This was their Halfway to Halloween Blackout experience. Very little light and one person in each party is given a small glow stick to carry. They are serious when they give warning for anyone with breathing issues. I do have asthma and knew to bring a mask. The fog was thick, but it added to the experience. Another tip, wear stable shoes. There are many uneven, squishy or moving surfaces that need to be traversed while making your way through the attraction. The actors throughout did a great job. The costuming is frightful and at times they misguided us on purpose. We had a great time! read more

Great staff! Good energy, overall fun experience. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Ran by Karen's for Karen's don't go here, expensive and I think they spend more on security then they do rhe actual hunted house staff!

Three haunted house this year. The debut of the blood shed. Its first year is good but it needs some more anxiety provoking strobes or something. Fast Pass is always the way to go here. read more

We had such a great time at 13th Floor Haunted House! The entire experience was well put together and full of surprises. Between the secret bars and the three terrifying attractions (Legend of the 13th Floor, Twilight of the Damned, and The Blood Shed), there was never a dull moment. The sets were detailed, the scares were creative, and the energy from the actors kept us on edge the whole night. The lines do take a little time, so I'd recommend getting a fast pass if you can -- it definitely makes the night smoother. This is one of the best haunted houses I've been to in Denver, and it's a must-do if you love Halloween thrills. Open select nights through November 9th -- highly recommend checking it out! read more

We came in on opening night in 2024 and I felt like it was well organized. I'm not TOTALLY into haunted stuff, but I came with my sister who is. PARKING - definitely check out street parking before paying money in the paid lot. We paid and as we were walking to the entrance, we saw plenty street parking. Bummer MAZES - They seemed really detailed and were pretty good at trying to stagger the groups. There were 2 mazes and another experience for an additional fee. The lines were long though for the 2 mazes included in the admission ticket. Every other activity was for an extra fee. read more

Amazing!!!! We just did the Halfway to Halloween haunt and it was epic!!!! We go to all of them throughout the year, and they're all effing amazing, but the Blackout was terrifying. At one point, I couldn't tell how many scarers there were near me and got myself stuck in a corner screaming. One of the scarers grabbed my glow stick and threw it down the hall to get me back on track, and we ran into other guests that had gone in both before, and after we did because we were all lost and walking in circles of terror. Mini escape rooms in the ax throwing are definitely worth it for the fun and they're super reasonably priced. The only, and I mean ONLY improvement I can imagine is them selling more merchandise in smaller people sizes because they're always 2X and 3X and four XL. If they had some small, medium or larges, we would probably buy hoodies every time we go, especially if the hoodie matched the theme of that haunt. Like, the Christmas Krampus one? We all bought those hoodies, and people always ask about it when they see them. Good free marketing, but that is the only time we found hoodies small enough. Love this place! It's a great night out and worth every penny. -not for the faint of heart, and def don't go in with a full bladder, if you know what I mean. read more

Had an amazing time last night. There is two haunted house. Which both are very well put together and the details are just amazing. The actors were just fabulous. I loved the female bartender at the bar, they had so many extra add ons that were games. They had scary people walking around. This is 100% worth every bit of the ticket price. The staff is friendly. The bathrooms are clean port a potty's. I will definitely be back again. Loved this one! read more

Very spooky. Love it. Peed a little. What more can I say. Super excited that we can come throughout the year

The blue door was the best out of all 3 houses! Totally worth it!! Great way to spend a spooky Halloween!!

Had a great time with all three of the houses! Had fast pass and did all attractions within an hour!

fair warning, i got two free tix from do303more so...i would rate it a 5/5 for experience compared to other haunted houses BUT i think i would have been salty if i had to choose at full price. i am a little salty that i paid $15/person to get a faster lane which was only fast for one of their two lanes (they "split the haunted house in two") also the upsells were excessive and mostly overpriced. a video of us for like $20? nah, i'm good. the maze was cool tho!!! they did a good job of leaving room between groups even though we eventually caught up at the end. there was a good amount of actors and really fun monster animatronics. props were good in general and there were a few very unexpected parts that genuinely scared me. read more

