We went…read moreone time at 10:30pm and had to wait a long time... in fact, while we were in line, we upgraded to the VIP so that we could skip the line. The second time we were with a bigger group, and went at 8:30pm, and did not have to wait that long. AND, the actors felt more fresh during the 8:30 versus the 10:30 time slot. I think they do a really nice job here, it was very spooky! And let's just put the price aside... everything is expensive these days. There are plenty of out-houses to use, some snacks and drinks for sale... I didn't plan on going twice this year, but I'm glad I did, I had fun both times!

Right now it's listed as an and that's just wild to me because this haunted house is SO GOOD! I think main negative feedback is the long wait time. We came opening weekend Sunday 2026 when they opened and were really close to the front of the line. They didn't get going until about 15 minutes after opening. Waited "in line" about 15 minutes. And then the haunt itself is fairly lengthy. We were there for about an hour and 20 minutes. Totally got our money's worth. This is a very unique experience and I think it's legitimately the best haunt in Colorado. Actors are great, they're having fun and don't take themselves too seriously but are still committed to great scares. They were all totally professional. We talked to them, and they stayed in character but worked off our conversation which made it even more immersive. Lots of scares and laughs. Highly recommend!

I was under the impression haunted houses would not be happening due to COVID this year so when I…read moresaw this, I thought it would be a unique experience. A little bummed when I found out haunted houses in fact were still being put on but oh well. There's a lot of mixed reviews here on prices saying it was extremely expensive, I'm not sure why, our ticket was $40 for the car so $20 each, which is less then your average haunted house. The VIP ticket (which is not worth it) is $60/car. I believe at our showing there was one VIP person who was maybe 300 feet ahead of us. The movie/show they put on is pretty corny and cringe worthy, but I was more there for the scare factor anyways. When we first got there I was bummed because we'd packed the back of the car with blankets and pillows to get cozy like at a regular drive in movie, but you pull in forward and stay in your front seat. I was also hesitant because it was really bright, but they put on a ton of smoke/fog machines so the people do sometimes appear out of nowhere. I thought their costumes were pretty freaky looking in the dark (not sure about quality otherwise), and I think they did a good job splitting up their time spent at each car. That being said I think there were less then 10 cars at my showing (Tuesday 9:10pm), and I could see this being far more difficult then on a busier day. They gave us a good fright a couple times, but nowhere near as scary as a typical haunted house.

I was hesitant to go to any haunted houses or cornfields amid COVID, so this seemed like the next…read morebest thing. I decided to surprise my husband with this little adventure. We paid $50 for regular admission (VIP is $70 and gets you closer to the screen). Overall, I'm not sure I'd enthusiastically recommend but it was entertaining enough. It's essentially a 30ish minute drive in movie that involves songs and a couple of short horror film clips (seemingly more student produced than Hollywood quality). While that's all going on, there are costumed actors walking around to scare the cars. You can have your windows up and listen via a radio station or keep them down and listen through the speakers. While the films themselves were a bit laughable, the live actors did spook me a couple of times. I read it's ok for families and while I agree that kids won't be super scared, some of the movie content was a little mature (but they did bleep out expletives), so I'm not sure I'd bring young children. This was definitely a sign of the times and probably not something I'd return to, but I'm glad we gave it a shot! We laughed and relaxed in the warm comfort of our car which you can't say the same about those waiting for the haunted house next door.

Do. Not. Go. On. A. Weekend!…read more Yikes! We got in the line at 8pm on a Saturday night and didn't actually go into the haunted house until 11:30pm...3.5 hours?!?!?! Not only was the line moving at a snails pace, but there were times where we were literally standing (or resorted to sitting) in the same block on the sidewalk for 20+ minutes with zero movement. At about 9:30pm, a group of 30 soccer players showed up, went to the VIP line and were in and out within an hour, meanwhile, we had moved approximately 30 feet forward. They say they let in two VIP groups for every one regular, but honestly this simply cannot be the case based on how slow we were moving. We also started timing how much time elapsed between groups and there seemed to by no rhyme or reason, sometimes it was a minute, but twice, it got up to three minutes between groups. I love that they want to give you the experience with just your group, however, to be effective, it really needs to be specific days/timed slots, because we would have 100% turned around and come a different day had someone told us we would be waiting for even over 2 hours. As for the haunted house itself, it's sick, it's really well done and in my opinion, a great level of scare. However, after attending Halloween Horror Nights at LA and Orlando's Universal Studios, where the longest amount of time we ever waited was 2 hours, 3.5 for a standalone is downright ridiculous and significantly played into our overall experience.

The guide is totally awesome and I could tell he was very knowledgeable…read more Even skeptical believers in ghosts will enjoy the history of Denver and the compelling storytelling by the guide as a narrator. I brought my whole family and it was enjoyable for all ages from 12 to 77- There is a bit of walking and standing but some chances to sit down. Totally more interesting than walking around the area without information. The fun part (all of it is fun) was going inside Union Station and hearing the history that has been glossed over by historians trying to attract visitors to Denver. As the tour progresses, it gets better and better. By the time we exited Union Station, it was dark and the area was lit up with people enjoying the beautiful evening- you see pedicabs and bicycles, lit buildings and a fountain with lights in addition to the story weaver guide. This is the authentic tour to take.

I get ghost tours are a lot of woowoo and stories, but I genuinely could not believe a word of history this man said because it was so shrouded in his personal opinion. He also would not stop bragging about how versed in research he was. Tour was supposed be two hours but he could not stop talking about stuff we didn't ask that had nothing to do with the tour we missed our reservation. Not to mention, had many indigenous peoples in our group and he kept talking over them telling them about their own culture and that they're wrong. Man was so full of himself I had a genuine bad time.

It was longer and there were a lot of scares because they actually spaced people out enough that you were not able to see people in front of you that much and you were actually surprised. Although I did pay extra for the speed pass which it did matter because we were able to get to the front of the line of our group. There were some pretty cool scenes including a swamp and another with hanging dead bodies. It was about $80 pp for the speed pass which is kinda expensive but worth it to me. They also have probably the largest regular corn maze I've ever been that's separate and free with ur pass. You can also rent out a campfire which seemed cool but we didn't do. All in all a very fun haunted experience!

This place used to be the best haunted attraction in the state of Colorado hands down every year…read more The theme changed every year so it was an entirely new experience each year you went. Crowds were not an issues back in 2021 and 2022. It used to be responsibly priced. This place has fallen off a cliff. No changes in theme for the past 3 years. Extremely limited additions if you can even call them additions. Crowds are abysmal- the entire haunt is a 90 minute line. Start to finish you're packed in like sardines in a can. Completely ruins the experience. Now it's $50 for a single ticket. It's not even like it's the people attending the haunts fault. There are a limited amount of tickets for each time slot, so it has to be the organizers selling way too many tickets diluting the fun for everyone. I can see this place making changes and becoming what it used to be. It seems like many of the scare actors have stayed since the good days. They have the talent and know how they just choose to ruin what they had for a quick buck. Very sad
