We've been coming to Lava Island for years but hadn't been back since the remodel. The layout is a lot better than it used to be and it seems much better maintained. We had my son's birthday here. He and his friends had a great time! Our party host, Arianna was so wonderful and really helped make things run so smoothly for our group. I highly recommend working with her! Everyone enjoyed the party room, pizza, and Dino nuggets platter. All and all a great birthday for our little guy. Only downside in my opinion is that they charge the same price for adults and kids whether or not the adult is playing. I really appreciate that adults can play on all the equipment with their kids, but it seems odd to make adults play when they aren't using the equipment. Would love to see an option for folks who are there keeping an eye on the kids that is a little more budget friendly- we'd definitely be visiting more. read more

This was a relatively inexpensive choice for an indoor play park. Lots of things to do for toddlers and maybe those that are a little older. Not as many things to do as urban air, but definitely better for the toddlers. We had my two year-old grandson with us so it was the perfect place. it was only 12 bucks to get in for an hour so this is still one of the least expensive indoor play park. Big fun place for kids. Couple things to know. They do sell socks with grip but you don't actually need them. In fact, there's some sections that say no socks with grip for the slides. They only have one water fountain so it's a hustle to make you buy water and they don't provide water cups in the food court area. The rooms don't have any kind of air conditioning in the party rooms, so it's like a sauna and you might want to bring a fan. Other than that it's as fun if not more than Urban Air and some of the other places. Last item I would mention is I noticed very little refereeing by the staff. Well just like a menu. The food looks fantastic on paper but when you actually get it it's not the same. That's what this establishment felt like. Looking on their site it looks bigger than actually is. I believe it's reasonable priced and it's good for Aurora as other jump places are a distance away. I had gone with three boys ranging from ages 4, 6, and 10. All had fun but the once the 10 yo did everything he was bored. That being said it's more for kids under 10. The ambiance is very family oriented as when we were leaving there was a humongous line. There could be more parking as well. read more

I don't even know how you get a position like his if that's how he regularly speaks to people. Awfull experience. All I heard today was... "when can we go to Lava Island?!" from a 5 year old. My kids love it here even after 10 visits! We celebrated my daughters 4 year old birthday at lava island and have also been to several birthday parties for their classmates here too! The space is huge! And walking in the first time is very exciting! I love that the climbing side and the trampoline side are separated so that it keeps the excitement going so kids can switch to what they would like to do here. A perk is that adults can join in on the fun. Jumping on the trampolines and going through the obstacle courses is just as exhilarating for adults! But the downfall is that adults have to pay regardless of if you participate. So when I've brought my older kids along with my baby, I still have to pay even though I'm just taking care of the baby and watching the older two play. Compared to other kids play places, you'll end up spending more here because of the entry AND food. No outside food or drink allowed. For birthdays, you have to set up a party with them (in order to bring in cake). Overall though, the kids will love it but your wallet won't. read more

They want to charge $20 each for parents as an entrance fee, to sit there while our kids play for 1 hour... My wife is pregnant. $40 dollars for our kids to play for 1 hour is just not good economics for my wife and I to enjoy time together. On top - We have 3 kids, @ at the standard cost of $12.50 for 1 hour - that is $37.50 (not including tax) and then $40 on top which would total $77.50 for 3 kids to play and 2 adults to sit and talk... once again, bad economics. We saved the $77.50 (not including tax) and went to the park. We will use the unused funds toward a family dinner tonight or A night out at the movies. Thanks for making the pricing too expensive. I wasn't sure what to expect when coming here but my three year old had an amazing time! The entry fee is $10 per hour for both kids and adults. You're given a wristband to track your time in but I didn't see a lot of people monitoring this. The venue is huge and divided into two main sections: the trampoline park and playground (which also includes an enclosed areas for littler ones). We stuck to the playground area which was great! There are LOTS of big slides, things to climb on, a track with tricycles, pirate ship and more. It reminds me of what Discovery Zone was like when we were kids. The trampoline park area is really cool with foam pits as well. Will definitely be a blast as my kids get older. There's food and drink for sale, including Starbucks coffee. We got mozzarella sticks and mini corndogs and it was fine! A nice option if you're lingering over lunchtime. Overall, definitely glad we checked this place out and will definitely be coming back in the winter. Would totally consider this for a birthday party down the line too! read more

We (my grandkids and I) just LOVE Lava Island. They are 4-1/2 and 6 years old and have so much to do there. We dash back and forth between the trampolines, lava, volcano slide, and jungle areas and they never seem to get tired of the place. The price is reasonable and the food is pretty good, especially the ice cream bars/popsicles. It is usually pretty clean, and the bathrooms clean also and well stocked with paper products and soap. Plenty of places to sit down and eat or relax. We even saw the Joker last time we were there. What a treat!! read more

This place should have a zero score, coming into town for my granddaughters 3rd Birthday party as i open the door immediately was hit with heat i was worried the two cakes would not make it before the party celebration, very few staff members all including the manager was very inexperienced in customer service, we was told that thier would be a part host, the host was never introduced we had to ask for the manager to show us the way to the party room its our first time, the party room was small and twice as hot, guest refused to sit in thr room, there was something that happened in the kitchen a couple days prior to the birthday party and that with extreme heat conditions caused my grandson to have a severe asthma attack he sat in the car the entire time, manager didn't seem to really care, you get one hour in the party room we was not aware the lady thst rolled in the pizzas was the party host she just left,after 15 more minutes looking for someone to start the party she advised us you host your own party so why soend that amount of money? I do not see how 26 people can fit in that small room, you get one hour the last 20 min we was being harassed to start wrapping things up, conditions in this place is a concern for children's safety lack of staff not being able to keep up with monitoring safety guidelines , everything is over priced the bathrooms are in horrible condition, they one fan toward the trampoline that didn't do anything for the amount of space as i gathered the kids tge manager walks over asking the wear abouts of my daughter as i explained they are in prayer this lady interrupted them anyway spend your money elsewhere. read more