We paid the extra cost to skip the line on a Sunday. Probably was ok with a fast pass lane instead...but it was nice to just not stand and wait. The skip the line pass probably saved us 30+ mins in the cold. The place has different themed rooms which was neat. The rooms had their own perks which you wouldn't necessarily feel at other haunted house. Definitely was trippy a few times. There were a lot of animatronics...not too many people dressed up. It was good and bad. Overall...definitely would recommend it for first timers. I wouldn't come back though...probably would try another location. One recommendation is for the spacing between groups to be a bit better. read more

Very cool. the actors were pretty spooky. Oh no!!!!! Almost peed what makes someone think of a haunted house in December

Worst haunted house in denver. This is a complete waste of time, they sell tickets for $50 each but if you go to Costco they go to Costco you can get $50 for 2. Even with that deal it's a waste. They have 2 haunted houses and with a scheduled fast pass time you'll spend about 45 minutes in each line. Each haunted house is about 10-15 minutes and it's about 5% actors, and 95% animatronics. They shove you through so fast that it gets backed up inside and you end up right behind the group ahead with the group behind in your back. When the actors jump out, because your backed up you watch the group in front of you get scared, the actors can't reset so they just look at you as you walk past. Essentially just in a line the entire time. Seriously don't come here. read more

I will say the most patient crew throughout but what really did it was the photoshop at the end just sending us off with the most amazing memory to cherish! Thanks y'all! read more

$90 for two people, the most basic package available. I wasn't scared once. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but if I had seen a review like mine before purchasing, I likely wouldn't have gone. The duration of each haunted house is much, much shorter than the duration you'll be waiting in line. Also, they're just not scary. Don't get me wrong, the decorations and special effects and actors are all very cool. But I didn't once jump or scream. I've been to Eastern State Penitentiary in Philly, which is actually scary, so I was puzzled as to how this place is in the top five scariest haunted houses in America. Everyone just walks through the haunted house very close together, so if the group in front of you was scared, you know what to expect. That's not a ding on the company per se, but perhaps a design flaw in their houses. Each house is just narrow hallways. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend. Very overpriced for a short and dull experience. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! It is very expensive for hours of waiting in line for incredibly underwhelming and short experiences. They send people into each attraction in large groups in short intervals causing crowding and no chance for any surprises at all. It is basically a museum of bad horror props with the occasional actor standing in one spot saying the same thing over and over. I cannot recommend this place less for anyone over 10 years old. read more

I will never come back here it costed over $100 for 2 tickets! It also costs $10 to park, it costs $8 for each of the smaller haunts, it costs to schedule a time to get there but then you find yourself waiting for over an hour to walk through a 15 minute "haunt". There was maybe 10 scare actors total between 2 haunts and the line to wait. The chaos clown maze was ridiculous it was maybe 2 minutes long in total but they tell you that "you're going the wrong way" for 15 minutes while you're breathing in gas from 2 chainsaws only to find that you were going the correct way they just think it's "scary" to make you circle through a maze 10 times. Not worth the time you can honestly just go see the animatronics at spirit Halloween. read more

Very expensive they'll charge you for every little thing. Ended up paying well over $100 for only two people this is absurd please don't waste your money the experience itself is very mediocre not very scary and very predictable. The fun is over before you know it. read more

Overall, I'd say it's fun, and I don't regret visiting! Pros: -Cool as heck animatronics! -Really nice actors and staff. All scare actors were great at playing along with guests. -Saw a lot of people having fun and getting spooked! -Creative sets that overall lead you the right way, but also had some unexpected areas to see. Neutral- to- cons: -Felt geared more toward a teen crowd or those not looking for "intense" haunts. -Got a drink package with a trip to the small "Attic Bar," and there was not nearly enough seating for all guests. The drinks included were 7.5oz (mini) Seagrams Escapes, with the option to pay an extra $8+ for a mixed drink (which wasn't much stronger than the Seagrams anyway). No actors were in the "bar" area, and it's very much mid-haunt, so your background noise is other guests making their way through. -Porta-potties are the bathroom option. -"Gift shop" available. Pretty minimal, but it's there if you want to get shirts or other merch. -Film pass was cute, but only one screen was functional to review what was captured. I got to see three short clips of my experience. -Took an uber, and I noticed the parking lot was packed and a small trek to the haunt. -Got a "skip the line" perk as part of our package (and arrived at our scheduled time), and it was fine in this situation... but we definitely still had a few lines to actually get to the attraction. Our total wait was about 15-20 minutes after getting through security. -Very much a conga line. We were all packed in one group after another, and this did "spoil" a lot of what was coming up. -Theming wasn't quite related to what was advertised. Definitely more just a generic "spooky" theming. This was during the Valentine's Day "Love Bites" event which it appears isn't as crowded as other times. I am not sure if this is the first haunt I'd choose once Halloween rolls around, but how often do you get a chance to visit one in February? I would be disappointed if I waited more than an hour to get into the attraction, especially because the main line is outside and leaves you at the mercy of whatever the weather is. I can't confidently say it was worth the price due to there being only a handful of actual actors and the short length of the attraction. read more

