    Beer tasters with the pup!

Great brewery in a cool historic building. 16 beers on tap and we tried 10 tasters. Nice, helpful beertender. Smaller taproom inside and large outdoor patio space, and dog friendly!

Not my best beer pic(blurry) but the Italian Pilsner I had was pretty good!

It's pretty cool that Timnath has its own brewery now. When I used to live in Fort Collins I was actually closer to Timnath than Fort Collins so if I still lived here it would have been an easy hop, skip and a jump away. This brewery is really popular too and I can see why as the surrounding area has really grown especially since I moved away. I was out doing a brewery tour so I just tried one beer here. I got a favorite kind of pilsner here, their Italian Pilsner. It was light and crisp and a highly appropriate fit for the hot, dry Colorado day I was encountering while being out and about.

My family and I enjoyed our time at this brewery! They had some gaming options for our young children as well as some delicious food options (food truck) for us to munch on while drinking. The brew selection was great--the flavors were good! I loved that it was family (and dog) friendly with quick service. We got there just in time; it started to pack up after we got our table but even as busy as it was, it was never overly loud.

We stopped at Timnath Beerwerks on our way back to Lafayette from hiking out at the Pawnee Buttes, and we're so glad we did. The hike was great, and stopping here really topped off the day. This was our first time visiting Timnath Beerwerks. We'll definitely return nexts time we're up that way. The beers were of very high quality -- I tasted the West Coast IPA, Double Dry Hopped Italian Pilsner, Coffee Schwarzbier, and Proper Dark Ale (oatmeal stout). The building is really cool, and the patio was spacious. We found a nice corner of the patio with a heater above it, and we were very comfortable and saw a great sunset. This was a COVID-19 visit, and their protocols seemed very good -- apparently they are part of a new Larimer County program that allows for the resumption of indoor dining (we stayed outdoors, but just because we're not quite ready to drink/dine indoors yet, in general). There was a sheet at the bar to write your name for contact tracing, which was great to see -- I'm not sure why I haven't seen that sort of thing in other places? The bartender was fast and helpful, and gave us a hand firing up the patio heater. There were at least a dozen beers on tap, and a hard seltzer with the best name ("Brewer's Tears"). There was a fridge near the entrance well stocked with pre-filled crowlers of almost all their beers, and there was a $2 discount per crowler for those who dined/drank on-site (I'm not sure how often they run that deal, but it was a great one). I picked up a few (okay, five). The "Ciao" food truck was present, and we had some really good food there (pizza, garlic knots, tater tots) -- I'll have to write a separate review for them. The building is shared with one or two other businesses, which seemed closed, but I think one of them offers food, which you can grab and bring over, when they are open (menu looked pretty good). Overall, we're very happy we stopped here, would highly recommend it, and would definitely return!

This would be a great place to hang out outside and bring your pup to enjoy a beer. We had a Porter that was pretty good.

It is a fairly noisy place so I feel the upstairs was a little quieter and I was glad not to have been seated in one of several booths near the entrance with so many people standing and waiting on seating. Our server was nice and attentive, and the food came out rather quickly. I had an pleasant DC Oakes IPA and the Bomb Diggity hamburger with sweet potato fries. The burger was very tasty (a fat bomb) and with the fries was a substantial amount of food - I was only able to eat about half of it all. However, that burger had to be the saltiest burger I've ever eaten. Curious, I went to the DC Oakes website to find nutritional information about my meal and there is no nutritional information. A third-party website (Marcos.menu) offered the following on the Bomb Diggity: Calories: 1200; Protein: 50g; Carbs: 55g; Fat: 85g. Nothing about sodium. My wife is on a sodium-restricted diet and she knows not to order anything like this burger. But still, nutritional information would be nice to know. When do you plan on putting this information on your menu for your customers? I will return to sample more of their beer and food selections.

I got a…read morevariety of different beers here and by the time the beer experience with this brewery was finished Steve and I tried about five different beers of theirs and it gave us a really good idea what kind of quality to expect from this particular brewery. The first beer that I had was the Honey Helles. I do love Helles Lagers and I do especially like it when honey is an ingredient for beer. This was a good example of balancing that beer style and having the presence of honey in the flavor profile. Other things for your taste buds to look for is grainy and earthiness upon your tongue. Definitely a nice beer for the summer but in my case any season is good to have this one. After that we had the Chill Pill Bavarian Style Pilsner. Another good and solid beer from this brewery. Flavor features with this pilsner is saltiness and breadiness. Tasting the bready was an extra plus as we do love a beer that has breadiness at work for flavors. Moving on from that we had the Perfect Patio Porter. Once again... a very solidly made beer that was very good. Flavors to look for on this porter is coffee, vanilla, chocolate and a very nice mellowness to this dark beer. We drifted to red ales after the porter and got the Red Fox Irish Red Ale. This had very pleasant notes of caramel, maltiness , sweet and clean aftertaste to this very well balanced beer. Our final one was one that was still good but felt like it was our least favorite and that was the Fattyboogler, a Scottish Ale with maltiness, sweet and clean flavor features and a smooth body. I am very picky with Scottish Ales so that is part of what was at play here but also it just wasn't one of their beers that hit us on the same level as the others but only by a slim margin. Greeley is really getting a nice brewery scene these days and Rule105 Brewing is a stop that should be made to see what craft beers the city has to offer if you are out and about checking out breweries and doing a tour of them.

I make this sound like this phenomenon happened overnight but if you live along the Front Range and hit every new brewery that pops up it feels like a bit of a wait but realistically it is a relatively short period of time before a new one opens between another. And if you once lived here and come back to visit then you got a lot of catching up to do. Especially if it's been a few years. Mighty River Brewing is one of the newer Windsor breweries that have come along since my last visit back. If you are on the Interstate it's fairly convenient to reach since it's close to it and not right in downtown Windsor. Beer here as with a lot of the Front Range breweries is solid. I got a favorite beer style I love to go to aside from a lager and that is kolsch. I had their Cutbow Kolsch which was great! This beer had a nice mellow and malty flavor to it and a crispness and floral flavor that made a nice cut to the muggy day I was encountering outside the day I went.