I wish the place existed where I live. We have trampoline parks and indoor playgrounds. They just aren't as fun as this one. I really like that you get both in one location. The space is huge. On one side you have your jungle themed indoor playground; on the other side you have your lava themed trampoline park. Our son loved both. And not just him. My wife even got in on the trampoline action. They serve food on site. It's your standard kid friendly fare. The mozzarella sticks were good. Entrance fee is $10 per person, per hour. Now, when it comes to the per hour part, their website states that is during peak times (weekends and school holidays). So expect to pay for additional hours. During off-peak times, bonus time may be available at no additional cost. We went on a weekday at it wasn't terribly crowded so we didn't have to pay extra (we stayed for over two hours). So keep that in mind. It is definitely worth the visit here if you have kids. I we lived in the area, this would be a regular spot for us. read more

This is a great deal and one of the cheapest trampoline/play areas in Denver. I love that the space is so open and bright. The music isn't crazy loud like other places. When today march 23 2025 . Its was super full of families. My complaint are there is no staffing on the floor , to enforce the rules , in the 0-4 year all age were running in and out making it hard for my young child to play. Some children had no socks on . Also they have 4 family/bathrooms two were blocked off the other two had no soap or paper towels. One of the working one the water faucet wouldn't turn off. The floors were sticky were the foods and soda area is. Would not recommend this place on the weekends. Hopefully its alot cleaner and more well served in the week. I would have chose urban air and bounce empire and payed more for a better experience . Bounce empire was very clean and bathroom were kept up. read more

Grandkids love it. 4 out of 5 stars because they charge for senior citizens that need to watch the kids even though it is obvious can't participate. Should consider atheist a discount for seniors or for adults just observing. However, I would not recommend bringing your toddlers at peak hours due to bigger kids taking over the toddler area and running small children over. Children definitely outnumber the workers which is alarming. If you're worried about Covid, don't go. It's impossible to maintain sanitation. Food isn't bad. I've been here twice now. Once with my 10yr old daughter and her friend and a second time with my 4 yr old niece. Both times, the kids had a blast. It's $10 per hour per person. I think the price for the adults just hanging out watching their kids is a little too high, I don't mind paying but think it should be less for adults who aren't using the facilities, perhaps $5 per adult? There are lots of fun things for kids to do to keep them busy, Good sized trampoline park, climbing area, big slides.. Everything a kid could ask for. Brought my kiddos (3 and 5) here on a Sunday afternoon to get the craziness out. Wow. First off, this place is huge!! There's so much to do for all ages, my daughter loved bouncing around on the trampolines and my son loved the climbing areas with the balls. Forewarning... this place is a legit zoo. So. Many. People. The price is right, only $10 a person for what seemed like unlimited time. We stayed for 90 minutes which was plenty long enough. They have lots of food options which actually looked good, we didn't get anything but maybe next time. I didn't try the food but they don't accept outside food or drink but they didn't say anything about us bringing in water which was appreciated. The big downside to Lava island is that it is 10$ for adults and 10$ for kids, even if as an adult, you aren't going to jump. I told them I was just going to sit with my wife in the common area while our son played but we still had to pay ten dollars per adult. So it was 30 + tax which in my opinion is highway robbery and likely why we won't come back. It makes no sense to have us pay to sit there while our child plays. read more

Ok it's wild like every indoor play space for children. Very loud. Crowded. Extremely well taken care of. It's so massive. We drove all the way down there from Todd Creek because I could tell it was more little kid friendly and I was right. The playground space is just as big if not bigger than the trampoline area. My kids all loved it. Honestly the only thing we had an issue with was the vending machines only take cash and we just wanted one drink. They have a restaurant so you could easily get a drink there with a card, it was a minor thing. 5 year old birthday boy just wanted some Gatorade for the car ride. My niece and nephew are obsessed with this place! Having both the trampoline park and jungle gym area is the perfect combination to keep them entertained for hours! As a supervisor i felt like there were plenty of areas for me to watch the kids without having to follow them around or be next to them the whole time. I loved this place. I would have loved to have had a place like this when I grew up. Thankfully, I can still do athletic stuff with the kids and the adults so we all had a blast. I came in one night with a buddy and his two sons, ages 6 and 10. We all had a blast playing in the gymnastics area with the foam pits, ninja obstacle course, trapeze bar and endless trampolines. The facility seems to be operated by late teen early 20 something's which seems good to give them managerial/customer service experience while catering to a mostly younger crowd. All the staff I encountered was very pleasant, friendly and cheerful. Seemed like they had a good spirit of teamwork and camaraderie. The boys really enjoyed themselves and liked this place better than a similar place we went to the day before that had video games as well a and I was able to get some work done and in the cafeteria area AND play in the few hours we were there. If I ever have kids I would take them here all the time or build them something like it. read more

When we took him to the Children's Museum we couldn't get in because we didn't have a reservation. He needed to release all that energy inside him.
