We have been to the Fort Collins location several times. This was our first time at the Windsor location. What a lovely space! Plenty of inside seating with multi-level outdoor seating. They have food on site, but we were just there for beer. We were welcomed in and got great information on the beers available from the beertender that helped us. My husband, having just brewed a bock beer recently, chose to try their bock. I am always on the lookout for the dark beers and selected the coconut stout. We were both happy with our selections. I love a good stout and this had all the malty goodness that I crave. Thoroughly enjoyed that beer. My husband enjoyed the bock and had me try it as well. Delicious! I would like to come back on a summer evening. I think that would be great. read more

Holy cow this place is AWESOME!!!! The GM (I didn't know he was the GM- such a nice guy- Greg...) helped serve us and the entire serving crew was fantastic. We caught a beautiful day of weather and enjoyed the back patio. The pizza was worth every penny and the fries were off the charts! Loved the Spivey ranch sauce! Drinks topped off the food! The beers are inconsistent. Last time we went my wife got sick from one beer here. They keep changing food vendors and have not had anything good to eat here since they got rid of food trucks. It is also annoying that there are kids at a brewery. I think it is irresponsible to take your kid or baby to a place where you drink and then drive home. I was impressed instantly with the beer I got from Peculier! Steve and I split the Skåndi Shåndi a shandy(but categorized as a lager on Untapped) which he too immensely enjoyed! Everything about this beer involves lemon. Lemondrop hops, lemon peel and lemon juice crystals all go into making this beer what it is. Despite all that lemon the flavor is well balanced and so easily drinkable that you will want another one very quickly. Like all(or most) shandys they are light in the ABV and it's highly easy to desire another because that's the idea behind that beer style! I can't say enough good things about this particular beer and would love to try more in the future. I am very confident that I won't be disappointed in the slightest! read more

We purposely avoided the grand opening of this place, having heard a LOT about it for months leading up and knowing it would be slammed. I'm so glad we missed out on the crowds, and we got to enjoy the huge indoor space with just a handful of other groups. Walking in to the high-ceilinged location, we were greeted by the properly masked beer-tender and ordered a flight of everything! While we waited, we checked out the area - artsy fans running a cool breeze around the room, rustic wood tables (hand-made by the brewer!), roll up garage doors, welded light fixtures and metal artwork spaced out on the white walls in between the windows. You can tell this building, and the interior design itself, is as about art as it is beer. Of all the NINE beers we tried (and yes, I shared this flight with my boyfriend, it wasn't all for me), the Sun is Shining - a Citra pale with candied orange, the Career Hopportunity - a double IPA clocking in at 8.1% (that dangerously does not taste like 8.1%), Fjords to Valhalla - a kellerbier made with kviek yeast and Drink Your Drink - a hazy IPA with lactose were my favorites, although there wasn't one I didn't want to finish! I ended with a pint of the Fjords to Valhalla and we grabbed a four-pack of Career Hopportunity to go, then we relaxed and played dice in the beams of sunshine streaming through the tall windows. I'm looking forward to seeing who they choose to run the currently empty kitchen they have in the brewery! Definitely a place I'll be a regular at - and a great addition to the cute town of Windsor. read more

Went here on 4/20/22. First time here. Looks like they are dog friendly. Big patio. They have a good concession inside the building. Good selection of food and it was good. Good selection of beer. Looks like they only have the lighter beers. Like IPAs, blondes and sours. Darkest beer they had was a doppelbock. Looks like they Can most of their beer. Had a flight of 6. Tried the cream ale, blonde, Hefeweizen, sour, Vienna lager and kellerbier. All really good. Great customer service. Very open seating. Lots of community tables. Cheers! read more

Food was good. Parmesan fries were the best. Service not so much. Tables were wiped - we sat at a semi-clean table. Order yourself on an app or at a counter. Pick up your own food, get your own silverware, water/soda and napkins. Was here for beer and bingo - tables were not serviced at all. 1% service charge automatically applied then another tip on top of that - PRIOR to receiving your food - and of course there is no service, no waiters. First at this, walked in, girl at counter just looked at us. Very unwelcoming, I had to ask questions as to how things worked there and if I needed to show my id. Sat at the bar, taps not labeled for anyone to see. Scanned QR code and you get a full story of the beers offered. Food was separate, which was fine, but just a maze to get your beer & food. Food was good, my light beer was mediocre. Need to have friendly staff to help explain to new customers and bartender must pay attention to customers coming in and stop gossiping with regulars. I enjoy the ambiance at Peculier! It's a great place to meet up for a beer or cider. The Comm Fare is also great for fries and mozzarella sticks. The place is cute, the staff are friendly. I personally am not a fan of the flavors or their beer or cider. But that doesn't mean you can't try them. read more

These burgers are simply THE BEST in town. Their Bacon Avocado Burger does not disappoint... NOT AT ALL...Simply to die for. But their Garlic Parmesan Shoestring Fries are just OK. I'd much rather have regular cut fries without the Garlic and/or Parmesan. Second time, I ordered the Loaded Potato Croquettes, which easily made up for their fries 10-fold. They offer their own delectable brews as well as a selection of other beverages, especially if you bring the kiddos along. One of the best breweries around with a great neighborhood vibe! The parking situation can be challenging if you come on a weekend evening, since it is only street parking, but I've never minded a short walk. Inside...what a cool space and patio area!! The open seating area is perfect and there is quite a bit of seating on the back patio. There are a couple food options in the area if you want to bring something in and they have a food place inside, but unfortunately I don't recommend it. The beer however...is amazing! I have been here several times and the beer is always excellent, in every style I've tried. Their IPAs are terrific and the lager options are some of the best around. If you like sours, they have some really good ones too. The staff has always been helpful and they allow you to sample a couple beers before deciding on a full pour. For a guy who loves beer like I do, I'm so glad this place is close to my house! read more

I can't rate the food. We weren't served any. We waited 15 minutes to be seated. Not bad for a Friday night. Then we sat for 10 minutes waiting for a server who came and bragged about how great the chef is and reviewed the menu. Over the next 20 minutes he walked past us numerous times. He never so much as acknowledged us by saying "just a minute" or something like that. He was at the next table when we stood up and left. He turned his head away to not make eye contact. What a beautiful layout. The entire space flows inside and out. It's spacious and inviting. The outdoor seating is tiered with a variety or seating options all of which offer shade. This brewery or ale house of worship does not have unnecessary clutter or sideshows, it does not need to. They offer a sliding scale of dynamic flavors and styles. Blueberry and key lime sours, cleaver named hazy IPA's and great lager and wit options. They are unique while covering the necessary basis. If you are feeling froggy mix the key lime and blueberry sours and Amanda will be proud! They have a lot of space to grow and evolve which I think everyone is excited to observe and take part in. Good environment. The low rating is based on the treatment me and my female friends endured from the female staff. They were very catty, unfriendly and unhelpful. Not an environment I would like to spend my time and money at. I'll be at high hops. It's unfortunate to be treated the way we were. Paying patrons at a venue that was completely empty when we arrived to then be treated in such an unfriendly manner is more than discouraging. Windsor has very few hang out spots and Peculiar ales will not be one of mine. read more

We love this new brewery in Windsor! They have an amazing patio, fun music and are really practicing social distancing. We also ordered fries and a flatbread pizza from The Tavern, which was convenient - although I wouldn't recommend the flatbread at all! We will be back!!! read more
