    Cheesesteak ala AKA
    Steven C.

What a surprise (and not the kind of surprise like when you leave for work and see a flat tire). A GOOD surprise. We stumbled on AKA when hitting up the area. Nice outdoor seating with shade. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak. It came with au jus ( a first) and a chimichurri spread. I expressed to the excellent server how unique and delish it was and she said that's what the AKA stands for. Standard fare done a little different. Almost a fusion I would say. Beer and cocktail selection was vast and good. Service was above and beyond. We are new to the area but I found my first regular joint.

Our group came here for brunch, there were 16 of us on a Thursday afternoon last month. Our server including the restaurant manager were graciously managing our tables. All of our orders were accurate and timely considering we took over 3 booth tables. I had the Chimichuri steak with au jus and potato chips it was a great meal and experience. Thank you for taking good care of us! I shall be back.

Found this place on Yelp as a matter of fact. Food is amazing service is the worst. We waited almost 10 mins before anyone even came to our table. We didn't let that discourage us because of the reviews for the food so we stuck it out and I will say it did not disappoint. The food was worth the mediocre service. For our apps we ordered some wings and some fried chips. Those wings are so freaking meaty and the sauce was derrrrrlicious! The fried chips were a huge hit as well especially dipped in their homemade ketchup! For my main meal I got the Ruben... how could I describe how perfect this Ruben was. The perfect amount of meat, crout and the mustard. Some of the best Ruben I have ever dad. So overall I would eat here over and over again

Great food, beer, happy hour menu, and patio atmosphere. Friendly staff as well! I ordered the Happy hour loaded nachos and Rock Coast Citra IPA. One of the best IPAs I've ever had! I think on the regular menu they're called Nacho Average Nachos

Food and drinks were INCREDIBLE, service was so friendly and efficient! Will definitely be back!

    Chimichurri Cheesesteak Sandwich
    Alison M.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through Loveland today. We were greeted with a smile and seated right away. Our waitress greeted us and I asked for waters to start. We had to ask the hostess to find our waitress because she hadn't come back with waters in the 15 minutes we had been sitting there. Not a big deal but foreshadowed what was to come. I ordered the Chimichurri Cheesesteak Sandwich with the sidewinder fries. Both were delicious! The Chimichurri added a nice touch to the sandwich and the fries were seasoned well. We were asked by our waitress if we wanted the house-made ketchup or ranch, we chose the ketchup. Pretty sure she forgot about us again, our fries were almost gone by the time she came back with the ketchup. It was a good thing we didn't wait to eat the fries because the ketchup was a big disappointment. It was very thin and not much flavor, I would try the ranch if I were you. We came at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday so it was not busy. The inside is very nice and not overly loud. We don't stop to eat in Loveland often so this will probably not be on the list of places to come back to because there seems to be a lot of good looking restaurants opening that we would also like to try.

Awesome buns on Philly cheesesteak. Those homemade chips are tasty.

We stopped there for lunch and sat on the patio. Parking was easy right on the street. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I started out with ice tea and it was good. Aunt had three taco Carnitas and said they were very good. Sister had Philly steak and cheese sandwich and loved it. I had the Reuben and it was different and wonderful. Both sister and I had the homemade chips and they are awesome. A great place to have lunch and a great atmosphere. The inside was open and had quite a bit of seating. I'm sure it would be fun for an evening.

She consistently misses the mark on basic customer service. She rarely acknowledges guests, seems far more focused on making drinks than paying attention to the people sitting in front of her, and creates an overall unwelcoming atmosphere. On my most recent visit, I sat waiting for nearly 15 minutes without being acknowledged. It wasn't until I asked for my check because I was ready to leave that she suddenly asked if I was planning to eat. That level of inattentiveness is frustrating and completely avoidable. It's especially disappointing because the location is fantastic, the vibe is great, the food is consistently excellent, and every other bartender and staff member I've interacted with, including the manager, has been amazing. There are some truly great bartenders there who provide attentive, friendly service and make the experience enjoyable. But if I walk in and see her behind the bar, I will not stay. She has completely turned me off from being there when she is working. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the rest of the team and the overall experience deserve better than this one recurring issue. I am giving this review one star simply because of the continued experience with her.

We were greeted by a really nice blonde girl that showed us our seats. She was down to earth and was just beaming with great vibes. Then we got Matt. As if the experience wasn't already great from hanging out with friends, Matt invited us with an amount of aloha that is only found in Hawaii! We ordered chips and onion dip. The ramekin that the onion dip came with was really small compared to the amount of chips we received. It was delicious! Maybe substitute toasted bread next time? I ordered the poke and that was outstanding! It came with a creamy ginger dip that tied things together. For being landlocked and in the mountains, this is a dish I will remember! Matt also brought out a Hong Kong sriacha that definitely elevated everything. The reggae (music), positive vibes, and down to earth feel was a great way to end our trip before getting back to the grind. What a place! Decided to try something new and took my father-in-law there for his birthday. We had reservations for 6:30pm and as we arrived, a large bus full of 50 college hockey players also arrived. It took us over 30 minutes to have somebody take our drink order and another 15 minutes for those drinks to arrive. We were seated with a happy hour menu, which was over and I had to ask the bartender for a drink menu and wine list. My water glass was very dirty and nobody ever came by the table in 90 minutes to refill our water. We were seated right next to the bar too. We were continually informed by our waitress and a barback that things were slow due to the large party in the other room. After 90 minutes passed and we still had not received our food, we asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came to our table, she did not introduce herself, so we had to assume she was the manager. Rather than own the mistake, she proceeded to throw our waitress under the bus. Our waitress was great and doing the best she could, but the restaurant was severely understaffed. They offered us free bread. We finally decided to get up and walk out and leave without being served our food. The manager chased us out the front door to bring our food in to-go boxes and as we were leaving, the entire hockey team was also leaving and getting back on their bus. So in the time we arrived for our reservation and after 90 minutes without being served, they came, ate and left. We were told this was a learning moment for her waitress, however, should be a learning moment for management to staff appropriately or just close the restaurant down to feed 50+ hockey team members. We won't be back!
