Chorizo eggs

Stopped in for brunch last Sunday. I had never been in before, and was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. They have a huge mimosa menu, and tons of options for breakfast or lunch. Service was quick, and our server was super friendly. We had the banana split pancakes, chorizo eggs, and the Tahoe omelette. The atmosphere was nice, and we will definitely be back again!

My friend and I came in here for a late breakfast. The place is much larger than it looks from the outside and bright. We were greeted by the hostess and seated pretty quickly. The server came in good time. She took our drink order and told us about the candied bacon. We ordered that and it was yummy! My friend ordered corn beef hash with over easy eggs. The hash look like it came out of a can. It wasn't crispy at all. The eggs were not over easy. They were well done. She said it was OK. She took a large box home. She got a café latte and enjoyed it very much. I ordered eggs Benedict, with Soft poached eggs. When it came to the table the eggs were barely done. I can't eat whites that aren't cooked. I had to send it back. Server came with a new one pretty quickly. Eggs much better. I liked the ham that was on there, thinly sliced and generous. The eggs were OK the second time. The hollandaise sauce was good and there was plenty of it. The English muffin was kind of under done for me. I like it grilled mostly but a little more crisp. The potatoes were really good and well seasoned. We had excellent service with a very attentive and helpful person. I saw a few other things on the menu that I might like to try so I will definitely give this place another try.

The menu is amazing. There is definitely something for everyone. The service was also great, everyone was so friendly!! The food was good, but average. The potatoes didn't have much flavor but not a huge deal. The drink menu was fun and interesting! I only took off one star because of the ambiance. It was like all the decorations came from Home Goods & it was just very cold looking. With such a fun menu I expected color! Would like to come back to try lunch :)

Just like Lola's house! I had bangsilog (crispy, smoked marinated milkfish, egg, and garlic fried…read morerice) and it was great. This isn't "fast food", but was quite quick considering Filipino food. A little wait, but well worth it for a satisfying brunch. Although I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I'm aware that it's not so custom to have a "runny egg" and rice at each meal for non-Filipino/a/x fam... so if you haven't experienced Filipino cuisine, please take a look at the menu beforehand. The silog (egg) plates seem so simple, rice, egg and an additional "protein of choice", however, they're very filling. Their menu is full of yummy bites and seemingly snack foods and plates; but be ready to feel satiation. You can get lumpia, turon, halo halo, and Japanese style mochi waffles, or even boba to-go. If you thought you liked boba, come try the variety of boba and milk tea add-in list that goes on for miles. Friendly service, small, but clean dining area. Bathrooms were tidy. For funsies and to add to the joy of this little spot, there are a few smaller game cabinets for kiddos or adults alike. When I was leaving with a satisfied (slightly over full) tummy, I felt the need to order additional food or snacks to go - merienda?. It must be the "Lola culture" living in my bones of "bring this food home for later." I smiled and realized I can come back another time... and I look forward to it! Maraming salamat po.

I wanted to like this place because I kept reading all the reviews but this was not good. It sucks…read morebecause this is quite a drive up from Denver. They have such an extensive menu but it's almost like it's too much options so nothing is good. We ordered some pork chop special and that was so dry. It definitely looked and tasted like it had been sitting in the freezer for too long (I'm still shocked they saw it and decided it was still okay to serve us). We were excited for the wings thinking it would be like Jollibee but they were also disappointing. Skip the Korean sauce - it was disgusting. The fries were overcooked. The drinks were generic and surgery. The boba drinks all tasted like powder. Only thing I would order would be the garlic Parmesan wings. Denver has better boba options and wings that are fresh and crunchy. It's not worth the drive. I can how this would be satisfying if you live up this way. The best thing we got were the fried bananas and even they were still just okay (the PF Changs ones taste better for me).

Urban Egg -Johnstown is my go to place for breakfast and brunch (and even lunch) in the area. I…read morewent a few times in short order and enjoyed it so much I kept returning. The food is very fresh and the choices are vast. Something for everyone here so young and old will enjoy their meals here. It does get busy on weekends and holidays but is steady at other times as well. Only open till two, I suggest you go earlier. Good to consider is the 3 Egg breakfast with the bacon and fruit, the pancake flight with the Cinnamon Roll pancake as well as the regular pancake flight, The Cure drink, The ABCLT with salad. Plus the omelets are good as well. The only thing we found that wasn't great on the menu were the hash browns on multiple visits so sub them out if you can. They also don't seat parties together always even when tables open up near the first party so be aware of that. Other than that a great place! You can be seated inside or out. Service is generally very good. Parking is easy right outside. There are restrooms that are clean. There is a bar in the back. So many great things to be eaten here so come hungry!

My daughter and I headed to Urban Egg STARVING. PSA if…read moreusing Maps for directions - it took us through an alley but actually the restaurant faces College Ave. We were warmly greeted by Sam who ended up being our server. We immediately had drink orders taken and recommendations offered. The menu has something for everyone- pancakes, French toast, chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, bennys, omelets, and the there is a healthy choice menu as well as gf items; Non alcoholic as well as alcoholic cocktails, juices, and coffees available. I ordered a cappuccino to start with and it had a TON of froth on top- perfection! My daughter had a juice drink called the Cure- it was a bit heavy in the coconut water for her taste but it was delicious and came with a fresh slice of pineapple. We selected The breakfast sandwich and the blue corn huevos rancheros and we split a side cinnamon roll pancake. Let's talk perfection in a pancake-- this topped anything I've ever tasted- the fluffiest, softest, flavorful pancake. Perfect drizzles of cinnamon sugar covered with frosting. So so good. Lemon ricotta pancakes will be the choice next time. Didn't need syrup but it came warm and, heck yeah! Both our dishes came with hash browns which for our preference could have used a bit more crisp and salt( salt easily remedied). The breakfast sandwich had scrumptious, thick sourdough and generous portions of bacon, with pesto aioli and eggs of choice. Every bite was eaten, even the crusts -(adulting)! The huevos rancheros were tasty- perfect base of crunch but the main attraction was the soft and flavorful scrambled eggs and chorizo topped with Avacado crema. Taste buds satisfied as well as our hunger. Although we came in starving we had food to spare. Sam was attentive and friendly and we lingered in a comfortable setting. Ladies- check out the wishing wall in the restrooms- cute customer forward touch! Prices reasonable for all the food- you won't be sorry checking this place out.
