School ended 3 weeks ago, and summer camp doesn't start until next week, so I've been tasked with finding fun activities for my little one to do. I found a Groupon on Putter's Pride and it was a FANTASTIC deal- $8ish for unlimited mini golf for two! We made a day of it, traveling to Lakewood, playing a course, leaving for lunch, and returning for more holes in the afternoon. There was a bus-full of kids leaving shortly after we had arrived, wasn't too crowded, and the pop music playing over the speakers kept the vibes high. Came during a weekday with a Groupon in hand. Great experience overall, had unlimited rounds and tried two of the three courses. They're designed well and the experience was smooth and fun. I'd imagine when it's busy (weekends, evenings) you need to have much more patience :). I love the feel of this place; it's in a busy trafficked area but doesn't feel that way when you arrive and get settled. I brought my little guy to this place for his first miniature golf experience. It was a great place to start. They have three, count them THREE eighteen hole courses. The guy at the front desk asked me if I wanted to play one, two or all of them. Being the first time I didn't know what to expect, how long it would take and how tired my guy might be after 18 holes, so I picked one course. It was just enough. When I was paying at the front desk, there were a bunch of brightly painted balls there at the counter. I recognized one as being Spiderman and he pointed out a Pokemon one. I bought it for him as a souvenir of the day. Score one for me! When we started playing I didn't worry about scoring or form, all we wanted to do was have fun. If he started over again 8 times until he hit it better, no problem. If it took 25 strokes to get to the hole, we'd laugh and move to the next one. We had a blast. And because it was a Wednesday morning, we had two people in front of us and no one behind to pressure us into hurrying up. We were probably finished in under an hour. He got a hole-in-one on "Level 12" (he thinks in video game terms) and all in all we had a great time. I would give this place 5 stars, but some of the felt used for the course was coming unglued and it made it hard to get the ball into one of the holes, even when the ball was sitting right next to the hole. If it was just a little better maintained, 5 stars it would be! I'm certain we'll return to try the other courses. read more

The courses are moderately challenging and contain a lot of shade, which is greatly appreciated on a sunny day. This place also had at least two ball washing stations, which I thought was super cool. I spent a lot of summers at the beach and mini golf was a big part of my summer. This place is not the best but it's a far cry from terrible. We go a few times a year because the unlimited option is a great way to keep kids occupied for a few hours on the cheap. I was there earlier today because it was still kinda nice but after the second round, the kids were cold. There are 3 courses to choose from and 18 holes each. Plus there are usually coupons on Groupon. This time of year you can also get pumpkins with each round of unlimited golf. It really could use some repairs to the greens and not all of the lights work so I gave it 4 stars. Don't let it deter you thought. It's still worth every penny read more

This place is cool because it is super cheap ($8.50 adults for 1 course, $10 adults for unlimited... there are only 3 courses) and each putt is very short / small, making it perfect for kids under the age of 8. It also has a fantastic view of sunset from the parking lot! Other than that, the place isn't well kept. Each green has tree branches, leaves, and rocks on it so if you're competitive, these obstacles are annoying. Some of the felt has come loose so it's an unexpected, additional "challenge." When we went, there were 3 or so holes "under construction." There are a number of holes that are exactly the same. There are a few holes that are so boring and easy, it's a wonder why they even bothered putting an installation in. On the plus side, I liked how kid-friendly and smooth the music was. Good for goofing off. Definitely the lamest mini golf I've ever been to, but I was still able to enjoy myself. My boyfriend complained the whole time, though. read more

This place is circa 1980s putt-putt. Concrete greens with crappy green carpet. It is also the most difficult course I have ever played. Many of the holes are located above mounds of concrete, making it next to impossible to get the ball in. Cheap, dated and old. With all that said, these putt putt places need to invest in some up to date renovations. read more

Turned out this place was one of the best mini golf place I've ever been too (and I've been to a few due to covid ~6 places ish). I would be more than happy to pay full price plus more! I went in the evening and the lighting was such a ambiance. Loved the Halloween decorations and landscaping done to make this place so scenic. It's a cozy classic style mini golf with nothing too fancy but hit the spots with old songs, string lights, soft drinks and icecream. All the holes were well designed with various skills involved. Some were overlapped in all 3 courses but still very fun. Because there are so many courses, people were spread out and we just went to the start of whichever course had the least people and go from there. read more

I came here for a team outing and found it to be a very fun, clean, (mostly) well kept spot. This mini golf course has several courses, lots of trees and shade, and most importantly lots of themed holes (windmills, king kong, bridges, etc...). It was absolutely packed in the middle of the day during the summer (they have an all you can putt package), but people seemed to move along. It was mostly well kept, but some of the greens had seen better days and the trex bridge you walk in on is very warped and a hazard! Still, all in all a nice putt putt spot. This place is so much fun, but what really gets me every time is how friendly and accommodating the staff are! Lost your ball? No worries, grab another. Hungry? They usually have some sweet treat for you at no cost (like hot chocolate, hot apple cider and cookies in the winter months)! For a very reasonable cost, you can usually play as many rounds as you want, they have different courses with all sorts of fun obstacles and it's all lit up at night. They stay open through the year and only close if they're under snow. I highly recommend this for groups and dates! read more

That's what the GIANT ORANGE SIGN SAYS , 4 of us played , 1 Adult 3 children, 1 of them is on the spectrum... he was waiting all week to play so he could get his pumpkin. When we walked into the lobby to claim our pumpkins the clerk told us that we had to buy a different pass to get pumpkins not the ones we had purchased..... sorry no pumpkins for you. Needs lots of maintenance. For some holes, there is no green felt and you are putting on rough concrete. You don't realize this until after you paid. The sad thing is that it does not look all that hard to restore it to a much better condition. read more

We have always loved Putter's Pride, but recently they've made some improvements which make us love it all the more! This is mini golf at it's finest- with 3 different courses that have a variety of unique holes at all skill levels. This place has an amazing Groupon deal that we have bought so many times I've lost count. We love the magical lights hanging all over the place, and the fun touches like fountains or dinosaurs and dragons that can be seen around. Since they have three different courses it doesn't get boring, and the place is never overly crowded. They've got snacks and drinks for sale, and I believe they do free hot dogs on Wednesdays in the summer. Possibly the best part of the experience is the small field that is absolutely crawling with super cute little bunnies! They will get pretty close and they are so fun to watch. This is one of my husband and I'd favorite date night spots-- you can play a few rounds, watch the bunnies, and soak in the fun! read more

My wife and I bought a Groupon for Putter's Pride while visiting Denver, and we had a great time on their courses. There were 3 sets of holes, so there was plenty of mini golf for our unlimited play. The course has several windmills, and every other type of hole you can imagine. The course was a little dirty however. There were sticks and pine needles all over the place, and it was impossible to try and clear all of it up. We tried to ignore them as much as possible, and chalked it up to an extra obstacle. It was a little frustrating though, and as there was no one else playing with us, they could have made time to clean off the course a little. We bought a Groupon and overall had a great time here. Unfortunately I have to give a two star review because of the behavior of some staff members. Two young-ish staff members near our party were discussing the upcoming elections, using curse words and other colorful language. One staff member commented to the other that if Trump wins the election, he will take his gun and "shoot some Republicans." I did not appreciate this at all. I do not want my children hearing curse words when we are trying to enjoy an outing at a place that is supposed to be family-friendly. I also don't appreciate the political commentary, anger, and violent threats. Save your comments for when you are not in a public setting. read more
