JW was so knowledgeable, entertaining, and kind! We learned so much about the brewery and the brewing process! We walked around to multiple locations and got to drink 3 different kinds of beer! Make sure you are early and wear good walking shoes! Cool gift shop at the end with lots of options. Highly recommend, and will definitely do this tour again when visiting in the future!

Great brewery tour. It was just the right amount of time and information for people who want to expand their knowledge on the beer making process. Our guide Russ was great. You also get three full sized generous samples and there's a seating area at the end of the tour. For the price, it's a great value and the facilities is really massive and well maintained.

We booked the Coors Tour for my brother's 40th birthday weekend, and there were about seven of us in our group. Overall, it was a really cool and educational experience -- definitely something fun to do if you're in the area. The tour lasted about an hour, and we got to learn all about the beer-making process, including germination and the different production stages. It was interesting seeing everything behind the scenes and understanding how it all comes together. Just a heads up -- there are quite a few stairs and elevators involved, so be prepared for a little walking. As part of the tour, we each got three complimentary beers. There were around six different options to choose from, but you could only pick three full pours (with small tastes of others if you wanted). They had classics like Coors Banquet, Coors Light, Busch, and Keystone, plus a few others. It was nice having options so everyone in our group could find something they liked. Our tour guide (they called him "Doctor" something) was okay -- he definitely knew his stuff, but his delivery was a little dry. We were there celebrating and trying to have a fun, upbeat time, and he didn't quite match that energy. I probably wouldn't request him again, but the information itself was solid. At the end of the tour, there's a lounge area where you can enjoy your last beer, which was a nice way to wrap things up. The gift shop was also impressive -- tons of cool merch! My husband loves Coors Banquet, so I grabbed him a corduroy hoodie, a mug, magnets, and stickers. They also had beanies, t-shirts, and even stuff for dogs -- seriously, something for everyone. Overall, it was a fun birthday activity, educational, and worth doing at least once. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

I didn't book a tour, but just walking through the place and browsing the gift shop was fun on its own! You get to see a decent amount of exhibits on Coors history and they are great and really interesting.

This place is pretty cool. We were too late to book a tour so we booked the sampling activity. The bartenders were very friendly not at all stingy. We got three big ol samples of our choice and they were all refreshing. The gift shop has a lot of cute merch!

Danielle was so cool and knowledgeable. She was quick paced so we didn't get bored, but would stop to address any questions we had! Perfect tour guide. Fun and informative tour!

The tour for this place sells out super fast so I recommend booking and checking for spots much time in advance. It was too late for me to purchase tour tickets so we opted for the sample only tickets which were priced at about $10 each. On the day of, we rented a locker and left our bags there as they are not allowed into the facility. The check in employees were friendly and we were then put onto a shuttle within a few minutes after checking in. Once at the facility, we checked in again and we were then showed where to go for our samples. We made it to the bar area and the bartenders were super friendly. We each were allowed three samples each. I went with a Blue Moon, Coors Banquet, and a cold Coors Light. All three of the samples I picked were yummy and they were not stingy on their pours. We drank and mingled for about an hour and we stopped by the gift shop. The gift shop had a lot of unique shirts and souvenirs for reasonable prices. The cashiers were friendly. Overall we had a great time and it was such a cool experience! So worth it!

Coors Brewery Tour in Golden is such a cool experience and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. It has the perfect mix of history, education and of course really great beer. We loved seeing all of the different brands they brew and the huge copper kettles were seriously impressive in person. The tour walks you through each part of the brewing process so you actually learn what goes into making the beer taste so crisp and fresh. They even share fun facts along the way like why they use amber glass to protect flavor. Each section is themed and well designed so you never feel bored or rushed. The best part is finishing the tour with fresh beer in the tasting room. We enjoyed a cold Coors Light Banquet to celebrate being in Golden where it all began. The staff was friendly and everything was organized so the line kept moving even when it was busy. If you are visiting Golden, add this to your list. Great atmosphere cool visuals throughout and you walk away appreciating your beer a little more. Cheers to that!

This was a well organized tour and everyone that we encountered was very friendly. The tour was very informative and I was impressed with Coors sustainability. Arriving too much before the 15 min doesn't help too much and they were on time. You get three large "samples."

Make sure that you have reservations and an assigned time before going. They have an easy check-in process at the free parking lot. The bus will take you to and from the tour. The tour staff are friendly, helpful, and informative. They will be happy to answer questions and you will get to try three different beers. They have a great merchandise gift shop too.

