I was searching for things to do while we were on our beerymoon in Denver and lo and behold, I stumbled across this gem! We knew we were in for a treat when we were greeted by the tour guide and she was dressed in character of a saloon type girl. She took us to 4-5 locations and told us of hauntings and happenings that occurred at each. We had time for a drink or two at each stop before being whisked away to the next bar. We got to go to the Oxford Hotel which is normally not on the tour so that was awesome! If you're looking for something semi spooky, fun and boozy to do, hop on one of these tours!

We had a blast! Did the Groupon for Our bachelorette party and loved it! Hit like 4-5 bars while Walking around Savannah to learn about haunted landmarks. It was a great walking tour and our guide was awesome. He put up with our shenanigans for 10 rowdy women! Lol! I would absolutely recommend this company for a boozy haunted walking tour!!

Our tour guide, Drew, gave us an experience beyond our expectations! He was so knowledgeable and entertaining. A fantastic story teller and an all around nice guy! You can tell he definitely has a passion for what he does. My only regret was that it ended way too soon. Hope they decide to do an extended tour one day! Thanks again, Drew, for a memorable experience!

Joaquium made our experience so great! My friend and I took a trip out to Denver this year and wanted to experience some unique things and this tour was perfect! We had a large group of at least 10 people and he did a great job keeping everyone together and engaged. He did perfect with timing, giving us adequate time at each bar to listen to him and then grab a drink. He even gave good time notices and reminders. He brought us to a few bars as well as some stops between the bars. He was VERY knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about. He was funny and also very professional. A few ladies came already having a few drinks and he handled it very well and professionally. He went above and beyond and nightly spirits is lucky to have him! It was obvious he was passionate about the tour. Highly would recommend!

Kendrick was such a fun tour guide :)

So we basically ended up having a private tour because we were the only couple that booked (probably bc of weather) and I will honestly say.. WE HAD A BLAST! Kendrick was our tour guide and he was incredible! So knowledgeable on the history of Denver and super entertaining! We learned a LOT and might've even had a little ghost encounter in our first stop.. :) We will definitely look up these tours from now on, wherever we vacation, in the future. Thank you Kendrick for giving us an amazing night to remember on our honeymoon in Denver!

We appreciate all of the little details and careful thought that went into this tour. We try to support small businesses everywhere we go. Will has serious knowledge, amazing recommendations, the best stories, and by the time we were done we felt like friends. That's a trait that's truly special. We loved every minute and the gratitude we have for what you do is immense. Thank you PS If you're on the fence about getting the drinks at the end, do it, we did, it was amazing!

I really enjoyed learning about the area's history and recent revitalization. I love it when cities can repurpose old buildings rather than tear them down. The tour started and ended at the train station which is an impressive building and is nicely air conditioned which helped us cool down at the end of the tour. The earbuds made it easy to hear throughout the tour even when there was traffic noise. Definitely bring plenty of water if it's hot out; there is shade which helps, but it is a walking tour so be prepared to be outside for the majority of the time. I was very happy I was wearing my sun hat. This was a fun activity and it was great to learn about the area of Denver where we were staying.

Vacation Food Tours managed to put together a very well thought out itinerary that took into consideration each persons specific tastes as well as food allergies. The food was great and I really liked the gluten free options that were provided. Walking from one venue to another offered us a chance to digest food so that I could eat more at the next destination! Overall great food and excellent customer service. What I liked most is that it took the guess work out of where to eat, especially considering the wide array of food choices in Chicago. Great experience overall!! Will use their services in other cities as well.

