Good time was had here with the family! The costumes, make up and sets were awesome. This family run haunted house didn't disappoint, and you could see how popular they are based on the line! Definitely recommend this experience to all fans of haunted houses and this spooky time of year!

I went on Halloween Night 2023 by myself since I love haunted attractions and had to check it out before the season was over. I got the VIP for $10 more than the general admission price, and with online fees, it was like $48. They have a front of the line option for even more, if you're made of money. Parking is free in the dirt lot which was nice, pulled in and parked right away. The VIP line was supposed to be about 1/3 the wait time of the GA and I'd say that was pretty accurate as the GA line was at least 3x as long. I got paired with a group of two (so 3 of us going through together) and we went through the doors after about 20-25 minute wait. The walkthrough was great since it was spaced out well, the people behind didn't catch up and we never saw the people in front of us til the end, so not many scares were spoiled. However, if I could do it again, I'd walk a bit slower because there's a lot of detail love in the sets and costumes and I wanted to take it all in more to fully appreciate it. I'd say the walkthrough lasted maybe 16 minutes so yeah it was about $3/minute if you look at it that way. All of the other side attractions cost extra so I just did the main one. I wish there were a few more actors scattered throughout, but the ones they had were into it at least. I liked the little museum/gift shop at the end, lots of cool horror memorabilia. It's hard to say if VIP is worth it. I was happy that my wait time was no more than twice as long as the attraction, and I thought the attraction was above average in quality and pacing compared to others I have been to in California where you're herded like cattle, but if you're super budget conscious it may seem overpriced based on what you get.

Super good haunted house!!!! Our second year here and definitely coming back for a third! Plenty of amazing costumes and makeup and the jump scares got me every time. Definitely worth a trip! Museum at the end is very cool. So very good!

i'm such a scaredy cat but this place gets me good. and every friend i've brought has always been scared as well. ultimately always a good time!! and easy parking with a fun line.

    * Wait times are over an hour even with VIP tickets. The Haunted House only takes 15min to walk through. * Overselling tickets. It was so packed in the Haunted House that most of the scary parts were ruined by the group ahead. * No scary decor or spooky atmosphere in line area. Weird choice to have a DJ (not playing spooky music) and having employees throw glow sticks from the roof? I came to get scared not to rave. * Haunted House is decorated with rusted junkyard pieces like pots and pans, oil drums, and skis. Barely any gore or horror. * Gave 2 stars strictly for the Hillbilly Trailer that was very creative

Super fun and pretty scary! We bought the immediate access tickets for $50 each, and got in right away. Definitely worth the extra money to not wait in line. The haunted house was pretty long and overall scary, I think they could have used a few more scary actors, but overall really great!

As somebody who has been to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood every year for almost 10 years, I was a little skeptical about coming here to be scared. I love haunted houses and getting spooked and didn't know what to except from The Fright Compound. BUT The Fright Compound was AMAZING. My bf and I got tickets to enter at 8:30. We showed up at about 8:05 and we're let in at 8:45. The lady at the front who explained the rules was so sweet and friendly. The haunted house it self was so much fun. The moving floors really caught us off guard, although they remind you about it before you enter it was such a surprise and I loved that aspect of it. I love how it felt as if I was submerged into a different world. The clowns were my favorite part! One thing that I would have wished they had more of was scared actors but I'm going to assume covid guidelines changed that. Otherwise such a fun experience and the sets and props were so great!

Honestly not scary at all. Mainly the only thing is you don't know where people will jump out from.

How early should you arrive to not have to be waiting in line forever?

Get VIP tickets before...but honestly dont go in the 1st place until they apologize to my family for what was said to both my son and wife!

Every time I thought I was going to escape the terrifying I was wrong it is quite large and I suggest to allow ample time to move through the experience.

I brought my whole family and it was enjoyable for all ages from 12 to 77- There is a bit of walking and standing but some chances to sit down. Totally more interesting than walking around the area without information. The fun part (all of it is fun) was going inside Union Station and hearing the history that has been glossed over by historians trying to attract visitors to Denver. As the tour progresses, it gets better and better. By the time we exited Union Station, it was dark and the area was lit up with people enjoying the beautiful evening- you see pedicabs and bicycles, lit buildings and a fountain with lights in addition to the story weaver guide. This is the authentic tour to take.

My friend and I decide to try out a ghost tour while we were in Denver last year and I am so happy…read morewe ended up going with Nightly Spirits! We booked the two and a half hour Ghost Tour and Pub Crawl in the LoDo Neighborhood. This not only meant we got to check out some of the cooler bars in the area, but got to hear their history and hear some pretty spooky stories. We stopped at 5 bars/pubs along with a couple stops on the street in between. The guide was very passionate about the history and stories he was telling. He even dressed up in old-timey clothes to set the mood. If we ever go back to Denver, we definitely plan on booking a different tour through Nightly Spirits!

The guide was named Hailey and she was nice enough, but soon it became apparent that there was too much talking on this tour and not enough action. Every ghost or haunting was connected to the brothel industry or a bar and nothing new has been hsunted over the years. The only truly interesting story was of a photo hanging at the Celtic ( where you spend your first 20 minutes). Nothing can be verified though and these stories all seem to handed down via mouth, rather than paper. Another problem was the tour started in one place, but ended in Union Station and if your visiting for the first time like me, she doesn't tell you how to get back to your car. Hailey is clearly underpaid counting on a $10 bonus from the cheap owners of this national company. The tour starts out boring and never recovers. Also, there are some shameful plugs for restaurants that they want you to eat at after you finish. Secretly paid sponsors.
