Went on a guided tour of the Molly Brown House on 4/8/2026. I was in Denver for work and I always enjoy learning about local history where I travel. Also, with the 114th anniversary of the Titanic approaching, I figured I should learn more about the disaster's one of the most prominent survivors. My tour guide (Eli) was very informative and they talked about a lot of the inticracies of the house that I wouldn't have noticed if I had wandered around the house by myself, including details about the staircase and the method of constructing it, the wallpaper, stained glass, etc. I was particularly fascinated by how Margaret Brown leveraged her high profile status as a Titanic wreck survivor to fight for various causes such as women's suffrage, who she really was behind the legend of "Molly Brown," and the history of the house after its sale (how it became a group home for girls, and their antics of painting the lions up front and throwing things at the people passing by on the sidewalk). Definitely grateful for Eli's expertise -- shows they're really passionate about passing down the local history to the community and beyond. I left with more knowledge than I expected to learn. Thank you Eli! It was also great that the house itself contained a good number of original pieces of the house from back in the 1910s, which isn't always the case with historical houses. There was also a little back room that had original pieces from the White Star Line so people could see the plates and other things that passengers on the Titanic would have used, as well as a super detailed model of the ship itself. Will definitely be recommending this tour for anyone who plans to go to Denver. read more

Our tour of the D&F Tower on 16th St was great! We had never been up despite being Denver natives. The views...Spectacular!...Adrenalin Rush?...just enough while out on the observation decks!...A true Denver landmark that would be a great easy tour for anyone. Elevator is about 25ft from the curb, up to the 17th floor for the initial views from the lower observation deck. 3 flights of stairs to the upper deck views. No stairs at all to get on the 17th floor deck. Highly recommended! read more

We were going to be heading thru Denver on our way to see my son and wanted something interesting to do. I am always up for a historical adventure and this one did not fail. Titanic artifacts made it a plus! We chose the self guided tour, but staff were available to answer any questions. The only down side was it was a bit warm, which is to be expected from an older building, and also, the one hour seemed a bit rushed. We had the final reservation for the day, and as such, missed out on the gift store as it closed promptly at 5. It would be nice to keep it open at least 30 minutes after the final tour. Other than that, a great field trip destination for all ages! read more

Rebecca was a fabulous tour guide. She talked about the geology of the houses built out of Rhyolite and Castle Rock Sandstone. We also learned about "poets row" that was constructed after the great depression. Poets row is an eclectic group of apartments, named after famous poets and other writers. This tour is well worth one's time to understand Denvers rich history as a supplier to mining communities during the gold rush. A time when many individuals became wealthy overnight. I loved having a little information basket in each room so you can read more about the specific room and sometimes you have a sample of the wallpaper etc. in the basket to hold and examine closer. such a cool place. read more

Milly Browns story and what she stood for lies way beyond the Titanic. I got goosebumps walking through the home and the audio, just made it that much better. We opted for the self-guided tour. Easy to book and drive to. Adequately priced. All staff are very kind. No video-recording, which is understandable, but photos without flash are allowed. I am a bit of a Titanic enthusiast, and was surprised to learn the "Unsinkable Molly Brown" lived in Denver! Of course we had to visit her house. Loved learning about her and what she did for others. You aren't allowed to touch anything (it's a museum), but I was really tempted to play the Titanic theme song on the piano! There are "touch boxes" in each of the rooms. Nice relaxed way to spend my birthday :) They have a pressed penny machine in their gift shop for any of you who also collect!! read more

Eric's tour of LoDo this past Sunday was excellent. In a district where buildings from 1918 stand next to buildings from 2018, he did a great job at making the tour fluid and engaging. I'll now always remember his anecdotes about the the numbered vs. named streets and ghost adverts in leaded paint each time I walk through that neighborhood. read more
