It's pretty cool that Timnath has its own brewery now. When I used to live in Fort Collins I was actually closer to Timnath than Fort Collins so if I still lived here it would have been an easy hop, skip and a jump away. This brewery is really popular too and I can see why as the surrounding area has really grown especially since I moved away. I was out doing a brewery tour so I just tried one beer here. I got a favorite kind of pilsner here, their Italian Pilsner. It was light and crisp and a highly appropriate fit for the hot, dry Colorado day I was encountering while being out and about. read more

This rating has been building for months. This has been one of our favorite breweries for a while and the customer service has slowly pushed us to not wanting to return. As anyone that goes here knows the bar seating is minimal. Not many times can you go and there not be an owner, brewer, bartender or employee taking up 2, 3 or 4 seats at the bar with their computer working, getting up occasionally to go in the back to work and come back to sit at the bar. The brewery rule if sitting at the bar when a train comes by you get your drink topped off at no cost. One night while sitting at the bar. (I know it must have been an off night of employees taking up bar seating)a train came by. A regular sitting at a table across the way ran up and said to the bartender "top me off please" she got her glass filled to the brim with free beer. Wife and I sitting at the bar had to ask the bartender if we still got topped off when a train comes by, she grab our drinks and filled them to the half way mark. I asked about not being filled to the top and she said "well it was a small train. That's all you get". At bingo one night while looking for a place to sit as it gets busy in there. Two tables were pushed together with a computer bag on it. I asked about sitting there and was told by a bartender that was where Derek was setting up for bingo. You have to get here early to get a seat. We have been to bingo several times and he has always had his computer set up on the bar and stands behind the bar to do bingo. About 10 minutes before bingo starts he pushes the tables apart, grabs 2 more chairs, sets his stuff up on the bar. Soon after that walk in some couples and sit right at the tables he was saving for them. Not impressed. I don't care if they save seats but don't freaking lie about it. Be straight up and say those seats are saved. That was it for me. That might have been my last night in the brewery. The customer service is not great here. read more

My family and I enjoyed our time at this brewery! They had some gaming options for our young children as well as some delicious food options (food truck) for us to munch on while drinking. The brew selection was great--the flavors were good! I loved that it was family (and dog) friendly with quick service. We got there just in time; it started to pack up after we got our table but even as busy as it was, it was never overly loud. read more

They have a very nice outdoor and upstairs seating. The workers are quick and very friendly. Man we love coming here, always have they had a guest tap and the beers were 8.00 a pint for a blonde not worth it hints why they didn't have the price on the board either they were embarrassed to charge that much... used to like coming there but we'll head to a few other locals that ain't robbing people. This is a nice brewery! Outdoor seating or indoor. It's not got the high-end seating area of some of the national brands; it's a small local. But I'm a sucker for the underdog. The Rauchbier smoke lager is a nice representation of a beer that's brewed in Bamberg Germany. Nice level of smoky (not overwhelming) and very drinkable. The background music is loud enough to hear, but allows for conversation. Good prices too! I'm liking this! read more

We stopped at Timnath Beerwerks on our way back to Lafayette from hiking out at the Pawnee Buttes, and we're so glad we did. The hike was great, and stopping here really topped off the day. This was our first time visiting Timnath Beerwerks. We'll definitely return nexts time we're up that way. The beers were of very high quality -- I tasted the West Coast IPA, Double Dry Hopped Italian Pilsner, Coffee Schwarzbier, and Proper Dark Ale (oatmeal stout). The building is really cool, and the patio was spacious. We found a nice corner of the patio with a heater above it, and we were very comfortable and saw a great sunset. This was a COVID-19 visit, and their protocols seemed very good -- apparently they are part of a new Larimer County program that allows for the resumption of indoor dining (we stayed outdoors, but just because we're not quite ready to drink/dine indoors yet, in general). There was a sheet at the bar to write your name for contact tracing, which was great to see -- I'm not sure why I haven't seen that sort of thing in other places? The bartender was fast and helpful, and gave us a hand firing up the patio heater. There were at least a dozen beers on tap, and a hard seltzer with the best name ("Brewer's Tears"). There was a fridge near the entrance well stocked with pre-filled crowlers of almost all their beers, and there was a $2 discount per crowler for those who dined/drank on-site (I'm not sure how often they run that deal, but it was a great one). I picked up a few (okay, five). The "Ciao" food truck was present, and we had some really good food there (pizza, garlic knots, tater tots) -- I'll have to write a separate review for them. The building is shared with one or two other businesses, which seemed closed, but I think one of them offers food, which you can grab and bring over, when they are open (menu looked pretty good). Overall, we're very happy we stopped here, would highly recommend it, and would definitely return! read more

Perfect! This place is great for children. The staff are friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and they have good sports on.

We have been here more than a handful of times and there is always great beer options for everyone in our crowd. And side note.. the bathrooms are so clean! Weird that I mention that?! Maybe? But I'm weird about that and their bathrooms (or at least the ladies) is always so clean also the beer tenders are always super nice! read more

What a great place! The staff is very friendly! Being from the PNW, I really enjoy a good IPA and they have several fantastic IPAs. My wife loves the raspberry wheat. We appreciate it being dog friendly and offering so much outdoor seating. We feel spoiled to live so close. Great food truck options too. read more

What a great find! They keep about 12 beers in rotation. My go to are the sour and the Hazy IPA. Staff is friendly. They've got outdoor seating, and 2 Levels inside. They also offer your favorites canned so you don't have to commit to a growler which is nice. read more

Service was less then expected. When asked about best beer selection questions they replied that "it may be subjective" and left me open to multiple brewing questions. The the owner intervened and wanted no part of helping out. Which I thought was a HUGE issue and was ashamed to think this small market brewery had no time formally town people with questions. read more

10 months later and it's just as good - actually better - than opening weekend. This is our go-to brewery these days. It is extremely close to our house which helps, but everything about Timnath Beerworks is just great. With friendly staff, plenty of seating, sours and goses for me, and hazy IPAs for my boyfriend, they have it all! read more

Good neighborhood brewery! I've been here a few times now. I've had a beer at the brewery and have also taken out crowlers and filled a growler. The beer is good and the service is great! When I've been here the area felt a little cramped but cozy. The canned options were good and they are making barrel-aged beers in bottles. I guess I am a little picky and I thought the beer was good, but not spectacular. I will definitely be back, since they are close to my home and the service is great! I also know that each time I visit the beer gets better and better. Keep it up and I will update my review. One additional note: I loved the name of name of the last beer I had, "Six Feet of Separation" or something like that. Made me laugh. read more

Yesterday was the last day we will ever go to TBW. Our kids were playing outside out of the patio rope area, no where near anyone when one of the owners came up to our table and said "get your kids under control, come on." we use to come there a couple times a week as a family and play cards and what not. The German styles are crisp, clean and to style. The double ipa is well thought out, balanced, and big in flavor. The space is really well done, and the patio should be a great space in the summer (it's winter).