Very disappointed in this one, it was rushed, my nephews and I had no time to really enjoy it. Cool animatronics and costumes. 10 out of 10 dont recommend, I want my money back. read more

After experiencing the Krampus Christmas event I was left asking why it cost what it did. It is clear that the 13th floor is built to push volumes of customers through while giving a OK experience, that lacks any substance. As haunted houses go, it was decently long and took a while to get through. But lacked any story or sense of continuity. The staff were friendly and helpful and the actors do their best to jump out and scare you, but between being overcrowded so you can see them coming and jumping out at the group ahead of you and. no actual story or direction for them to play off of it's just that, jump scares. If you don't want to stand in line for 1 to 2 hours, then you'll have to buy the skip the line passes, which is what we did and while I was happy with that decision the cost of the entire experience for two people reaching into the triple digits for the experience we received, was simply not worth it. read more

They remain the best around. If you love haunts , like we do , remember the night you go matters. If Saturday is the only night you can go expect longer lines and it's hard on the monsters....so go early if you can and get VIP if it's in your budget. Worth it. This is a world class haunt, always changing, and has millions invested in animatronics alone and 100s of great actors and professional staff every night. Do NOT fall for the fake parking when you initially approach...it is a rip off as parking is free. Be prepared to be scared! read more

We got the fast pass and we still had to wait in a smaller line but not as bad as the longer general admission line. Get ready to pay for $20 parking if you can't find any street parking. It was a great haunted house. Many different rooms with different themes and well decorated with just the right amount of scary people lurking. Although I hoped they would spread out the groups of people more...we literally were right after another so it's kinda hard to get scared when the people in front give you fair warning. But it was still fun. We bought the discounted fast pass tix from Costco. I think next year I'll try one of the other haunted houses since I read from previous year reviews that it hasn't changed in years. read more

Horrifying!! We had the best time and were so scared! We ended up going twice because it was so good

Paid $75 for a literal 12 minute haunted house. And we were stuck in a line while in the haunted house? Best part was the gift shop.

I went for Krampus 2024 and the first line took 40 minutes then we stood in another line inside then we got into the 20 minute haunted house which was another LINE????? Why have us buy tickets for specific times if they just shovel people in there all at once. Scarers legit just stood there while we waited to go into the next room. Will never be going back. Gift shop was good tho read more

13th Floor used to be pretty epic. It's just become so predictable. When you're spending $30-100 on tickets, you kind of hope they change something inside from year to year, but year after year, every room is the same, the layout is the same, it's all just... the same. "Around the next corner is... yep. The dinosaur." "Around the next corner is... yep. The zombie truck." It's just tired. I also totally get that there are thousands of us trying to get through and there's not anything they can do about it, but it's one massive line of people walking through, so there's really not an opportunity for a jump scare because you always know what's ahead because you're protected by the people in front of you. Still a fun way to spend some time with friends but it feels like it's not being invested into. It's just craving some updating, mostly. read more

The haunt itself gets 4 stars.. they put a lot into it. My two stars are everything else. They each to upsell you on everything. From the moment you get here, you're spending more than you thought. It's 10$ to park, and it's cash/cash app only. If the 300 add ons they throw on you online, why can't they add parking so you can pay with a card as well as know that cost is coming? The people parking were rude, as well as the people guiding you all they way up the final haint entrance point. The only person who was helpful was a guy who caught us as we were leaving parking to tell us we couldn't bring purses or bags in and wanted to save us a trip back to the car. They didn't do a good job making the clear through the ticketing process. Again, they just want your money, and then they have you.. you better not complain. If they can be more transparent with costs and train their team to include customer service, things would be better. read more

amazing time!! I was afraid the whole time! Bar service here is also amazing!!!! Definitely come here if you're looking for a great experience!! read more