We did the $10 Hospitality Lounge experience and it was so worth it. I originally wanted to do the full tour, but there were so many small historical showcases in the lounge, I didn't feel like I was missing out. You get three 8oz beer samples with the lounge experience. There are chips/snacks for purchase. The employees were all nice and the gift shop was cool. And parking was free! You may wait a little while in the shuttle line, so be prepared if it's cold, but the shuttle ride through the brewery is neat.

I highly recommend the Coors tour. The tour was extremely informative on their brewing process. We learned about the company's history and the story behind their many variations of beer. There are tasting opportunities throughout the tour and you get witness each step of their brewing, canning, and distribution process. At the end of the tour, there is a Coors dedicated bar with specialty variations available as well as their "glacier tap" which is their beer tap on ice.

How fun was this! We traveled to Golden, CO in our RV and I'm so glad we did. We booked a tour prior to our arrival and we were able to park in the free parking area on 10th Street with our RV. It was a safe space for it and we had no issues with parking. Danielle was our tour guide and she was marvelous! She spoke slow, loud, and was clear on her speech without the umms, or nerves which I appreciate, because it is hard to follow with the distractions. The Coors brewery is a working, function brewery so it was cool to see how they do everything. My kids even enjoyed it and of course my husband had a blast. Highly recommend!

    Ask the Community - Coors

    Any restaurants nearby?

There a few across from the parking lot, walking distance. I believe with your coors tickets some offer a discount. They give you names/lust of which ones will during your visit.

So you do not have to be 21 in order to participate in the tour and everything?

Under 21 is allowed but they have to be accompanied by someone of age (for example kids with parents).

No purses/backpacks or strollers but are diaper bags ok?

They say no bags whatsoever. Kids wouldn't have much fun either I bet.

There are two different tours, but since we already had tickets to the New Belgium Brewery, we opted for the other one including: Avery, Oskar Blues, Fate, and Left Hand. We got picked up in a Wal-mart parking lot if my memory serves me correctly, and then we went to another stop to pick up some other people. The website didn't say this, or maybe I missed it, but they actually supply beer on the bus! One of the other guys brought beers and stuck it in the cooler they supplied for everyone to help themselves to. The bus was decorated in all sorts of hanging Oskar Blues cans and stickers from the breweries. Our driver had some trouble with the directions, I think the told us this was her 2nd day on the job, but we didn't sweat it. I would recommend this to anyone who A) likes beer, B) is visiting Colorado C) lives in Colorado D) is awesome. Cheers!

What gets them 5 stars is the fact that they are a well oiled machine. This isn't some fly by night company. They pick you up when they say they're going to pick you up and they leave when they say they'll leave. Upon getting to the bus at 9:15 am, the driver, Kevin, checked me in and said, "Help yourself to a beer in the cooler." S'buh?! Ok, Kev, I surely will! I think that's there earliest I've ever had a beer besides a red beer. But it was nice. And the beer just kept flowing like wine. Plus, they create a playlist based on music requests you submit when you buy your ticket, which is a really cool bonus, unless you happen to be riding with people who have bad taste in music (I'm looking at you whoever requested all the Jimmy Buffet songs), which was slightly the case on my tour, but that's not the Brewery Bus's fault. I blame society for the amount of Matchbox 20 and Maroon 5 that was played. I digress. This is a great, reliable, friendly company that let's you be responsibly irresponsible and have a great time actually getting to enjoy beer. Colorado Brewery Bus, you get five stars and a super emphatic high five (I give those out a lot when I'm drunk, which is, naturally, what happened that day)!

However there were some pretty severe technical issues with the bike itself: the gearing was WAY off leading to some people having all the resistance and others barely being able to do anything. This meant we barely moved faster than a brisk walking pace (our friend actually managed to keep up with us during a phone call walking along the sidewalk!). This also fed into a secondary issue where the board above near your knees was a bit too close and, especially with little resistance, it was all to easy to smack into it hurting yourself. Lastly adjusting the seats was a bit difficult. For the amount of money I expected a bit more direction and time but you can only drink so fast. The tours listing 3-4 stops on their site seem ambitious even with a faster vehicle. In two hours we managed to hit two breweries. While we had a good time and the bike made for a fun team experience we could've just as easily have walked the whole thing. I'd home in the future they can make the experience a bit more worth the cost. We saw many of these types of tours in the RINO district where the breweries are closer together and the roads less intimidating/car-filled so that might be a better area for this.
