Had a fun, but short experience here today. Had business to do in Fort Collins and wanted to check it out! It was a bit grey and chilly, and mid day, so it was quieter than probably usual. They have a huge outdoor courtyard and a cute airstream bar! I can see this being a really cool hang out when the weather is nice after work. Location is prime and easy to get to. Obviously NB beer speaks for itself. They're one of the originals and still make great brews. In fact, the Voodoo Ranger line has practically become its own brewery! I had a pour of Atomic Pumpkin, one of my favorites with its slight cinnamon spice heat. They have a lot of swag and open space, as well as a cool factory tour I'll have to come back for again. My two points of improvements, parking felt hard to navigate. It felt like much was just people street parking. I tried going in both entrances for the giant facility. One was a truck and grain silo entrance. The other was a"Coworker Parking". I saw signs for guest parking but couldn't get there, so maybe I'll find it next time. Im out of Boulder so as much as I want to ride my bike there, driving is my route. Second, I went in the tap room with two ladies working and neither said hello or a greeting. I work front desk and greet everyone with a smile and loud how are you, so I have grown to sort places who do vs don't. The bartender was nice through the rest of the time though! What's not 5 stars about New Belgium beer?! They've been around for a long time, with Fat Tire being one of their most classic beers.This visit was my first time going to the NB brewery in CO. Glad we stopped by before heading out for dinner. This place was kid friendly, dog friendly, and beer lover friendly. Big open grassy area outside and they run a brewery tour but we weren't able to get tickets on the day we went. I tried the juicy haze IPA and a sour made with lychee, can't remember the name. Both were delicious. In Colorado there are so many breweries to visit, New Belgium is a good one to check out for sure. read more

I'm an IPA nut. If it's double, triple, or quad, I'm a nut x2, x3 or x4 and darn proud of it. I didn't get a chance to make it to Ft. Collins the last time I was in the Centennial state so I had to imbibe on the New Belgium selections that were available in stores. I was introduced to Voodoo Ranger and ever since, I'll happily pick up a 6 or 12pk when I see it in the refrigerator case. Crispy, fresh and juicy too. That's what I like most about IPA's - the tropical, fruity and floral flavors resonate with me. Does this have something to do with gardener in me? I have no idea, either way, I am not complaining! The only thing that would make this better is if it came in bottles (or if it were served from the keg at the bar). It's summer and sunny outside...a perfect day for an ice cold Voodoo Ranger in a frosty glass. read more

New Belgium in Fort Collins is a must stop when in Foco! I've visited the Asheville location, which is awesome, but this one sets the bar for what a brewery should be. We did the tour, and it's very engaging and kid friendly. The best part is you get to pour your own beer! There's also a surprise at the end - but I won't ruin it for you. Check out my photos if you need to know. The employees are friendly and very enthusiastic about the beer. The beer is awesome - but that's a given. The yard is a great place to relax and enjoy a sunny day. I wish there were more yard games and things to do like in Asheville, but it's a good time nonetheless. This is a review for the $15, 90-minute tour. What a fantastic experience and worth every penny. Our tour guide, Aimee, was fantastic. Full of information, presented in a fun way, answered a ton of questions and a super bubbly personality. Several stops on the tour along with several beer samples. We were in town and out hosts wanted to take us on the tour here so off we went. We met up in the front area with our fellow tour participants. All the employees were super friendly. It was interesting to see the facility & processes while learning the intricacies and history of the brewery. The guide kept it light and funny. I'm not a big beer drinker but I enjoyed tasting the various offerings. Waking through the oak casks, and production areas was also a neat experience. At the end we were offered a coupon to redeem for a beverage of our choice. I chose the black cherry soda which was great and my friends all chose different beers or sours. They also had a food truck which looked good, but there was no seating left so we didn't eat there. It's a great way to kill a good portion of a cold and blustery day read more

We wandered into this place as a respite from the hot sun. 6/20/25. It was pet friendly (they brought us a dog bowl and water immediately) and was large and spacious and cool! Updated review: this was my third of fourth time here and I feel like the staff are less friendly and customer focused. I came on a weekday so they weren't busy; staff were ignoring me because they were chatting or playing on their phones. I'm fine with that if there's no one there or whatever but it felt very dismissive. The beer is less good, and they haven't updated their selection (at least not sours or "fruit" beers) since last year when I came. Also the sours aren't really sour at all. Staff aren't as friendly either. It's a bummer because I've loved this place since the first time I came. read more

