DENVER BRUNCH BUS!! My wife and I just did the Denver Brunch Bus and were totally impressed - we had the most fun ever and I would totally recommend the tour whether you live in Denver or are visiting and looking for a fun half-day, getting driven around the city to try the best food and drinks in the Brunch scene. Rick and David were awesome and very knowledgeable guides! They made us feel welcome and really owned the Brunch tour while providing great customer service. They promoted fun and helped connect all of the guests on the bus... after 15 minutes, we no longer felt like strangers. If you are considering the Brunch Bus or have just stumbled upon this review by chance, I would say don't hesitate - the Brunch Bus is even more fun than it sounds in the description and you will be happy you did it :) Note: We are Denver locals and had been to most of the places on the tour and STILL enjoyed it and learned a lot about the restaurants and bars we went to - Especially loved Mile High Spirits! read more

This business sucks. Three of us bought the boozy brunch. No one from the company showed for the tour. Trying to get a refund is like pulling teeth... I do not recommend. read more

Had a fantastic time! Awesome tour, take it. Take it and you will had a great time. Promise! I am a beer guy, not big into spirits. I would buy these craft spirits. This tour made me want to drink these spirits. They actually taste good straight! Oh and when you try punching mule, buy some to take home. read more

Booked their Whiskey Wagon for a bachelor party last June (2019). Rick was a wonderful driver chauffeuring us around Arvada to Top Golf in Lone Tree, back up to Westminster to a distillery, etc. The bus held 15 of us comfortably along with coolers. No worries about a DUI and we had a great time all day! Got dropped off at the door (various venues throughout the day) and picked up at the door with no worries about finding parking spaces. Saved us a lot of time and really added to a fun day. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

My girlfriend and I were gifted the History and Whiskey Tour over the holidays last year and finally got around to taking advantage of it. Rick is an amazing tour guide, not to mention person. He made the tour engaging and fun. Being from Denver, we were honestly glad that it was part history part whiskey. We got deeper insight into placed in downtown Denver that we weren't aware of. The discounts at Mile High Spirits and El Chapultepec were definitely worth it as well. We plan on doing more of their tours in the near future and highly recommend Centennial Tours! Thanks, Rick! read more

The History and Whiskey Tour This is a great tour! I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for something fun to do while visiting Denver, or a Colorado native! Great job!! read more

We went on the history and whiskey tour for my bachelorette party and had the BEST time. Rick was awesome and so much fun. Not only did he put up with a group of crazy, loud women, but he did it with a smile. I'm 100% planning on planning another tour with Centennial the next time I'm in Denver read more

I really wish the owner, Rick, had honored the Groupon that I tried to redeem over a 3-month period. I attempted to contact this business in February, March and April before my Groupon's April 20 expiration date to no avail. When I finally got something scheduled, Rick personally called me to tell me my Groupon was no longer good. Even though the scheduling problems were his fault (as clearly documented via email), Rick would not honor my purchase. He said I could still go on the tour if I wanted to pay again. A savvy business owner would have likely allowed me to go on the tour to make things right and avoid an upset customer, but here we are. Best of luck to you in the future, Rick. Please treat your customers with courtesy and respect. read more

For the tour alone, the experience alone, pretty much right at 5 stars. I will explain why it ISN'T 5 stars in a bit. My girlfriend purchased a Whiskey History Tour as a gift for me: I am a history nerd and love whiskey, so it was pretty much a match made in heaven. Unfortunately, as it does tend to do, time slid by until we realized our Groupon had expired. As per Groupon rules, we were still able to apply the paid amount towards a tour. We scheduled it, and were all set! Day of, as we were getting ready, my roommate came in and asked where we were going. When we told him, he asked if he could tag along. We gave him contact info, he invited his girlfriend, they booked in, in! Other roommate came out, same exact situation happened. Our party of 2 turned into a party of 6! Cool. Met up with tour guide, went on our tour. Had a really nice time! They were knowledgeable, had access to some cool spots, and I got to see places I had only driven by or not even known about. Mile High Spirits basically plopped down 4 bottles of liquor, which our guide and the proprietor of Mile High knew a ton about, and poured multiple drinks. Good times with good folks. However, I am not rating 5 stars. My issue is an odd one, so I will get right with it. I get that we owed an extra $28 for our expired Groupon, I do. I am willing to pay this. This has happened before, and it is fine, it is our fault for delaying our tour. But according to an old-version of their site, as well as the tour guide day-of and mentions before, if you brought additional people, your tour was discounted or even free, depending on how many people you brought. This section and offer appear to be gone now. When we were set to leave, we were asked for the additional payment for Groupon. That's fine. When we mentioned we brought 4 additional people at a total of $200+ more dollars and referenced the advertised "free tour" offer, it suddenly became a "oh well no, that is uh, only good for a future tour of the same size for one discounted person." Never saw that stipulation. Never was told that stipulation. I get it, I do. But don't tell me and advertise a "free tour" for bringing additional people, have us bring an extra $200 in more people to your tour, then not honor it. You truly don't HAVE to honor it, but it just felt a bit odd to me. read more

