When I heard about the donut burger at Stuft Burger Bar, I had to try it! The hangover burger came with a sweet and savory combo of patty, fried egg, and bacon on a glazed donut. I added lettuce and jalapeños for an added crunch. If you're not into donut burgers, their regular bacon burger is also really good. The burgers are a bit smaller than I thought. Definitely try the garlic parm fries and seasoned fries! The chocolate milkshake was the perfect way to end the meal. Servers were friendly and efficient! Build your own burger! My friend used to go to school in Fort Collins and so she really wanted to go back to this place when she was in town. You get to create your own burger or try one of their own signature burgers. Parking is street parking or you can try and park in one of the lots in the surrounding areas. We were seated right away and placed our drink orders too. Next was the fun part! My friend taught me all about the build your own burger and how we get to choose our toppings and burger and bread. But I could also have picked a signature burger off the menu. I did a classic cheeseburger with Parmesan garlic fries. I chose a single 1/3 pound beef for the patty, with a brioche bun, with American cheese, and bacon aïoli sauce. I didn't realize the bacon aïoli sauce was gonna be spicy, it had a little kick to it so I had to scrape the rest of it off, but the rest of the burger was great! The fries were nice and crisp and had plenty of Parmesan cheese and garlic. I always hate it when they skimp out on the toppings for the fries. I thought it was a little pricey, and looking at their signature burgers, I definitely could've picked one of those and it would've been cheaper. But that's on me for not looking ahead. Stopped by with a couple friends for a quick bite and some cold beers. First off we sit in the bar at a high top. I'll just say this - the bartender was less than professional. That's saying it nicely. She was not well groomed and didn't represent this place at all - as a matter of fact, I would say that she was on the edge of gross. Every time she came out from behind the bar, she was shoving french fries in her face. She needs to be replaced. The food was good, overpriced but everything seems to be that way today. Service was outstanding from our server. She was very helpful, very attentive and did a good job. The ambience was OK. It wasn't a cleanest restaurant I've ever been in, I promise you that. But they got the job done for burgers and beers. I probably wouldn't go back, but if you don't do anything else, replace the bartender. Attended this locale with some close friends of mine and wife on the lighting ceremony night. For context, this place was pretty busy. The price of this place is just so excessive for the quality. I got the triple threat burger for $20. It was alright. The patties were a bit thin and seemingly unseasoned. The buns were soggy with oil. The cheese was flavorless. I also got the $9 banana milkshake. It was alright but nothing to write home about. It was just an expensive meal for dive bar quality food. The ambience was alright. We sat in the outdoor section and they had some fires which were nice. The inside is all wood and felt like an average bar. The server was nice and was as attentive as she could be given the context. 3/5 Additionally, the portions feel small for what you are paying for. Might be my new favorite burger place! The restaurant was small but comfortable. 5 Stars for the food! They have a great selection of burgers. I ordered the Black and Bleu Burger and it was amazing! Cooked to perfect and bursting with flavor. I haven't had a bleu cheese burger this good in a long time. French fries were also cooked to perfection - so crispy and light! I ordered the garlic parmesan fries and they were pretty tasty flavor-wise but needed more garlic. My husband ordered the Brat Burger (Burger of the month) and said it was really tasty. The kid's burger was good, but could have been cooked more. Service was just okay. Our waitress was attentive at first, but once our food came out, she disappeared. I visited this restaurant for the first time a month ago. We were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. The food was good. They did have beyond burgers avaialble if you are vegan. I got it without any bun, though I think they had gf buns available for extra charge. The music was a little loud in the restaurant and it was hard to hear the other folks that i came in with. Prices are also VERY expensive! I bought myself a beyond burger and my son a burger and paid over $60 and there were no fries or salads...... That being the case I likely wont come back. I have now been to the place 3-4 separate times and every time I go, the same problem occurs: the food is cold, bland, and leaves an incredible hole in my wallet. After a couple minutes of waiting my brother went back and saw a server in the back and asked if they were open (he asked very friendly and nicely as my brother is one of the sweetest people) and the waitress said yes in a huff and when my brother turned back and walked towards the front she rolled her eyes at him. Came here to celebrate my anniversary after driving 45 minutes to Colorado and sat down waited 30 minutes and no one came to ask us for drinks or food or anything but yet the tables around us that came in after us had gotten their appetizers and drinks right away and the servers definitely saw us with nothing on the table so it felt very uncomfortable and weird so we left to get Korean bbq down the street ( way better ) . my family recently had lunch at this restaurant. No complaints about the food. But a heads up when closing out the bill. The staff uses electronic payment handhelds. I had to ask to see the bill. There was an unsolicited up charge that was not asked for nor offered by the employee. The employee set their own tip amount, which was overly generous. I have been wanting to come here to try a burger with a gluten free bun. I came and sat at the bar. It was around dinner time and it was moderately busy at this time. I noticed that the restaurant was a bit disorganized inside and that there was several table tops (including mine which was never wiped off) with messes on them and restaurant items laying all over. The bartender was nice and eventually got me a soda after he made some drinks for another table. I had to order my burger using my own named ingredients because most of the burgers had ingredients with gluten or dairy in them. My burger was a single patty with lettuce, Mayo, ketchup, mustard, red onions, applewood smoked bacon, and pineapple on a gluten free bun. See my attached picture. The ketchup, Mayo, and mustard came on the side, which took a bit longer for me to take my time and spread it on the bun before eating it. The burger tasted great, and I really enjoyed it. The gluten free bun fell apart on the bottom because of the grease from the burger making it wet. I suggest that the buns are toasted a little if you don't want that to happen. I enjoyed my burger with sprite on tap. I was thinking about getting some fries on the side, but stopped myself after I found out that there is no separate fryer. So I just had the burger. What took away from my experience here? The PRICE. I paid $20 for my burger and a sprite on tap, not including the tip. That is shameful! I could of gone to Texas Roadhouse and had a steak, two sides, and a drink for $20. Here you just get a burger and a little soda on tap. Having prices like this will make less customers come back, like me. Imagine what it would cost if I got some fries and desert? I should be able to get a burger, small side of fries, and drink all-together for $16-17. Even with a gluten free bun. My suggestion, is to go to another restaurant to get a burger. They do make a good burger here, but it's a complete rip-off and not worth it to me. read more
