Some were kid centric (chocolate covered gummy worms-I had two of those samples I wont lie) and some were very high end. The chocolate lab statue looked good enough to eat (I didn't try it I promise) and a chocolate bust of Peyton Manning watched over the crowd with laser rocket eyes (that didn't melt any chocolate!). There were some food options without chocolate but it was too much fun tasting to deviate. Definitely a chocolate overload but mo chocolate mo better right?

We drew color chips out of a hat to determine which team we would be on: red or blue. We then were led to a room with two large tables color coordinated and lights simulating a game show. NOTE: They sold drinks at the front and required you to purchase your drinks ahead of time before entering the room. The room had a small fridge to keep them cool. We played survey battle, match up wars, cups (not like you've seen) and more. Our team had a blast, cause we won. The blue team had fun too but wants a rematch. I wish I could remember his name but he said he had been there about 5 years. And there wasn't a question asked that he couldn't answer. We learned about erosion at the water table. We learned about prairie ecosystems. We experienced what it was like living in a sod homestead. And we got a brief overview of the Cheyanne way of life. All of this was followed by s'mores. We saw the eagle nest and several pronghorn and dozens of prairie dogs. The eagles weren't around but they should be back in the spring. If you are looking for a fun and educational experience not too far from Denver, this is the place you are looking for.

Four of us came here on New Year's Day, around 3:15 pm. It didn't look busy: the arcade and the bar area were near empty. The lanes were busy, but it was hard to see if they were all full, as some folks looked like they were about to leave. When we walked up, we were told that there was a waitlist and we were first on the list. We stayed around the check-in area in case they called us-- since they said that we were first. We saw them check in 3 groups; maybe they had reservations. We waited about 20 minutes, and we saw at least three groups check out. When I asked the front desk if they had a general idea of the wait time, he said he didn't know. We kept seeing them check in new people. After 30 minutes, we left. The pricing was also questionable. What was posted (New Year special) and what they quoted when we asked for the cost per round were different. I've been to other Lucky Strikes that were legit busy and received good customer service. Staff need better training, or they need a better system. Or something. Definitely not going back.

Wow, my yesterday's visit to this historic park was so mesmerizing. It's because of their annual…read more(?) "Bright Nights" (originally a lantern festival.) It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.

Recently went to the Bright Lights event at this park and had a wonderful experience walking around…read morethe luminous colorful tall lanterns. Every inch of the 12 acres had lights and even in the trees and bushes. So many details that it seemed realistic. Many of the lanterns were interactive such as stationary bikes or cranks to power the lights to glow even brighter. The staff were friendly and happy to help. This year's Red Rocks display really stood out. Seeing the rocks in the background as soon as you arrive, before even entering, was absolutely stunning. My mother-in-law and I love doing fun activities together, especially around the holidays, and this has officially been added to our list of favorite Christmas traditions. The lights were gorgeous, the atmosphere was festive, and it definitely brought us into the Christmas spirit to start the week. I've used Groupon before and recommend it for a great deal if you're planning to go. Overall, I loved both locations, but Red Rocks felt extra magical. Highly recommend for a festive and memorable holiday outing!

The location is also very convenient, with quick and easy access to the park, making it hassle-free to enjoy the event. The staff at check in were highly spirited upon welcoming me and explaining the process behind organizing and setting up the display. Twice this year we had birthday parties here. It was great fun for all who attended…read more Plenty of things to do and so worth getting the birthday room package even if you dont have enough kids...why? Because the wrist bands that come with the birthday package can be used at a different time if they arent activated the day of the party. We GoKart'd, Laser Tagged, Hung out in the airel course, played some games inside. Never made it to bowling but you could:) Teenage boys had a full 4 hours of running around and I am sure we will do it again next year. If you ask nice they will even let you have your party time in the room at the end of your stay. This was super helpful as the boys got out their energy and were ready for Pizza and Cake before going home. Also, no upset tummies to keep them from enjoying the outdoor activities.

It would have been nice if a hair dryer had been available so that the pauses for some people waiting for stuff to dry could have been accelerated. The staff was friendly. The house wine and basic beers were only $3 each, and they went down very easily. I would gladly come back here again.