My cousin and I purchased a Groupon so we can take our husbands on this Whiskey Tour and we all had a good time. I probably wouldn't say it felt like a true Whiskey tour as we expected to visit different distilleries and learn more about Whiskey - rather our final stop was where we truly learned about whiskey and got to taste some. Here's the breakdown of the tour: Began at Union Station at 12:30pm. We sat and listened to Rick talk about the history of Denver back in the late 1800's and the guy is passionate about the history and how the city has evolved. We walk over to Rockmount where we get to check out some cool western wear. There was an extremely rude customer in there that kept body checking us and looking at us like we don't belong. He's right, western gear isn't for us, but again, to encounter a rude customer always puts a damper in your day. I really hope he was visiting and wasn't a Denverite because I'm embarrassed to share my beautiful state with him. We walk over to El Chapultepec - one of Denver's oldest Jazz and Blues clubs (Frank Sinatra played here once!) and this was my first time walking into the bar even though I grew up here. It was a fun environment, some of our tour members were brave and took the "Grasshopper Shot." Rick was kind enough and went to grab his tour bus and picked us up and drove us to Mile High Spirits which saved us from walking 6 or so blocks. At Mile High Spirits we got to learn about their business, sample the whiskey they make, and learn about the process of making/bottling. They also are the first to bottle the moscow mule and man, that was delish! We left Mile High Spirits around 3:15pm. We had to walk over 8 blocks back to Union Station where we parked so wear comfy shoes. Overall it was a fun experience. We got to meet some new people, learn about our city, and sample some great spirits and beverages that Mile High Spirits makes. Rick was very generous with his pourings and everyone was pretty happy with it. Rick was a history major and you can tell he really enjoyed living in the city and embracing its culture. He's been here for three years but he knows a whole lot more than those of us who are natives. Would really recommend the tour! I will warn you, that if you have to re-book the tour, he charges $10/per person. I think this was a bit outrageous since we gave him over a month's notice to re-book the tour. I would understand if we re-booked the same day and he wasn't able to fill the spots but he had plenty of time to do so in my opinion. It's a one-man show so sometimes e-mail responses aren't as quick. He was really responsive when I texted him though. read more

We had a great time on the Whiskey Wagon to a Red Rocks show and back! Unlike other bussing companies, they do not charge for the time we spent inside the concert. Great deal Very knowledgeable of both whiskey and the places you tour. Incredibly personable If you goto Pints Pub go early and get some food it is wonderful Killer bus and great drinks on the bus Thanks for a great experience read more

Did this tour on a last minute whim while trying to come up with something to do. This was really pricy so we thought it would be a great time. The comedians really needed some more time because I found myself sleeping rather than laughing. Also think the host should keep things on a professional level as some comments that were made were offensive. This could actually be a great concept if the graveyard escort wasn't funnier than the paid comedians. Finally, the worst part about this experience was being handed a brochure while on the tour and finding out that we were charged for and paid double what the tour normally costs......big disappointment! read more

I did the Denver Brunch Bus in April. It was a blast. Rick was an awesome tour guide. The food was great, the drinks kept rolling and were awesome. Ricks energy definitely set the tone for the day. read more

Found this tour company on Groupon and did the Best of Denver. David our tour guide was great and very accommodating. This was my first time in Denver so this was a great way to taste good food, beer & alcohol. One thing that I had to do is buy four tickets so that the tour would run on a Tuesday since there is a 4 person on the tour minimum. Talked to Rick on the phone about if there were 4 people or just 2 of us and pleasure to work with to make it happen. read more

We had so much delicious food to eat (donuts, breakfast tacos, biscuit sandwiches), and generous samples of whiskey, coffee, Moscow mules, and other cocktails throughout the tour! This is an excellent opportunity to see some of the sites in Denver. The tour guides are present and invested in you having a great experience. Hanging out on the bus is as cool as the tour. Wonderful afternoon learning about denver and a very educational whiskey tasting! Nice small group but big enough to be social. Fun day!

Rick is a super knowledgable and laid back guy! He will show you the proper way to taste spirits and understand their background, while throwing a bunch of interesting and often funny information your way about Denver history! I have now been on a couple of tours with friends - we all had a blast each time and are excited to see what tours will be available in the future. Thanks for a great time! read more

Such a great tour and the guide (David) was fantastically enthusiastic, he definitely loves his job and made the tour so fun. Oh, and I got the tour on Groupon. read more

Rick was great! He was knowledgable about the area and I learned some things about Denver I never knew (and I'm a Colorado native!). I can't believe its been 16 months since you took my money and you are still sending these feedback requests. I assume no one can see them as you do not seem to be concerned with customer service or experience. I purchased your walking whiskey tour for myself and my wife. We were very excited. We found out two weeks before the date that my wife was pregnant. I messaged your organization to try to slide the dates back as I mentioned, we were excited. I was told the roster was set in stone, no refunds no changes. We decided to have the baby and not the tour. Enjoy MY money. I feel I made the correct choice. I will continue to tell everyone I can about this experience. read more

The tour guide, David, was great! He provided lots of information with whit, without being overly comedic, like some guides tend to try doing. He also made everyone in our group feel included and made it a point to ask for input from the group. I would recommend it for whisky and history buffs alike. read more

Long Boring walks, They were not prepared! We did not think much of the tour and the guide. The 1st Guide showed up 15 minutes late, We thought that was not bad. Then the actual guide showed up another 10 minutes later and seemed drunk or stoned. He could not speak in complete sentences and everyone had a hard time following his line of thought because he was all over the place. The tour was long, not interesting, very boring. The best part was when we made it to the distillery and got to sample the first drink. but the distillery was messy, water standing on floor, noisy and hot. The building inspector would have had a field day with that place. Sorry, will not be recommending! Many other tours are better. read more
