I have come several times. Once, it was great. We had fun, we enjoyed our time. A little expensive but fine. Second time we came back it was closed. Third time we went was today. I came after I picked my son up from his after care program and there was no employee in sight for about 15 minutes. We ended up just grabbing clubs and doing putt putt. At the end there was a teenager who came out when we had gone through probably 8-9 holes and he said "Excuse me, who checked you out?" And I said "No one. No one was here and we weren't gonna wait all night." He was like "I am the manager on shift and that's not true." Clearly trying to not be in trouble. It was absolutely inappropriate the way he treated everyone in there. I don't know what they were doing that whole time but the lack of responsibility they took for not being present where they needed to be was ridiculous. I will call back later and speak to the general manager and pay for the round we did but in my opinion, the kid working should be fired. The cash register was left unmanned, plus all the merchandise, the main door open, the self service card reader wasn't working, there was zero attention to customers. I work with high school students and 98% of them would be more responsible than this. It was completely unprofessional! read more

The golf was cool but the arcade not so much most of it is broken and the claw machines are almost empty and everything's pushed over to the side I had to ask the manager to at least move the stuff to the middle of they weren't going to refill them. I've seen this place for years and never came here based on pictures people had online of it. To me it looked boring and really small. Yeah. I was correct in that department. We got there and went to check in for them to say it's about a 30 minute wait but probably closer to 20. Ok that's fine. We ended up waiting 45 minutes to start but they have a small arcade area which had some fun games but a lot were busted or outdated. They had a little VR game too but it was disgusting. The theming is alright but not really anything exciting. Maybe if the statues moved or did stuff it would be better? Every course is basically the same thing and to me was really boring. Sure for a kid under 10 it would be a blast. The smoke and crud in the air also messes with your eyes and all of us had burning eyes and ended up leaving at hole 14 because we couldn't take it anymore. It's a cute little place for date nights and family time. I love that they even have the Typhoon, it was my go-to as a child. Especially at places at Chuck-E-Cheese, never thought I'd come across it again. My boyfriend and I are golfers and found the mini glow-in-the-dark golf course challenging...but I mean, who doesn't love a challenge? 10/10, definitely recommend. read more

We had my son's 7th birthday party here recently and it is a fun spot! They provide a room for a party (there are 2 rooms) and easily accommodated 12 kids and their parents. There is a microwave, refrigerator and some spooky monster decor. I wouldn't bring small kids here as it is dark and might be too scary for them. We ordered pizza ahead of time from Big Bills (same shopping center) and brought a cooler with drinks. We also brought cupcakes. About 45 minutes in once they had pizza and cupcakes, the boys were ready for mini golf! They played and had a blast, they gave my son a happy bday shoutout over the loudspeaker. The party hosts, Miles and Madison, were very accommodating and even helped me hang up a banner in the party room and brought a candle and a lighter. Then the boys had some arcade time and loved that too. The only thing I would change is to give each kid more than $4 on a game card. Most games are $1.00 so it went fast. I would have done $10 a card for each kid but didn't realize until later. No biggie they had a ball! Overall for about $250 with tip (not including food and drinks) we entertained 12 kids for 1.5 hours. I also liked that it wasn't the typical Chuck-E Cheese or whatever! read more

Looking for an indoor activity to avoid the cold outside? Don't recommend going here unless you have a small child. Like under 10 years old. Spent half an hour at the whole course. Great atmosphere and theme, which is a spooky/monster theme with interesting characters and structures. Kids are all around and there was still a lot of room the day we went. There's even an small arcade in the front with lots of modern games. But ultimately this was made more for kids and not someone almost getting into their 30s. I didn't think that this was worth the price which is $13/adults plus taxes. We even tried to take our time and make up rules for ourselves, but there is a certain limit of time on each course for courtesy of other players. I won't be going back again. read more

This is a fun place to stop and do something--and be out of the sun, too. Whether it's October or one of the other 11 months of the year, playing through blacklights and glowing monsters is pretty cool! Great place to go for indoor mini golf. Usually take about an hour to complete all 18 holes. Went with a buddy of mine on a Saturday around noon ish and was surprisingly not too busy. Only reason it's not 5 star from me is the course is a bit confusing, because there's no finite definition between the hole you're on and the next hole. But overall, ~$20 for two people on a Saturday isn't bad at all! read more

