Solid Wednesday night dinner, would go back. Walked in around dinnertime with no reservation and got seated right away, so midweek seems to be the move if you want to skip the wait. Got the Mediterranean bowl with a steak skewer add-on and an Odell IPA. The bowl looked the part (cauliflower, chickpeas, feta, spinach, peppers) but the flavor didn't land the way I hoped. Felt like it needed more punch. The steak skewer was cooked perfectly, but for what they charge as an add-on, you should be getting three skewers instead of one. The key lime cheesecake stole the show. Bright, tart, creamy, and worth saving room for. If you go, order it. Service was attentive without hovering. The space is open and well-lit with cool abstract art on the walls, and the noise level stays low enough to hold a real conversation, which is rare for a place this size. Two patios out front for when the weather cooperates. Come for the dessert and the easy vibe. Skip the Mediterranean bowl, try one of the pizzas or the ribeye next time. read more

Came in for a late lunch this week with my best friend and her mom. We were greeted quickly and were asked if we wanted a table or booth (booth it was!). We ordered some drinks and Brussel spouts. For our entrees I ordered the bacon cheese burger with garlic all and fries, and my bestie and mom shared a blt sandwich with fries and a beet salad. Went to the 415 Restaurant yesterday for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly, prompt, and helpful. Started out with the Mac N Cheese topped with bacon, Delicious! I had the Scottish Salmon, and my son had the Chef's Chicken Special. Both dishes were better than expected. Topped it off with the chocolate raspberry tarts for dessert! Three stars for the wait time. We came in on Mother's Day, 45 minutes after opening. Only four tables of people and we waited 15 minutes to order drinks. Once things got moving, it improved, but the service was slow the entire meal. Five star for the food. It was delicious! Five in our party and we shared mac & cheese and brussel sprouts for appetizers. Both were awesome! All of our entrees were tasty too! Didn't love the decor and the chairs were uncomfortable. Tonight we tried what may be one of my favorite restaurants now in Fort Collins. I have seen great reviews on it and and some of the vegetarian options caught our eye and what a surprise. This was our first visit here ... I was impressed when I called in to place my order and the 415 staff member was extremely helpful answering any questions. My order was placed and happy that it would be ready in 25 minutes. So let me highlight what we tried tonight and our experience . I'm starting with my top picks which I ate: The woodland pizza- This pizza was seriously out of this world! The blend of figs, mushrooms, balsamic and perfect crust was honestly mind blowing (btw I'm from Chicago and pizza and chi town make me a picky pizza pep :). ) Roasted Beet Salad- a really nice salad and loved the crunch of the chickpeas together with the fried goat cheese - I got the half sized salad and it was a healthy portion but so good I ate it all. Excellent salad and very fresh. The beets were just right. Cane & Flower - this cocktail togo was amazing... I am a big ginger fan and really enjoyed little sweet ... touch of citrus blend w the kick of the ginger. Yum! The rest of our crew enjoyed the crispy polenta, Brussel sprouts, margarita pizza, grilled tofu. We also tried the Mac & Cheese but this was not as big of a hit. It seemed decent but a little blah to me. So 415 is a must. So many good options, healthy and tasty. I opted for the Chicken and Waffles house specialty which was divine! From their menu: "House-made fried chicken, and orange-infused waffles with a 100% real bacon-thyme maple syrup" Umm need I saw more. I was celebrating my birthday for lunch and the server treated me to a free chocolate cupcake which I enjoyed later along with my leftovers because I was stuffed from lunch. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nicer, reasonably priced lunch spot. Opt to sit out back on one of the few tables in their outdoor patio with the sounds of a waterfall rock wall. What a great introduction to Fort Collins! The staff was friendly and outgoing, the food was great (casual/comfort dining) and the feel of the restaurant was fun. I had the Chicken and Waffles, and the waffle was excellent; a little crispy on the outside, and flaky on the inside. The chicken was crunchy but tender; and unlike most places that do fried chicken, this was nicely moist. I ordered the small portion, and it was more than enough. My son ordered a burger, and it was cooked to a perfect medium. I am not totally acclimated to Colorado prices, but the prices seemed totally appropriate for the food. read more

Another huge disappointment. Maybe I had too high of expectations going into this. The server was very aloof and disinterested. The highlight of the meal was the grilled vegetables. They were very tasty. The brussel sprouts were just ok. We ordered a gluten free pizza because my wife has to eat that way. After 30 minutes we got a non gluten free pizza, took another 30 minutes to get the pizza right. We added chorizo to a margarita pizza, very bland chorizo. Very bland sauce and close to the worst gluten free crust I've had. Definitely do not recommend this place. We were so disappointed and still hunger we had to go to Waffle Lab to finish our night on a high not and it was totally worth it. read more

Clearly a nearby couple who high fived 9 times during the course of their meal enjoyed their experience, however, as me lady put it, if we were in the game "Diner Dash", we would have left this establishment soon after we arrived - no TV but this place had the entertainment!! As we waited for our drinks and food we sat just south east of the bar where a bartender Cleary overwhelmed struggled to make their strong mix drinks - her panic spreading to other employee as she directed them to stop bribing her cocktail orders so she could have a minute to gather her thoughts, now note these are not complex drinks there must be a rule or law or something that only allowed her to be mixing the beverages - her vibe transposed onto her employees/coworkers brought the entire vibe of the restaurant down. But this is a local business and everyone has a bad day and honestly it was super entertaining and I would go back just because local gotta eat what you gotta eat... Now onto the food - these pizzas rang in at $12 and $19 and neither met the mark of their price. The Just pizza was just that ... just a pizza with a helping of grease. The first slice of the woodland pizza almost had me giving this experience a bonus star but after that since the flavor became overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time at a price point of $19 every bite should be astounding and this one after 10 bites (what I estimate on slice worth of bites would be) this pizza missed the mark. The max and cheese was good. I think we need to get used to the run down 2005 college town scene the prices match don't match the atmosphere. Final verdict - will probably return cause it was a nice 2 hour entertaining dinner with mediocre food. read more

My partner and I are big fans of Restaurant 415 and we recently went back for the Great Plates of Downtown deal, a 3-course meal to share. We were very pleased with our experience. Our server was incredibly attentive and professional. We were seated shortly after arriving, and our table had been recently sanitized. Our water glasses never went dry and our food came out hastily. As part of the Great Plates deal, we shared caprese salad skewers, blackened cauliflower, and a sugar cookie sandwich. All of the courses were really well balanced, flavorful, and prepared artfully. Their cocktails were a bit sweet for my liking, even at my request that they go light on the sugar in preparing my second one. However, they use high-quality cocktail ingredients and have a nice selection of popular drinks to choose from. We will definitely be back! read more

Outstanding "new American" cuisine. It's not really classifiable like that. This is a chef's personal recipes that are more of say, a "fusion" cuisine. And the best part for allergistas is we know the menu is pretty safe for celiacs. :) These are recipes you'd never think of - I had a quinoa and bbq chicken bowl. With avocado. And a bed of spinach, and, sautéed sweet potatoes and bell peppers, done crispy. And homemade New Orleans rem sauce. It was a party for your tongue. Nice restaurant and bar. Food is scratch made and locally sourced. Drinks are very good and never overly sweet. We had the wagu burger and BLT. Both were very good. It can get loud in there, and it's hard to hear the music. The one negative is that the bar area is a little different. The main bartop is not customer accessible as it is set up for putting silverware and napkins together and other stock items for the tables. The other bartop sits right behind the hostess stand, which is right inside the door. If it's cold outside, that's definitely not the place to sit. This negative is easily remedied by sitting elsewhere, though. We'll be back. read more