We had VACATION FOOD TOURS prepare a personal food tour for our 2 1/2 day visit. This was our first visit to NY and so we were interested in packing in as much as possible. Our tour included food as well as sights. We had an aggressive agenda and managed to hit 14+ restaurants. Be advised, you should really share your food or you will never make it through the tour. The idea is to try the most amazing dish at each location. Don't think that you will go broke eating at each restaurant. Some of the stops were less than $5 to try a dish. Not all stops are sit down restaurants either. While the calorie intake may scare you, if you follow the tour prepared by VACATION FOOD TOURS you will walk off your food and see the sights at the same time. This is a must-do tour for any foodie. We had an amazing Kobe burger and the most fabulous Mexican dish. I would love to tell you the names of these restaurants, but you'll just have to contact VACATION FOOD TOURS for your personalized tour. Our last stop on the tour was Central Park, and although it wasn't written on our agenda, we just happened to run into Yoko Ono who was also enjoying the park. If you are planning a trip and love food you must do one of these food tours!

They offer free tours, which involves watching a short clip about the history of Hammond and then watching the employees work through a looking glass. It was neat learning about this candy business; I've never heard about it. I love learning origin stories because it gives me an idea of the company's values. I think it's amazing that they HAND MAKE all their candies. They have cute paper hats that you can wear. In addition, there are some areas for good photo opportunities. After the tour, you are gifted with a candy cane! You are then led into their candy store. You obviously don't have to purchase anything, but to complete the experience, it doesn't hurt to walk away with some chocolate. (: I'm not from Colorado, so I'm not sure if the prices were cheaper or more expensive than the grocery store (I'm going to assume more expensive). Regardless, we did buy some things. I got a Hammond chocolate bar, some discounted chocolate from their clearance section, and their popular Mitchell Sweets. The Mitchell sweet is $2 for a small packet! My husband liked it, but I thought it was extremely sweet and I only took the tiniest bite. I feel like that little packet can go a long way because of the sweetness. They charge $0.10 for a bag. I didn't want to pay for a bag, so I just used my paper hat as a tray. lol Overall, I did enjoy the visit. I like that it was free and candy cane gift at the end was the sweet cherry on top of the tour.

What they work on varies throughout the year so it may not look the same if you come multiple times. The best part is getting a full-size piece of candy at the end - we got candy canes (maybe that's what it always is?). You end the your at the candy store which is nice but mostly overpriced. If you only want the candy you can go to a Lolli Pops store - they were acquired by Hammond's and now sell the same goodies at their stores. In short, kind of fun to do but wouldn't go out of my way to do this. Best if paired with something else nearby which is what we did, a playground not too far away (there isn't much very close to the factory).

PRO TIP: try avoiding the most back row if you have long legs or any stress with mobility. Because once you sit there, the seat is assigned and you will have to deal with being cramped in a tighter space. And you basically are always the last one to get off. This was one of the biggest cons. Moving on, the tour itself was great. We stopped by a cafe on the way to and back, for food and bathroom breaks, and pretty soon, the van took us to the Rocky Mountain with beautiful views and even saw many wildlife - the big horn sheep, elk, deer (i think), and, not to forget, smaller animals like birds, mouse, and chipmunks, but no moose spotted. Nonetheless, the breathtaking view of the Rockies is certainly worth the journey. The guide was very knowledgeable about trees and shared many stories about the places and tips for visiting Denver in general! She also took us to a few Native American owed stores that featured indigenous art that were very cool to see. One thing to note is that I think the Colorado Sightseer, the tour company, had listed at least two slightly different itineraries, and I might have been sent to the one I did not pick. I noticed because I intentionally picked the tour with visits to two visitor centers, vs the one I went on only took us to Beaver Meadows. Not a big deal bc I did get still get my stamp, and the tour used most of the day's time efficiently by visiting many attractions. But this might be something you want to make sure if the stops matter a lot to you. Nonetheless, with a group tour, it is understandable and expected for the itinerary to potentially change. For instance, the day I went, the tour guide actually too us to visit places in different order to avoid crowds. Another thing to really appreciate is that the tour provided some snacks, extra gloves/beanies, which were really a lifesaver in the cold mountains. I know I was not fully prepared for it and so glad I could borrower some!