All in all, this was a pretty good haunted house experience. Full disclosure, haunted houses are not my favorite thing, and I've only been to a few of them in the last couple decades. But, I thought this one was professionally done, and had some rather good scares within. We came on a Wednesday night, and it was not especially busy, so we were able to get right in. They had some adult options where you could get drinks beforehand and do secret side trips within where you could get drinks again. I did not participate, but my comrades did. Our group of four was mostly isolated on the scary trip through the venue, and that definitely improved the experience. Personal criticisms ... I don't really like smoke machines, and they were a lot of them. This was not wonderful on my sinuses and made me get a bit of a scratchy throat and dry eyes. Queuing up before entering the venue, there was no attempt to made to keep people socially distanced, and it got a bit crowded. read more

Love this place, we go every year and every event they have!! The actors and characters are fantastic! We come every year and love the environment and experience! read more

I wanted to like it but at end it was not so good. We invited some friends to come with us because it used to be great 6 years ago. This time, it was very disappointing. For starters I believe they don't have enough actors. I'm sorry but a stuffed or painted monster just is not very scary. Anyway, we had the fast lane pass that was not needed (another waste of money). Not so many people there surprisingly (or not). Anyway, as a haunted venue, it has a lot of room for improvement. Not even close to what it was. My recommendation; Pass, don't waste your money. read more

EVERYTHING....... Prices are double when asking staff a question to many people going at once not fun to much pushing and shoving

Very fun experience! The attractions were a good scare. I would most certainly recommend going during the Halloween season.

The lines were such a mess, which honestly is to be expected, but it would have been a nice touch if it were easier to maybe grab a drink while you're waiting or get out to use the restroom before going into the haunted house. We had sent one of our group over the fence to get us a drink while we were waiting in line and the "bar" would only give him one expensive beer even though he had four IDs with him for us, then it was quite the hassle to get him back in line with us. The parking and traffic was definitely a mess, the security was a joke. I think it's just there too make sure you don't have any drinks with you (even sealed water) so they could try to make you buy it there. The haunted house itself was not very good, and I'm easily scared so that's saying something. Barely any actors, a few of them did get me, but also it was super cramped. They kind of tried to space people out it seemed but fell short for sure. I think if they had more actors it could be really good, the animatronics and sets were pretty cool but just not.. scary like a person jumping out at you. I'd give it one star, but my group and I did still have a fun time. I would not recommend the experience as it stands, I think kids would probably be pretty scared but as adults and even being easily scared, I thought it fell pretty flat! read more

Fantastic iconic Halloween haunt. The staff cares, the new management definitely cares, and the bar staff is great! I was confused about the 2.5 rating Yelp has it at, then I read through some reviews. Hey everyone, things cost money, but if you're worried about the cost: SIGN UP FOR THEIR MAILING THING ONLINE AND YOU GET EARLY ACCESS TO BUYING TICKETS AND THEY ARE WAAAAY CHEAPER! ITS THE SAME FOR VDAY AND KRAMPUS! If you buy the tickets day of and then get all the perks...ya bro it's not cheap. They have employees to pay my dudes, take it easy! read more

13th Floor Haunted House - Confused about the complaints - Haunted Houses Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Just don't waste your money. It's not worth the price of the ticket AT ALL. And then street parking is limited so you have to pay $20 for the "parking lot" even though the car in front of us only had to pay $10 so I'm not sure where the differences in pricing came from other than it being a different person helping us out vs the car in front. There were no actors going through the lines which I think is pretty standard with haunted houses. Inside it was mostly just animatronics. Throughout the whole haunted house there were probably 5-10 actors total so it was more just walking through a building with Halloween decorations than a haunted house. Groups were also being let in WAY too close together. It took under a minute before we were caught up to the giant line of people now going through the haunted house all at the same time. The reason for two stars instead of one- the animatronics were well done and the haunted house at least lasted ~10 minutes which is longer than a lot of the ones I've gone to. read more
