Catfish, battered fries, and spicy tartar sauce.

3 stars because I'm still on the fence on a few things, but we'll be back to experience and share more. Service was amazing. No wait. Plenty of smiles and maybe one of the few genuine "we're glad you're here" vibes I've experienced in N. Colorado. Yay for customer service! Clean and open entryway. A few arcade games when you walkin gives a nice fun flair. They have booths, tables, and a sizable bar that spread along the windows letting in the sunset glow. Busy wall decor for those who like that sorta thing. It was very clean and open in there so it didn't feel cluttered or messy. Menu is "bar food" and fried; think happy hour.... But wait there is no happy hour there? It didn't appear so anyways. We looked at the menu beforehand so we were looking forward to a variety of fried goodness! For those who are looking for veggies to maybe balance the plate- this is not the place. The food was good and cooked to our request. Beverages- beer and cocktail list, Pepsi products. Paper towels at the table for folks who are getting down with wings. Catfish are two 4 oz filets; they definitely were tasty, seasoning was great and the lemon slice was a nice touch. I was underwhelmed by the plate:price ratio ... and I understand what type of economy a new business must be facing... And not many places here have catfish on their regular menu, so I can be humble and content. They won my heart over with a full plate of battered fries and condiments galore. Buffalo wings were great. Loved the sauce with the extra jalapeño pieces on top. Wish there were a few more carrots/celery on the plate. I'm not a huge fan of the tray vs. plates or baskets, however, am aware that it's an eco-friendly choice and likely helps cleanup/dishwashing duties in the back. I would like to try one of their hot dogs and the apps before I feel like I've been given an impression of their menu. I am looking forward to it and imagine I'll be able to add the 4th star to my review and/or to get more of a feel for why I'm "on the fence." Zoltar sent us and we're so happy we visited!

The food was good, the decor was fun and the service was okay. What started as a good experience ended up just being okay.

This place is really a hidden gem! Went to dinner on a Friday night and had no wait which I love!!!! Staff is so friendly and attentive! Good music, good food, and good beer!

    Menu back side

This place has a relaxed sports bar vibe. Has a Zoltar machine and a Lego Mona Lisa on the wall. Be a great place for a last minute dinner or work lunch

Low key, staff was chill and we felt a local bar vibe even though it was in a commercial area.

Much better coffee available around town. Espresso martini: 5/5 very dark. Great place to work with colleagues or alone. People seem to like to meet up here and talk vs work though. The bar almost resembles something you might find in a small European hotel, which may suggest they are aiming for a slightly upscale tone, though it never feels pretentious. The seating is varied, with small tables and retro chairs that seem intentionally chosen rather than bought in bulk. The spacing is better than most coffee shops, which makes it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The back area opens up even more, and the soft drapery adds a touch of personality that appears to hint at events or just a bit of flair. The staff continues to be the standout for me. Everyone I spoke with was kind in a way that felt natural, and they knew the menu well enough to help me navigate dairy free options. I usually order the avocado toast on focaccia because it is consistently fresh. The bread looks oversized at first but is airy and soft, and the avocado and radish topping feels simple in the best way. The matcha made with water has also become a go to since it tastes smooth and well-bodied without that chalky, thin finish some places have. My partner and I visited during their Dia de Los Muertos weekend and tried a few themed items. Everything was good, and they were quick to suggest dairy free choices. Prices seem fair, even with the general bump everywhere lately. The only thing I wish they had more of is outlets. It is still a nice place to work for a couple of hours, but coming with a charged laptop helps. The overall vibe is calm with just enough energy to keep the space from feeling sleepy. It works well for coffee dates, casual catch ups, or solo work, especially for anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere without too much chaos.

We originally planned to stay for happy hour, but ended up spending nearly three hours there because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Social is one of those rare places that completely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk downstairs, the atmosphere transports you to another era. The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Ryan, our bartender, really made the experience special. He treated us exceptionally well, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time. It's the perfect place for a date night or simply a relaxing evening with exceptional food, outstanding cocktails, and an atmosphere that's second to none. We'll definitely be back now that we live here in Fort Collins. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Fort Collins, Social is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

I don't love cocktails and their food menu is sparse, but if you want to impress a date or treat yourself to tasteful drinking, it's a nice place. Sometimes if you sit at the bar, there are annoying strangers who ask you to explain your thoughts on America's involvement in Iran. My server made sure to back me and my friend up when he started to get defensive. Thank you brother, you are an ally to the lesbian community.
