This is an email exchange from the business account of the owners of the company.

Extremely rude, pretentious, inappropriate, unprofessional owner(s? No idea which one is contacting me from their business account at 2am to try and "poverty shame" someone who would have been a paying customer, but I would put my money on the husband). Don't know if one or both are involved in the disrespectful email exchange I've had with them this week, but I'll gladly forward it to anyone who would like to read it for themselves. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I booked their Whiskey History Outlaws tour with Will. It was the best way to spend our afternoon. We appreciate all of the little details and careful thought that went into this tour. We try to support small businesses everywhere we go. Will has serious knowledge, amazing recommendations, the best stories, and by the time we were done we felt like friends. That's a trait that's truly special. We loved every minute and the gratitude we have for what you do is immense. Thank you PS If you're on the fence about getting the drinks at the end, do it, we did, it was amazing!

Yeehaw! We had a good old time being shown around Denver as it was in the old west. Our guide, Whiskey Dick, has a ridiculous amount of knowledge of all things Denver, Old West and Bourbons and whiskies. We got the drink package which included a special whiskey tasting glass and a flight to try it out on. 10/10 would do it again! He had some great recommendations for us, and we are going to try Petticoats Pistols and Pubs next!

Used this group for a bachelorette party for a bunch of out of towners and we had an absolute blast. Rachel was the sweetest she even made a video of our outing. She was engaging, knowledgeable, personable, and made us all feel like a best friend was taking us around the city. Great food spots and loved the history. Highly recommended!

My husband and I took the Whiskey, History, and Outlaws tour, and had a really fantastic time. Our tour guide Will was super knowledgeable and very entertaining. The tour was interactive, too - we did a few group activities along the way, so it wasn't just Will talking to us the whole time. As out of towners, the tour gave us a fun introduction to Denver. Will also offered great food and drink recommendations for the rest of our trip.

Our tour guide Carla was amazing! My sister and I enjoyed hearing the great history, stories, and up-in-coming businesses from someone who clearly loves Denver. We received fantastic recommendations for food, drinks, and hiking as well. If you're visiting Denver, you must take this tour!!

My friend and I decide to try out a ghost tour while we were in Denver last year and I am so happy…read morewe ended up going with Nightly Spirits! We booked the two and a half hour Ghost Tour and Pub Crawl in the LoDo Neighborhood. This not only meant we got to check out some of the cooler bars in the area, but got to hear their history and hear some pretty spooky stories. We stopped at 5 bars/pubs along with a couple stops on the street in between. The guide was very passionate about the history and stories he was telling. He even dressed up in old-timey clothes to set the mood. If we ever go back to Denver, we definitely plan on booking a different tour through Nightly Spirits!

The guide was named Hailey and she was nice enough, but soon it became apparent that there was too much talking on this tour and not enough action. Every ghost or haunting was connected to the brothel industry or a bar and nothing new has been hsunted over the years. The only truly interesting story was of a photo hanging at the Celtic ( where you spend your first 20 minutes). Nothing can be verified though and these stories all seem to handed down via mouth, rather than paper. Another problem was the tour started in one place, but ended in Union Station and if your visiting for the first time like me, she doesn't tell you how to get back to your car. Hailey is clearly underpaid counting on a $10 bonus from the cheap owners of this national company. The tour starts out boring and never recovers. Also, there are some shameful plugs for restaurants that they want you to eat at after you finish. Secretly paid sponsors.

Vacation Food Tours managed to put together a very well thought out itinerary that took into consideration each persons specific tastes as well as food allergies. The food was great and I really liked the gluten free options that were provided. Walking from one venue to another offered us a chance to digest food so that I could eat more at the next destination! Overall great food and excellent customer service. What I liked most is that it took the guess work out of where to eat, especially considering the wide array of food choices in Chicago. Great experience overall!! We had VACATION FOOD TOURS prepare a personal food tour for our 2 1/2 day visit. This was our first visit to NY and so we were interested in packing in as much as possible. Our tour included food as well as sights. We had an aggressive agenda and managed to hit 14+ restaurants. Be advised, you should really share your food or you will never make it through the tour. The idea is to try the most amazing dish at each location. Don't think that you will go broke eating at each restaurant. Some of the stops were less than $5 to try a dish. Not all stops are sit down restaurants either. While the calorie intake may scare you, if you follow the tour prepared by VACATION FOOD TOURS you will walk off your food and see the sights at the same time. This is a must-do tour for any foodie. We had an amazing Kobe burger and the most fabulous Mexican dish. I would love to tell you the names of these restaurants, but you'll just have to contact VACATION FOOD TOURS for your personalized tour. Our last stop on the tour was Central Park, and although it wasn't written on our agenda, we just happened to run into Yoko Ono who was also enjoying the park. If you are planning a trip and love food you must do one of these food tours!

They offer free tours, which involves watching a short clip about the history of Hammond and then watching the employees work through a looking glass. It was neat learning about this candy business; I've never heard about it. I love learning origin stories because it gives me an idea of the company's values. I think it's amazing that they HAND MAKE all their candies. They have cute paper hats that you can wear. In addition, there are some areas for good photo opportunities. After the tour, you are gifted with a candy cane! You are then led into their candy store. You obviously don't have to purchase anything, but to complete the experience, it doesn't hurt to walk away with some chocolate. (: I'm not from Colorado, so I'm not sure if the prices were cheaper or more expensive than the grocery store (I'm going to assume more expensive). Regardless, we did buy some things. I got a Hammond chocolate bar, some discounted chocolate from their clearance section, and their popular Mitchell Sweets. The Mitchell sweet is $2 for a small packet! My husband liked it, but I thought it was extremely sweet and I only took the tiniest bite. I feel like that little packet can go a long way because of the sweetness. They charge $0.10 for a bag. I didn't want to pay for a bag, so I just used my paper hat as a tray. lol Overall, I did enjoy the visit. I like that it was free and candy cane gift at the end was the sweet cherry on top of the tour.

Pickup was right in front of Union Station, and the tour started right on time (a few people in our group were running behind, of course haha). We made several stops along the way, and every single one had amazing views. We even got to see some wildlife: bighorn rams, elk, and a fox! Aaron was great about pulling over so everyone could grab photos whenever we spotted something cool. Also, with the 114th anniversary of the Titanic approaching, I figured I should learn more about the disaster's one of the most prominent survivors. My tour guide (Eli) was very informative and they talked about a lot of the inticracies of the house that I wouldn't have noticed if I had wandered around the house by myself, including details about the staircase and the method of constructing it, the wallpaper, stained glass, etc. I was particularly fascinated by how Margaret Brown leveraged her high profile status as a Titanic wreck survivor to fight for various causes such as women's suffrage, who she really was behind the legend of "Molly Brown," and the history of the house after its sale (how it became a group home for girls, and their antics of painting the lions up front and throwing things at the people passing by on the sidewalk). Definitely grateful for Eli's expertise -- shows they're really passionate about passing down the local history to the community and beyond. I left with more knowledge than I expected to learn. Thank you Eli! It was also great that the house itself contained a good number of original pieces of the house from back in the 1910s, which isn't always the case with historical houses. There was also a little back room that had original pieces from the White Star Line so people could see the plates and other things that passengers on the Titanic would have used, as well as a super detailed model of the ship itself. Will definitely be recommending this tour for anyone who plans to go to Denver.
