I loved this tour bus so much and I think Yelp knows I did, so they even made my picture the icon for Colorado Brewery Bus! There are two different tours, but since we already had tickets to the New Belgium Brewery, we opted for the other one including: Avery, Oskar Blues, Fate, and Left Hand. We got picked up in a Wal-mart parking lot if my memory serves me correctly, and then we went to another stop to pick up some other people. The website didn't say this, or maybe I missed it, but they actually supply beer on the bus! One of the other guys brought beers and stuck it in the cooler they supplied for everyone to help themselves to. The bus was decorated in all sorts of hanging Oskar Blues cans and stickers from the breweries. Our driver had some trouble with the directions, I think the told us this was her 2nd day on the job, but we didn't sweat it. I would recommend this to anyone who A) likes beer, B) is visiting Colorado C) lives in Colorado D) is awesome. Cheers! read more

The mere concept of this bus warrants four stars. It picks you up, drives you to Fort Collins, lets you drink at four breweries (New Belgium, FCB, Equinox and Odell's) and then takes you home. Pure. Genius. What gets them 5 stars is the fact that they are a well oiled machine. This isn't some fly by night company. They pick you up when they say they're going to pick you up and they leave when they say they'll leave. Upon getting to the bus at 9:15 am, the driver, Kevin, checked me in and said, "Help yourself to a beer in the cooler." S'buh?! Ok, Kev, I surely will! I think that's there earliest I've ever had a beer besides a red beer. But it was nice. And the beer just kept flowing like wine. Plus, they create a playlist based on music requests you submit when you buy your ticket, which is a really cool bonus, unless you happen to be riding with people who have bad taste in music (I'm looking at you whoever requested all the Jimmy Buffet songs), which was slightly the case on my tour, but that's not the Brewery Bus's fault. I blame society for the amount of Matchbox 20 and Maroon 5 that was played. I digress. This is a great, reliable, friendly company that let's you be responsibly irresponsible and have a great time actually getting to enjoy beer. Who want's a DUI? Yeah me neither. The Brew Bus is a perfect way to check out 4 Fort Collins Breweries responsibly. We stopped at New Belgium first and went on their 90 minute brewery tour. This is a great stop as you'll learn more about beer and get about 6 samples along the tour. From there we went to Ft Collins for lunch and a flight, the food was very good! The last two stops were kind of blur, Equinox and Odells. I was surprised with Odells, in a good way. The Deconstruction and Meddler were both great beers and probably my favorites along the trip. Unless you have a friend that wants to play designated driver all day, I would recommend the brew bus. They provide drinks along the way to keep or maintain your buzz from stop to stop and will even play requests ... no matter how bad they are. We selected the Colorado Brewery Bus as an activity to do while on a Bachelorette party...and it was an AWESOME decision. The bride to be had an absolute blast and the rest of our party had a great time too. The whole concept of providing a driver to take people up to the breweries in Fort Collins is genius, especially for those of us who live in Denver but either 1) dont want to stay over night in FoCo or 2) all want to experience the tours instead of picking a DD. Plus, getting to go on the New Belgium tour with the group instead of putting in a reservation for the tour two to three months in advance is a huge perk! Our driver Katelyn (sp?) was awesome and very nice, providing a few beers for us on the way up and having water on hand throughout the day was great...and essential. The bus was on time and we had a great time making friends with all of the other people on the bus! I would recommend the Colorado Brewery Bus to anyone, and in fact, I plan on taking another one of their tours up through Longmont & Boulder! So fun and so worth it! read more

