Even though they weren't that busy, we still waited a long time to get served. We were definitely ready to get out of the sun. My daughter tried a few different things before she ended up with the pumpkin spice county fair cobbler sour. I got a flight of five different beers, ranking them as close as I can remember: 1. Out of office lager 2. Beer flavored beer 3. Leafer lager 4. Chela Noches lager 5. Barrel-aged undead Honestly, all five were fine, but 1-3 were my favorites. We sat for awhile and played with the resident black cat, Midnight, as well. I could see stopping back by on a future visit to Greeley.

There is inside and outside seating. I also ordered a pizza from their pizza food truck, note* it is not always there so check their website to see what days they have food because it's not an everyday thing. Also if you do stop don't forget to buy your black cat sticker that is literally of the black cat in that bar. I think his name is Wiley.

Every pour tastes like it was crafted with intention -- balanced, flavorful, and honestly some of the best in town. The vibe inside is the perfect mix of cozy and energetic. You can settle in for a quiet pint, meet up with friends, or just enjoy the steady stream of brewery pups trotting around like they own the place. And honestly, they kind of do -- the dog‑friendly culture here is unmatched and adds so much joy to the experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through Greeley/Evans, Tightknit Brewery is a must‑visit. Great beer, great people, great pups. What more could you want.

I showed up asking to taste a porter that sounded good on the website. The guy at the bar said, "Oh, we haven't had that one in months." Seems like updating a website to accurately show what you've got on tap shouldn't be that difficult. Another odd thing is that they routinely run out of beers on tap, so your only option is to get it in a can. That's what my wife had to do with her Java Good Day this time. This happened to me last time with my Cool Boomer. I mean, I get it, but beer just tastes better from the tap. Both of our beers were fine, but neither blew us away. Only a few other people were in on a Saturday afternoon, which was surprising considering the number of people in the area. It's a real laid back vibe, which I can appreciate, but kind of a sad overall atmosphere. Not sure we'll be in a big rush to give them another try.

In some cases there are multiple ones and Windsor is one of those towns. I remember when Windsor didn't have any and then they got one and for the longest time just one then...(POP) there are multiple ones. I make this sound like this phenomenon happened overnight but if you live along the Front Range and hit every new brewery that pops up it feels like a bit of a wait but realistically it is a relatively short period of time before a new one opens between another. And if you once lived here and come back to visit then you got a lot of catching up to do. Especially if it's been a few years. Mighty River Brewing is one of the newer Windsor breweries that have come along since my last visit back. If you are on the Interstate it's fairly convenient to reach since it's close to it and not right in downtown Windsor. Beer here as with a lot of the Front Range breweries is solid. I got a favorite beer style I love to go to aside from a lager and that is kolsch. I had their Cutbow Kolsch which was great! This beer had a nice mellow and malty flavor to it and a crispness and floral flavor that made a nice cut to the muggy day I was encountering outside the day I went. Good brewery experience from Mighty River and fairly popular too with the turn out that was here!
