Wonderful setting. I had the salmon soft tacos and they were fantastic. Great place for brunch or to sip a few adult beverages.

I came here with a party of 7 and had a nice dinner overlooking the golf course. They had quite a selection of drinks to choose from. 2 people in my group come to this location often and recommended the fish and chips, others followed suit they all agreed it was very good. I had the iceberg salad that was light and crispy and not too heavy on the dressing. this place gets very busy and its best to call ahead. read more

We chose to try this restaurant because they advertise having an Impossible burger. After being seated, the hostess told us they didn't get the impossible burger in. (It is on the menu). Our waitress, approached and asked if we would like to place an order for drinks, I responded that we weren't sure if we were staying and tried to explain why... as she was walking away and I had to ask her to wait. She wasn't apologetic or even nice. She was rude and it wasn't just to us. She was rude to the other people she was waiting on. Another couple next to us was upset with the service as well. She would walk off while you were speaking to her! We think her name was Melody but we aren't sure as we didn't get much face time with her! With trying to stick to a plant based diet, we check out places ahead of time to see what we can eat besides salad. She informed us they could remove any proteins from dishes, have salad, or they had a veggie burger that isn't on the menu. My husband chose to get the veggie burger. When the bill came, the veggie burger was $4 more than the price of the Impossible burger they had on the menu! It had mushrooms on it. They weren't magic mushrooms! What the heck! You fail to carry what is on the menu and then you want to charge extra for a non comparable substitute! Between the poor rude service and this, we will never go back. NOT WFPB OR VEGAN FRIENDLY! The manager did comp a beer after the complaint of the upcharge but didn't bother to actually come to our table so that we could discuss what all the issues were. read more

We waited for 10 minutes for a seat. The hostess had no idea where to place us and seemed like she was completely oblivious to what her job was. I recently visited the CB & Potts at Collindale and they have gone to a new system of making their customers order at the hostess desk. You are then given number to sit on your table so they know where to bring the food. We ordered water, which we had to get ourselves from a tank sitting on the bar. Then after we sat at the table, we noticed there were dirty water glasses on the table and it had obviously not been wiped down after the previous diners. Perhaps we're supposed to now clean our own table as well? Despite the decline in service, the prices were just as high as when they were actually operating as a real sit down restaurant. Not sure what management is hoping to accomplish with this change, but it's a bust. I have no desire to go back, when this has been a regular spot for my husband and I to have a good burger and a beer, with good service. read more

We were looking for good place to go for a late night happy hour and did a google search which showed that the CB Potts on Horsetooth had a good happy hour starting at 9 pm every day. I even called ahead to check and they said, they do. When we arrived at 9:15 pm the staff looked like they were hoping no-one else would be coming in and they told me they do not have a 9 pm happy hour. We left and went to the place you can count on for late night, Applebees. I have had this type of experience with this CB Potts several time. We have always been happy with experience here. It's casual and reasonable. However on our last visit we were celebrating a birthday with party of 7. The order took a while but one of us still needed their veggie burger. We had to beg and remind and beg some more. it seemed like a major kitchen problem. Manager and waitperson were apologetic and comped part of the check and gave coupons. When it finally came others were long finished and two kids were really ready to leave. We had it boxed and left. I've been coming here for the last 12 years for functions with the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS. Great place for a beer, and I do like that is is a micro brewery where I can still order a Bud Light if I don't want their heavy beer. Food is decent, and the service is always good. Close to my office so that makes it a place we frequent! read more

Stopped in for a late lunch because it was right there & I was starving. I sat at the bar for faster service as it was nearing Happy Hour. The bartender was great! Super friendly & helpful...but the food. :( I waited 10 minutes to save $ on the happy hour menu & ordered the burger. I couldn't even taste the burger because it was so smashed & tiny. It must only weigh a 1/32 of a pound. It was literally like eating a bread, lettuce & cheese sandwich with Thousand Island dressing on it. Gross! Granted, it's pretty cheap ($5), but you get a better burger for the price at Goodtimes, Freddy's, or Culver's. Definitely won't go back. read more

Worst service ever! We played on the women's league, went and sat at a table on the patio. We have done yhis many times. We were reprimanded by the hostess for not going inside to check in with the hostess. Maybe they need signs at all the access points telling people to do that if that's what they are expecting people to do. After ordering a drink and water, it took 30 minutes to get the drink but no water. Took almost an hour to get food and had to finally go inside to get another drink and the water I had ordered an hour esrlier. BTW there was no one inside and 4 waitresses for the patios. Will be playing Southridge from now on and going to McKenzie's after for a drink. read more

Most people in Fort Collins have been to the Elizabeth CB & Potts location. That place has good food, good service and lots of character. This golf course version has none of that. The nachos were no good and it took over 20 minutes to get the check and run the card. The staff has funny nicknames on their name tags but they lack personalities to go with them. If you just finished golfing and want some generic food at the bar, go for it. Otherwise, drive the extra 3 miles to the real Potts location. read more

Visiting from out of town. Came here for dinner after visiting with family in Ft Collins. My wife appreciated the gluten free menu and raved about the gluten free Ruben sandwich. My son loves the butt face bacon cheese burger. Food was excellent and he service was as well. read more

There used to be a CB & Potts in Cheyenne and I never remember it being great. I at at this location after golf one day and it was fantastic. The waitress/bartender was friendly and the service was great. I got the salmon taco's and I was impressed! I was not expecting them to be as good as they were, the fish was fresh, salsa had good spice, all around great dish. read more

This is a follow up review. I wrote a review about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I received a response from a restaurant manager. I attempted to respond, but for some reason I was blocked from doing so. After reading some other reviews, I must agree with many of them. When my daugther attended CSU 25 years ago, we pretty much lived at CB & Potts on Elizabeth. We just loved it. So when I heard that they had a restaurant at Collindale, I was pretty excited. To affirm my first review, It was the biggest dining disappointment that I can remember. We have been going to Potts for 25 years. We always look forward to the super nachos. This time they were disappointing at best. The cheese was non-existent. There were way too many beans. The chicken was not good either. It had an unusual texture and flavor. It seems like they changed the recipe. I got that go back to the old one. read more

I'll stick to the other locations. This one has recurring kitchen issues. The food here is slow to arrive and is very poorly prepared. The last few times I've been here we've been served soggy bread, bacterial smelling turkey, more than one raw hamburger, shoe leather waffle fries and brown lettuce. The hefeweizen beer had a funk like it had been improperly stored. Oh, and the frozen cupcake desserts taste like dirty freezer. We had our annual Christmas White Elephant Gift Exchange party at the Collindale location last night. We had 30 in attendance and it was a blast! Much in part to the exceptional work done by the CB & Potts staff from the Manager (Bryan), to the Servers (Josey and Gene) our experience was fantastic. They were more than willing to re-configure the room to our liking, and constantly provided service with a smile. In addition, the food and drinks were fantastic. Thanks to the Cook too! I really hate to give this even one star. Terrible burgers...was there meat on that bun? Oh yeah, lukewarm and thin. Fries were cold. They did replace them but they were hard, tasted a few days old and no flavor. Only reason for the one star is our waitress was very pleasant and apologetic. Won't be going back - ever. read more

Okay, walking in, this place looked great. Here's my experience: A lady brought her dog in (not service dog) and the little stinker (yes, it stunk) took a deuce in one of the booths (aren't there county health regulations?) The nice waitress cleaned it up. I saw her walk into the kitchen after she was done cleaning and then she served me my food. Needless to say, I found the whole dog thing was disgusting and I left without eating so I can't rate the food. I did have one of their microbrews prior to said events and it was lousy. read more
