast food experience. For the prices they charge for their food, you'd think that you'd get more than a glorified McDonald's. read more

While I enjoy all of the CB & Potts locations I have visited, the Horsetooth location is far and away the best. The staff including Mackenzie, Alyssa and Holly are efficient and friendly, and the management, consisting of Erika, Ryan and Kim go above and beyond to ensure each patrons experience exceeds expectations. I truly cannot say enough about the positive experiences I have had at this location. I would STRONGLY recommend it to anyone looking for a restaurant that serves delicious food and quality beverages. 14 out of 10. read more

Nice selection of craft brews in a very reasonably priced sampler ($5 for 6 samples). We had no complaints about any of the beers, just about the way they were served. On the restaurant's patio, the tables are latticed metal, so the little glasses stuck through a ram's-horn shaped "curl" holder simply tipped over very easily! They need to develop a big coaster or something to set them on outside! The food was pretty good. The Reuben my husband had was delicious and HUGE. Definitely two meals. My hamburger, the restaurant's special with Gorgonzola and bacon and a jam, was good but a bit more sweet than I expected (some more Gorgonzola to balance the sweetness would be good, for my taste). Also, the bacon was undercooked. We also had a great appetizer of pretzel sticks and beer cheese dip. It was Southwestern style dip, whereas I might prefer a traditional style with pretzels. Went well with the tortilla chips, though. For as inexpensive as the beers were, the food prices seemed a little high. read more

Went today for lunch on the patio and got the "Par For the Course" salad. Some of the chicken pieces in the salad were stuck together. Upon pulling them apart and eating a piece, I thought it tasted weird. I ended up spitting it out and checking the other pieces stuck together. They absolutely 100% had mold on them. At least half the chicken in the salad had the same black fuzzy mold on it. The waitress was kind and responsive about it initially, but didn't say a word after the fact. I go in tonight and I have to stand in line at the hostess stand to order anything.. food, drink, tabbing out. Absolutely unacceptable. The food was just as mediocre as the beer. They don't have a good selection of house made craft beer and the beers that I tasted seemed lacking in flavor and complexity. The food was expensive for what it was. I had the fish tacos and my fiancé had the turkey havartisandwich. The tacos were good, but the beans and rice served with them were very bland and unexciting. When I asked for some limes to go with my tacos, they brought out 3 little pieces and said that's all they could find! That's inexcusable at a place that's serves cocktails and food! The havarti sandwich was good and the fries that came with it were decent. Overall I would not recommend eating or drinking beer here. Unless you were already here playing golf. I ordered from grub hub, so I can't speak to the dine in experience, but what I got was great. After ordering online, they called me to inform me that they were out of the salad dressing I had asked for. They were really good about checking which of the salad dressings were gluten free for me to find a replacement. Minus one star because even after all of that, they still put croutons on the salad. Oh well, I wasn't too invested in the side salad anyways. I'm a vegetarian and gluten free, so it can be really hard to find comfort food that hits the spot. I got the impossible burger on a gluten free bun and was shocked by how good it was. Seriously. I've been craving it ever since. It is a little pricey, which hurt a little, but not too much. I will definitely get their food again, probably in person next time. read more

What a random surprise, a tasty restaurant with a whole freaking golf course! Traditional pub fare and an array of beer make this place a fantastic stop any time of day. The pretzels and beer cheese are divine. Di. Vine. The location has a ton of indoor and outdoor seating, including what appeared to be a party area. Lots of TVs to keep up with sports while you're shoving the food down your faces. So usually I only post when I have had a bad experience, but now I am inclined to make sure the staff and food here get recognition. Rayn, Kim, Erika, mckenzie have all been there for our stupid antics and have been nothing but amazing. If you want to have a good experience, highly suggest you come in and expect to have a great experience ,cause you get treated appropriately if you understand how real bartenders and servers can literally dictate your night or day. As a semi-regular attendee to the CB&Potts at Collindale, I am very annoyed with the new "system" to order/checkout. While the idea seems great, it's not ideal for a sit down restaurant. Having a register with the hostess might be a good idea for golfers, but not for those of us sitting down for a meal. It was quite annoying having to stand in line behind 10+ other people, just to close out my tab. This is a sit down restaurant and as so, there should be servers to the tables. I also should not have to walk back to the hostess stand to order another beer, it is very inconvenient. Until you go back to the "old school" restaurant style, I will be forced to choose a different restaurant to spend my money at. I really hope this "idea" fails because enough people complain... and I really hope you don't lose too much service because of this. read more

I had a good meal here all the way around. It was back in the summer and the restaurant overlooks a private golf course which is pretty to gaze out over while you are dining. I thoroughly enjoyed my Swiss and mushroom hamburger. They had some great peach beer that I had that was seasonal. This particular location does not house the brewery itself, the location that does is off of Elizabeth. Instead of that they appropriately enough have a golf shop off to the side of the dining area. read more

I've been to CB & Potts a couple of times for beers with friends. It is your typical sports bar and is a good place to catch a game. I had the amber and the blond and both were pretty good beers! I only tried one item on their menu - the shared nachos. There was a generous helping of guacamole and salsa and that was nice but the overall taste was just average. I stopped by here last week because one of my friends had a gift card. First of all, this C.B. & Potts location (there are multiple throughout the state) is the tallest bar in Colorado. The inside has a cool barn-ish feel, lots of high top tables and TVs. This brewery is awesome because not only do they have their own brews, they also have standard beers in stock, such as Bud Light. I tried the pumpkin beer and it was amazing. It tasted just like pumpkin pie. The Potts beers come in two sizes and I opted for the larger-- I must admit that it was difficult to drink such a large glass of pumpkin pie and I ended up sharing sips with the table before ordering something lighter. The four of us split fried pickles and nachos and they were pretty standard. The place was pretty empty, but it was a Tuesday night so I am sure there must be more going on during the weekend! They have many many other beers than the pumpkin one-- and their selection of "skinny cocktails" looked really good too. read more

Nice restaurant! really! Where you can spend a great 5 bucks for the sampler and get nine kinds of beers to taste! It is great! But are you up to ordering a Notorious PIG sandwich and a Buttface Ale for fluids! I did and it was fabulous. The service is great. The bar is very well appointed and and extra room with the big TV looks like the place for football! The Patio overlooking the golf course is wonderful. This place is an escape from the every grind and I am glad it is walking distance from my best friends home here in Fort Collins. I can't wait to try the steaks and ribs at dinner! read more

Pleasantly surprised by our visit here based on the inconsistent previous reviews. We visited on a Monday night to watch a Steelers game and it wasn't too crowded or noisy. TVs were convenient and we could hear the game just fine while carrying on our conversations. Beers were pretty tasty, the flight we had for $5 had 5 or 6 of their year round selections along with 4 seasonals which was a great deal. The weasel, Hefe, and their IPA stood out as better than the others. We had the beer cheese dip, fish & chips and the Tumbleweed burger. All were solid bar-food quality, but the fish & chips were a little pricey for what you got. Happy hour specials seemed pretty decent, so we'll definitely be back to check those out. read more

Ate there for the first time today - convenient after a nice game of golf. I ordered a Patty Melt but asked for no mushrooms and cooked medium well. It arrived filled with mushrooms so I scraped them off. Took one bite and realized it was quite rare! Ugh! When the waitress stopped by I told her and she was apologetic. She returned and said they would discount my lunch. I ate the french fries and one bite of the patty melt. When the bill came they had given me an "employee discount" of 35%. Not acceptable and won't return! read more