We stopped at 4 fort Collins breweries with one of those being a tour CBB booked for us at New Belgium. We had lunch at fort collins brewery, which was excellent. We had an awesome experience on the Colorado Brewery Bus. We had a great driver and there is nothing like a little day drinking to get to know your fellow bus-mates, who were all fun as well. The bus was right on time and we cruised up to Ft. Collins for the New Belgium tour, which was great. Lots of beer along the tasting and we were able to sample freshly bottled Fat Tire that was a young 15 minutes old. We really enjoyed the Yuzu and Paardebloem, a limited-edition dandelion based beer. We then cruised over to Ft. Collins Brewery and had lunch at Gravity 1020 restaurant. You must try the bacon wrapped pretzels. Bacon really does make everything taste better. Equinox was next on our list and we had plenty more samples to keep exploring Northern Colorado's amazing craft brew scene. Finally we wrapped up at Odell's and there isn't a bad beer on the menu, so taste 'em all! The ride back went by quickly when a bus-member hijacked the radio and organized a dance party on the way back. Well played. If you've ever read some of the reviews of the myriad of other tour companies populating our beloved cowtown, you will notice one thing about C.B.B.that stands out - nothing but great reviews. If our experience with them was typical, then I can say that they have earned their praise. I know that these reviews are starting to sound like a broken record, but what else can I add? Kevin was on time, took us to where they promised, provided us with road beers (a small complaint about the selection - it looked like leftovers from a company softball game - really? Coors light on a craft beer tour?...). He even had a flat tire along the way, and still kept the schedule afloat. Got a sweet deal thru Living Social (I think it was LS, at least), but would have been worth it at full price. A word to the wise about all "beer tours": Almost none actually arrange tours for you. This one arranges you the best tour in the state, and makes very clear that's the only official tour. Others that I have seen imply that they are something more than a glorified car service, when that's all they are. Cheers, for a great time! read more

Wait, wait, wait...I can ride a bus to Ft. Collins and visit breweries?! Yes, yes you can...and should. A fantastic idea, and a well organized one. This was about as easy as it gets, which made the day all that more fun. We visited New Belgium (probably the best tour you'll ever go on), Ft. Collins Brewery, Equinox, and Odells during a beautiful Saturday afternoon in September. The tour of New Belgium is worth it alone really, as it's so hard to get tours on Saturdays these days. I wish we could have done Funkworks instead of Ft. Collins Brewery, but the nice thing about FCB is that they have food. Equinox was solid, and Odells was fantastic. New Belgium is the only tour you go on, but there are plenty of taster samplers and pints to be purchased at the others. A great operation that makes for a very fun day full of beer and friends...the way days should be. read more

UPDATE - Boulder/Longmont Tour. I recently spent a Sunday touring a few breweries in the Boulder/Longmont area, courtesy of the "Brewery Bus" (not sure if she is still named 'Bessie' or not??). Avery was the first stop (AWESOME place to visit, with outstanding beers and a great 'tour' of the sours room). Next up was Oskar Blues (OB) in Longmont (the 'Tasty Weasel' tasting room was fun and the bartender took care of us, with free tastings and friendly service). Third on the tour was a place called the 'Pumphouse' in Longmont...boo! I was not a fan of this place. Service, food and MOST important - the beers, were lackluster. Plus having lunch after 3PM on a beer tour was not the best idea (note to the owner...perhaps replace the 'Pumphouse' with 'Southern Sun' in Boulder, and then have OB third on the tour...). Our last stop of the day was at Left Hand Brewery, in Longmont. Left Hand was packed on this Sunday evening (it was after 5PM), and the beers were simply okay...I have had them all many times, and the bar staff did not make any recommendations on special beers or tap room only offerings. As this was my 2nd tour with the Colorado Brewery Bus, I pretty much knew what to expect. One difference was our driver/tour guide though - Steve. Steve is not the owner (unless something changed), but was friendly and did speak, when we spoke to him. I am not sure if Steve has gone on the tours too many times though, as he did not seem very interested in sharing the experience with us. But he did seem like a nice enough guy, and did get us from downtown Denver and back again, without a hitch! read more

A group of friends and I visited Colorado from California with the sole purpose of tasting what beers Denver has to offer. We booked our tour a month in advanced online and did not have any sort of issues with booking whatsoever. We received a confirmation email from CO Brewery Bus almost instantly after booking. We were scheduled to be picked up from the Wazee St. pick up at 5:15PM. The email even instructed us to be early, which we were. Our group waited and waited and waited. It eventually started raining (because of course it did). Approximately 25 minutes passed by and still no sign of the bus picking us up. We eventually called the company hoping for some answers. They told us that their bus broke down and were working on a solution. They told us that they would call us back in 10 minutes whether or not they were going to pick us up. Great. 20 minutes later and they inform us that they wouldn't be able to accommodate our tour for the evening. They did offer a full refund, which is fine. This biggest issue was the fact that the company did not contact us or notify us that they were running late or even that they were having issues. As a customer, being notified of any sort of issues with a reservation is absolutely imperative, especially for us being from out of town. As a company, don't instruct your customer to be on time (their email even requested to be early) and then don't provide the customer any notification that you're running late (isn't that the company's job to do?) and then inform the customer that you can't accommodate them. Isn't that the point of making a reservation? Don't they check their busses to make sure that can accommodate their reservations? At the point in the day, it was already too late to book any other tour. Very unprofessional. read more