We picked up some burritos and wanted to go to a brewery for dinner. When in Fort Collins, New Belgium should be a destination. We drive a hybrid that needed some juice and they have two plugs available. We plugged in, grabbed our bag of dinner and went looking for some beverages. This happen to be an evening when there was live music out on the lawn and the majority of folks were gathered there. We headed inside and found a couple spots at the bar. We each got a flight. I went for the VooDoo Ranger flight and my hubby got a variety of sours. VooDoo Ranger Juice Force was so good, we got a six pack to bring home. We sat and enjoyed our brews and burritos while chatting the beertender behind the bar. I know this scenario will repeat itself. It is just a matter of when. read more

They offer fun and informative brewery tours and a great selection of beers on draft and to go in cans and bottles. There's also a lot of merchandise available for sale. We walked in a it took us a minute to decide on a flight of beer but when we saw the special listings (the brewery only stuff, the experimental stuff, the stuff that doesn't get canned or distributed) we had to try those. I have done this tour about half a dozen times and feel like it is the best brewery tour in the Denver metro area. So when a friend was coming in from Scotland I decided to take her on the New Belgium Tour and then brewery hop around the area. We arrived 15 minutes early like they requested. Then we were told everyone had to have closed toe shoes. This is the first time this has ever been brought up and my friend, all the way from Scotland, was wearing sandals. They would not allow her to go on the tour unless she changed her shoes. Nowhere on the ticket or emails said anything about this leading up to it and we had just driven from Aurora to go on this tour. They offered us to go to Walmart nearby and purchase shoes and miss the first part of the tour. She decided to hang around the patio and wait while the rest of us took the tour. Once we went through it we found that the closed toe shoe part is one tiny piece of the tour that she could have skipped and still seen the rest. So sad to see her miss out on this based on something that could have been avoided in the beginning. They should include this information with the tickets or confirmation email. Other than that, I do love this tour and love their beers. The patio is always lively and a great place to people watch. read more

Great brewery! New Belgium is definitely one of our favorites in all of CO. It has such a nice atmosphere - cool & casual with plenty of room to hang with friends for the day. I love the big turf area with cornhole (although I do wish there were more chairs). The beer selection is great especially if you like IPA's as they have quite an extensive list. I personally really like the honey orange tripel & the 1554. Both are smooth & delicious. They don't serve food, but they do have a nice selection of food trucks parked on property. Also there's plenty of parking across the road and bike stands inside if you ride there. read more

What a brewery! We did the tour which books up fast and is so worth it! They took us around the entire factory and it was so fun seeing how beer was made and interacting with the fun elements of the tour. They gave plenty of samples and even some fresh ones right out of packaging. Everyone was so nice and happy and the story is so awesome. Loved this space for so many reasons! The outdoor areas offer a fantastic place for family including dogs; an outdoor stage for performances, fireplaces to sit by on colder days, and an all-around inviting atmosphere. The inside has a large bar with seating , a souvenir shop, and a seating area with tables if you'd prefer to sit inside. I was so disappointed in this brewery. First, I was ignored at the counter trying to order. Second, when I asked if they serve food, I was pointed to an outside food truck. Keep in mind that the temp is in the 30s and there was only one choice. Seating inside was extremely limited. Then, I asked if I could order a beer and the server behind the counter responded that she could take my order on the iPad. No engagement. No talking about their brews. No trying to figure out a particular beer for me. My recommendation is to pass on this brewery. They got too big and lost site of the customer. New Belgium has blown up since our last visit! This visit we enjoyed sitting outside with our dog. Dogs are so very loved in Fort Collins, and accepted everywhere. The place was packed, it was the day before the 4th of July and it was hot so everyone was trying to sit along the perimeter of the grass in the shade, or inside! There were 2 food carts parked on site featuring tacos and nachos, or burgers/hot dogs. We selected the Dominga Mimosa sour to drink and it was delish! They were busy but will check on you if you're good. I have been to New Belgium twice in my life, and both times went on the 90 minute tour and also spent some time in the tap room and lawn. Both times were absolutely fabulous! The tour guides are so friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. Everyone at the tap house is friendly and the vibe is just so fun! Prices are very reasonable for flights and they will let you try just about anything! They even have a decent NA selection of sodas and juices which I appreciate. The friendliness here was definitely appreciated after our first stop of the day at Odell, which had surly, angry people working. Nice change! Unfortunately it is located in Fort Collins, which is not my favorite place, but it's definitely worth a trip from Denver- just stick to breweries rather than do anything else. read more

So excited we go to visit here on our trip to Denver! Didn't even realize New Belgium was started in Fort Collins before we stopped in. Fat Tire was one of the first craft beers I got into when I started drinking! We ordered a flight and tried some different beers, including some new sours I've never had!
