I just moved to Loveland. I do love this place. I have to tell you a secret however. I have a 11.5 year old Westie dog. We both are co-dependent and I thinks she is worse than I am. Why? I don't pee on the carpet if she is away from me. Going out to eat can be a challenge, I'm picky I want a nice meal, you know good food. I often need to bring her with me to avoid total home destruction. So when I found CJ's Patio grill I was delighted. The place is clean, friendly and they love dogs. The food was great. They have shaded out door dining. They even gave Ms Diva dog a water bowl and offered her a biscuit. I will be back and maybe my dog will accept the biscuit next time. First, the day we went to CJ's, the service was not good. We had to wait for someone to get us drinks. We had to wait for someone to get the order, and we waited a really long time for our food. I have eaten at CJ's before, and I always enjoy the roast beef and mashed potatoes. So, when the waiter finally came with the order, I was very disappointed. The roast beef was so tough that I could not eat it. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good. I told him about it, and he was able to get me 50% off my order. My husband and I wanted to check this out as we saw it renovated on Bar Rescue. I honestly thought they would play that up more in the restaurant but they did not. My husband got what was possibly the worst dirty vodka martini I have ever tasted and a decent burger. I had a sandwich and a super sweet margarita. The drinks were weak and not good at all. Not only were our beef nachos and chicken nachos quite delicious, the service was friendly and good. The restaurant itself has a good vibe and seems to be well maintained. There are plenty of TVs and it looks like a fun place to watch a game, too. It's really unflavorful. Burger and fries are bland. Soup is bland. Chicken sandwich is dry. Reminds me of an overpriced Denny's. Too expensive for the quality, portion, and lack of creativity. I guess it's a wonderful place for toddlers or dentures, because idk what adult would honestly say this livens up their taste buds? The staff all seemed friendly tho. At least there's that going for them! CJs has a convenient location, but it has been a complete disappointment the multiple times I've tried. I must warn others to stay away. The food was pretty good but this is the first time we tried it. The patio is great. Not an awesome view but plenty of tables as it's in more of a strip mall area. We shared the mushroom linguine - good and savory. Split a dinner salad and the big huge rolls they brought out were yummy! They offer drinks- my hubby had a Breckinridge Brewery Peach Palisade beer. We would have tried their mini cobbler but were too full. The service was really awesome as well. The building has a nice but low key vibe. I plan on returning. read more

Great service!!! Sat on the patio and greeted and took our drink orders right away. Since it was Sunday brunch time had to try the Bloody Marys. Soo gladwe did. Spicy but not too hot. Just right. Then the Green chili covered burrito that my husband had was spicy good and the beef inside was seasoned. Like my husband says most places just use greyed meat but this was browned and seasoned. I had the signature BLT with a little cream cheese and a layer of pecans. Nice combo with the tomato, lettuce and bacon. Wish we had discovered this place sooner!!! read more

We went in on a Friday around 2:30, the wait staff was very nice and seated us immediately. I just wasn't a fan of the menu, I had potato skins and my husband and son had a cheeseburger. The cheeseburgers tasted really bland and pre made. It was also pretty cold and dark in the restarts. However like I said, the staff was very friendly. read more

Anyway, I saw "Fresh Squeezed Lemonade" on the menu and, even tho I was going to get a beer, I never pass up fresh squeezed lemonade. I even sarcastically ordered it verbatim, "Fresh squeezed lemonade, please." But it wasn't. It was either from the soda gun or a Country Time tub. Yuck. I could understand if the menu was old and the server said, "Oh it's not fresh squeezed anymore" I would have been OK with it and ordered something else. One of the worst dining experiences I've had. My wife and I visited CJ's on December 26th after realizing that Asian Grill next door was closed for the holidays. We waited at the front desk for roughly 5 minutes on a slow Monday afternoon to be noticed. When we were finally seated we waited an additional 15 minutes to be asked for our order. I ordered a house salad to start and was given a wilted pile of greens with stale hamburger buns used as croutons. Even the ranch dressing had congealed into an odd lumpy mess on top, no it wasn't blue cheese. Entrees weren't any better. My hamburger was burnt on the outside and rare inside, with more stale hamburger buns and over-salted fries. The cheese was the same dried out cheese from the salad. My wife's turkey stacker was a mix of burnt turkey and greasy cheese. The bread was again very dry and there was nothing else to the sandwich including greens, tomato, or dressing of any kind. While waiting to order I had looked around the restaurant at several empty tables waiting to be bused. The majority had very full plates of barely touched food. I should have taken notice. Wish I had some redeeming comments for this place but it just wasn't up to par by any stretch of imagination. read more

Wow CJ's you've really lost your gumption!! I used to eat here all the time but quit coming after I heard it changed hands. Decided to give it a try tonight and wish I wouldn't have!!! Service was super slow but polite. Food was terrible!!! We ordered spinach artichoke dip and when we got it 15mins after ordering it was completely cold in one end and super hot the other! I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger which obviously was a frozen patty and was not the way I ordered it and not to mention the lettuce they put in it was pre made salad mix shredded carrots and all!!!