Who wants to head to Boulder (or Ft. Collins) and spend an entire day drinking at four different breweries, going on brewery tours, and basking in the glory of living in a beer mecca?! Everyone does! Okay, now who wants to stay sober and drive everyone there and back safely? The Colorado Brewery Bus does! The concept of the Colorado Brewery Bus couldn't be easier. They pick you up from one of the two stations in Denver and then they proceed to drive you to Avery, Fate (lunch stop), Oskar Blues, and Left Hand. At the end of the tour, they drive you back to Denver and drop you off at the designated stop. I'd say the bus could hold about 20 people, but on the Sunday that my husband and I headed to Boulder, we were the only two on the bus - private tour! Our driver was friendly and had a cooler up front in case we wanted a) water or b) to store any bombers we may have purchased while brewery hopping. Keep your eye out for deals because if you book through Yelp, you can get a discount! Also, if you book a group of people, you can get a discounted rate. Even without the discount, this is a lot cheaper and way, way more responsible and fun than the repercussions of driving and drinking! Ok so I show up with my sister at the alameda station stop today. We re waiting there with 2 others. Bus doesn't show up. I have to call, and they say the driver went to a different stop because there were construction cones. Wtf? So after she finally comes over to pick us up, we can relax get comfy... Little did we know the 50 dollars each we spent doesn't cover anything during the day... No food, no beer at the brewery, no tour. Nothing. Did I mention we never actually going to a brewery? Not only that, but our driver didn't even do/say anything.... She's a school bus driver who didn't seem to know anything about the tour. What did I pay for??? An expensive taxi that's what. We enjoyed both the Ft. Collins and Boulder/Longmont tours during GABF weekend. At first I was a little miffed because it took 3 emails to find out how to buy tickets for GABF weekend. Then the tickets didn't go on-sale when we were told they would. Then leading up to the trip we get emails offering 20% off the tours which was a bummer because I felt like I had to work harder than I should have to get the tickets and now my buddy and I each could have saved $25. That's a few beers right there. Moving on from the ticketing issues though, the bus was clean and our driver had a cooler up front with some beers and water in it. Nice unexpected touch. Our driver was also very polite. The Ft. Collins tour was a blast. Starting off at New Belgium is huge! A beautiful facility and their tour is amazing! Then we went to Ft. Collins Brewing Co. for lunch and were all given a free flight of their year round beers. Equinox was a really cool small brewer with a great back patio we enjoyed some beers on. Tour wrapped up at O'dells which was another gorgeous building/brewery. At home ours are all industrial warehouse spaces it seems. As for the Boulder/Longmont tour, we made it to Avery fairly quickly and the driver informed us we had about 2 hours there. Avery is more of the industrial space type brewery and sitting at their bar in their tasting room for 2 hrs was a bit intimidating. I mean, you can really tie one on in that time frame. This is no knock on Avery, their beers are great. I think the day's itinerary should be adjusted a bit. Next was Fate and lunch was good there. The group agreed we wanted to spend more time at Oskar Blues and our driver was happy to adjust the time we spent at Fate so we could do so. Oskar Blues was awesome and so was Left Hand Brewing Co. I think less time should be spent at Avery and more at Left Hand. They had a band playing and cornhole outside. Plus, at the end of the day the group has had a day spent drinking beers, have become friends and are able to sit and enjoy together easier than at the 1st brewery. One other suggestion, they should build a bathroom break into the ride home. Each time someone eventually asked, but if it was just a given it might save some people from doing squirmish dances until someone couldn't take it and asked the driver. Driver was happy to accommodate both days. Overall our two days on the Colorado Brewery Bus were a blast. I think a few small changes could make it even better, but man in the end we got to go to 8 breweries in 2 days, drink a ton of beer and not have to worry about who was driving. Totally worth it. Hope to take the tours again next year! read more