VR was broken, several arcade games were broken and still accepting new games. The few "ticket" games that we're working were expensive and didn't give any tickets. I'll admit, I've been here more times than I should have considering how low I'm rating this spot. The first time was by pure coincidence after a friend invited my husband and I to come mini golf inside, which sounded pretty interesting after the shots of Captain right before entering. The second and third time I came here, were to entertain our younger cousins, which we found to be right up their alley. Located in a strip mall in Highlands Ranch, Monster Mini Golf is easy to spot, has ample parking and looks semi intriguing from the outside. Upon entering, it looks like a pack of neon highlighters exploded, features black lighting and a wild array of local graffiti artwork on the walls. The space offers indoor black light mini golf on one side, with an arcade featuring all different kinds of games on the other side. There is plenty to do, fun to be had and prizes to be won. However, the price to do so is insanely high to partake. Each round of mini golf is $11/adult ($9/child, students and military), while everything else is priced ala carte. For 5 of us to play ONE round of mini golf (in a crazy wild and kinda fun atmosphere) was a whopping $55, which is INSANE to me. Sure, there are multiple Groupon offers available on line and a $2 off a round of mini golf check in offer through Yelp, but this just seems steep for the actual experience. Sorry Monster, I won't be back anytime soon. read more

Not surprised this place has good reviews because this mini golf location is awesome!! I came here a couple times and every time is a joyful experience. It's never too busy which is nice because that can ruin the mini golf experience. The interior design and course is so much fun with the glow in the dark aspect. The course is not too hard so kids can enjoy it but not so easy that adults wouldn't enjoy. They do serve beverages there (not sure if they sell food). This is not like your traditional mini golf experience. For starters, the entire course is in one singular room, and there are no real obstacles. It basically feels like a putting green with black lights and loud music. It took roughly an hour and a half to finish the course due to an overwhelming amount of people. The decor is fun but tacky, and the overall golfing experience is sub-par. We were very disappointed, and had initially expected a mini golf course with some interactive obstacles or at least a slight challenge. The arcade is very small and outdated. The one great thing about this place is the staff. They were super friendly and excited to help. This is a great place for anyone under the age of 12. read more

We had fun at Monster Mini Golf. Speaking for a five year old, swinging a golf club and counting didn't matter. Putting the ball in the hole was a point! I went with it, I didn't even try to get in the way of our fun. The music was loud. Not too bad actually. The art work is painted florescent to glow under many black lights. The course is quite simple, flat with lots of angles to bounce off of. Not that challenging as far as mini golf courses go. The dark monster theme is what made it fun. After our no so impressive round of Monster Golf, we tried to play some arcade games, but the credit card machine didn't work. I was not disappointed in this whatsoever. We didn't need to play games anyway. Thanks Monster Mini for not taking more of my money ;) When we left, we received a card for "Admit One Free...You Need Practice" card. How this place gets 4 stars I'll never understand. If I could give it a minus 4 stars, I would. 16 out of 18 holes were ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL. The music was so loud neither my husband nor I could hear each other. It was so dark, we couldn't see the direct pass through hole to the final destation instead of going around, and that was only on three holes. Those were still basically the same configuration. The ONLY fun part was the tree similar to the one from the Wizard of Oz telling us we didn't belong there and should go home. How true! read more

Took my kiddo here with his buddy as part of his birthday weekend as we weren't doing a whole huge party for him this year. He had a free coupon as well to use for getting an award at the end of the school year. We had heard of this place once before but had never visited until now. It is a good idea for the extremely hot days we've been having to still be able to get out and do an activity. It's a cute place, with mini golf and an arcade. There is only one golf course in the building, and could easily have two if it weren't for the arcade area..and that area is not cheap, just another way to get you to spend money as theres a prize area to turn in your tickets at. Paying $9 a person for one choice of golf course is expensive and you have to wait your turn for ages it seems for other families to finish their turn. The place opens at noon too on weekends so theres a line at the door when you arrive. The staff members are pretty nice and helpful, the décor and music are fun. The kids had a good time and maybe we'd come back. read more

This place is so rad! It was a great birthday choice for my kiddo. She's 6 and a few parts were a tad scary for her but she enjoyed it and had a great time anyway. I bought a groupon to check this place out and stopped in with my 9 yr old on Sunday afternoon. The staff was super friendly. We got right in started our round. The place is black lit with glow in the dark paint in a Halloween/monster theme. They played excellent disco music which kept me dancing and embarrassing the 9yr old perfectly. There is a small arcade which we stopped at on our way out. My only real downside is there wasn't any kind of a snack bar or place to sit and have snacks. It would have extended our stay if there was. My daughter was hungry and a hotdog, nachos etc.. would have been perfect.
