Much better coffee available around town. Espresso martini: 5/5 very dark. Great place to work with colleagues or alone. People seem to like to meet up here and talk vs work though. The electrical outlets are SPARSE. More about community than an extended office.

The bar almost resembles something you might find in a small European hotel, which may suggest they are aiming for a slightly upscale tone, though it never feels pretentious. The seating is varied, with small tables and retro chairs that seem intentionally chosen rather than bought in bulk. The spacing is better than most coffee shops, which makes it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The back area opens up even more, and the soft drapery adds a touch of personality that appears to hint at events or just a bit of flair. The staff continues to be the standout for me. Everyone I spoke with was kind in a way that felt natural, and they knew the menu well enough to help me navigate dairy free options. I usually order the avocado toast on focaccia because it is consistently fresh. The bread looks oversized at first but is airy and soft, and the avocado and radish topping feels simple in the best way. The matcha made with water has also become a go to since it tastes smooth and well-bodied without that chalky, thin finish some places have. My partner and I visited during their Dia de Los Muertos weekend and tried a few themed items. Everything was good, and they were quick to suggest dairy free choices. Prices seem fair, even with the general bump everywhere lately. The only thing I wish they had more of is outlets. It is still a nice place to work for a couple of hours, but coming with a charged laptop helps. The overall vibe is calm with just enough energy to keep the space from feeling sleepy. It works well for coffee dates, casual catch ups, or solo work, especially for anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere without too much chaos.

They are working hard to revamp the original concept and make delicious food from scratch. The double burger with side of tots or fries ($16) or +$3 to upgrade the side to the best hand-battered onion rings is a great value. Make sure to ask for Burger Sauce instead of the usual ketchup and mustard. This is a craveable burger. I love the decor and vibe of this place, with some cool but eclectic memorabilia and license plates from all the states. The dining room is a good size with big and small group seating options. Service is friendly and attentive. It is a sit-yourself situation. The tables and seats are clean (not sticky) and the bathrooms are also nicely clean and well-kept. This place has a lot going for it. I learned that they are having a grand reopening on Sunday June 14, 2026 with an all day happy hour and debuting some new made-from-scratch menu items! Welcome to the neighborhood Huckabuk's!!!!

We also came in a Wednesday because there was a sign that advertised kids eat free. Apparently under the new management, that is no longer their policy. We weren't told that until we got the bill and felt very disappointed and mislead. We talked to the server about it, and they did absolutely nothing to help or fix it. Between that and the wait time, we will not be going back.

It was my group's first time going and they did a great job explaining how everything works. It's a very casual, chill vibe inside. The food I had here was great! I got the Rhine pork Sammy with the poutine eclairs and they were very tasty! Would definitely come back here

There's also guest wi-fi if needed. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They have a meal deal with your choice of 1, 2, or 3 Sammies, a side, and a drink starting at $10.75. The sliders/sammies are a good portion size and there's so many options to choose from including gluten free and vegetarian options. We had 6 people in our group for lunch on a Friday. It started picking up as we arrived, but there was still plenty of seating and we got our food pretty quickly. I ordered the meal deal with a chicken banh mi Sammie, a fountain drink, and I ordered the island fries as my side. The island fries are so good! They're covered in cheddar cheese, mozzarella, caramelized onions, and 1000 island dressing. Overall a great experience! I would highly recommend!