Great way to see some popular breweries in the area without worrying about driving. The bus doesn't do a whole lot, just gets you there with good company. Plenty of time to enjoy a tour and/or food at each stop. Meet some fun people on the bus, have some great craft brew... can't beat that. I would have given this deal 5 stars but for 1 glaring problem. On the day we went, they left without being aware that O'Dells was CLOSED today! That was VERY high on my list, we paid for a stop there, and the replacement (Funk something) was unimpressive. And without the Denver Daily Deal, this would be expensive to the point of not being worth it to me. They ended up taking us to a lunch place (Gravity 1020 Modern Tavern) that was quite expensive, and it took them 75 minutes to get us our food. They said they were having a problem with their kitchen. Ya think?! It's not the bus company's responsibility to make this right, but you are at their mercy on where to go... Other than those 2 points this is really cool! read more

Fun (and safe!) way to visit multiple breweries in one day, and eat some food along the way. We went to breweries I probably wouldn't have gone to on our own, due to the fact we would be driving. Driver was super friendly, good tunes were on the radio, and we had plenty of time to enjoy some beers (and even a tour at one brewery) at each stop. I think this tour could be improved by a host on the bus that actually does something for the fee other than the rather boring driver who just took us from place to place. Some history on the breweries or a game in between locales or something?... Just a suggestion... New Belgium is awesome and they do an amazing job about everything they do there from product to packaging to employee satisfaction. It would have been nice to know something about the other places we went. Especially since we happen to live in Fort Collins. Took a bachelor party group on the Sunday Fort Collins tour. Colorado Brewery Bus bent over backwards ensuring that all the members of our group were accommodated... holding spots, keeping me up to date with bookings, and providing a discount code for our large group. Booking things for large groups can be stressful and CBB made it super easy! The day of the tour was fantastic. The time spent on the bus and at the breweries was seamless... we never felt rushed and our drive was great. We have been on several pub crawls, and this was a great one. Short trip out of Denver gave more time at each brewery during the day out. Our driver Josh had the timing down and gave us gentle reminders as it was time to drink up and move on. We had an enjoyable stop at each brewery. Avery had a great tap room .... must see. Faith brewery had a brunch/lunch stop as well as some interesting beers I hadn't tried before. Oskar Blues had a 2 man band and gave us a brewery tour, then sunny seating indoor or out. Left Hand brewery had a guitar player, outdoor games, and a Left Hand 4 women calendar. Found my favorite T-shirt there. Really fun day. read more

SO AWESOME!!!! Convenient, organized and so.much.amazing.beer! So great for out of town guest too! Not only worth every penny, but this company's customer service is PHENOMENAL for the following: 1. I bought a Groupon and couldn't use it within the dates that it was valid. I emailed Josh at Colorado brewery bus and he said he would let me use it at the discounted rate that I paid through Groupon whenever I wanted. 2. Once I finally made it on the bus tour I bought a growler of beer and upon leaving the bus I forgot it. I didn't realize it till the next morning and I called and left Josh a message and he said my driver Caitlin had it in her fridge in Golden unopened and would bring it to Denver for me. 3. While on the bus tour one of the stops was closed for a private event unexpectedly. No one on the bus batted an eye as Caitlin took us to another awesome brewery as replacement. But the next day we all got vouchers for another free brewery bus tour since we weren't able yo go to 1 of the 4 stops. I love CO Brewery Bus!!!! read more

Hired this bus privately for our annual bus party. Trying to get an email back is near to impossible. I planned the outing for 3 months and they call 1/2 hour before our pickup time to cancel our trip to Longmont! Apparently they took the bus in the night before for a water pump and it wasn't ready in time for our trip. First, he should have let me know the night before there might be an issue with the bus. Second, his job is transportation so get on the phone and figure out a backup just in case. To call 1/2 an hour before taking us is not how to run a business. He offered no solution to the problem, just an I'm sorry I just got done yelling at the mechanic, sorry but that does me no good! Unprofessional! No bus backups! read more
