    Undecided Benedict
    Evelyn P.

This place has a really sunny, happy vibe. Maybe it's the decor and the Bob Marley music playing in the background when we walked in. There's plenty of seating available including outdoor seating which was nice. The service was good. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Rated this place a 3 because of the food. We ordered the Undecided Benedict which includes two poached eggs, one with smoked ham and classic hollandaise, and the other egg with house made sausage gravy; Both eggs served on a toasted English muffin with Rise potato (hash browns served like a muffin) The Rise potato was burnt all around the sides and the top so really only the middle part was edible. The Benedicts were mediocre so nothing really stood out about that dish. We also got the Rajas and Eggs which is Rajas (spicy blend of roasted poblanos, redskin potatoes, onions, seasoning), two scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, roasted red pepper coulis, corn tortillas. I had high hopes for the Rajas and Eggs with the mention of spices, veggies, seasonings. Overall, I wouldn't order this dish again. I ended up leaving half of my breakfast because it wasn't appetizing to me. Maybe it's lacking a different texture? Seems like it's all the same with the scrambled eggs, the rajas, and the red pepper coulis.

The avocado toast was delicious and I really enjoyed it. My husband got a burrito and finished the whole thing. Our service was fast and the staff was helpful. The only bummer was I ordered side hash browns and never got them but I got too nervous to ask about it. Otherwise great experience.

Met the owner at the end of our meal and he was a relatable guy, our conversation was easy and light. The food was delicious, portions were large and pricing was on point. Our server was very attentive and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, even though they were busy. We loved our experience this morning at Rise! Btw- the green chile is definitely worth ordering. ‍

Simply one of the best breakfast restaurants. The presentation and plating was as fine as 5 star restaurant in NYC. The staff is cheerful and the restaurant is bright and has a great vibe. Coffees were refilled with out asking, Rise is the place to go!

Fun breakfast, good menu for foodies with lots of fun ingredients. Most everything seems made in-house, from sausage to hot sauces, and there are a ton of savory options. Will be back again!

    The Stack. It is fantastic.

Had an amazing breakfast. The Stack. That thing was money!!! Great green chili and I don't know where they get the eggs but they are tasty. The scones are probably the best I have had. Moist. Servers were great and the place just has a nice vibe.

Chorizo and corn cakes (asked to separate cakes from under the toppings so I could mix it up)

We came here for the gluten-free options and were blown away. There were multiple GF dishes on the menu with very detailed descriptions. I settled on the corn cakes and chorizo. I asked to separate the ingredients and add a side of syrup so I could taste pancakes plus add the ingredients on top bite by bite for both savory and sweet options. The owner/cook was extremely accommodating, and also stressed how the elements went together well. He was right. I was so happy with my dish. My friend got the Lorraine frittata and the herb aioli on top was to die for. She added their house hot sauce and it was the perfect mix of flavor and slight spice. It didn't taste like a chunky can of salsa, it was so flavorful. The service was amazing. Both the owner and the waitress were kind and attentive. I didn't expect such service at a busy brunch place but they all made their rounds and we felt very well taken care of. Inside the diner is bright and clean. It looks like a typical brunch space and would be perfect for a casual girls brunch or day date. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone needing GOOD gluten friendly options, lots of flavor, and a positive environment.

The portions here are generous without sacrificing quality and taste. The food is always flavorful and prepared as ordered. The beignets are served hot and fresh and heavily dusted with powdered sugar. The beignets are a must! My favorite dish to order is the cajun omelette with potatoes. The omelette comes with spicy sausage and diced ham in creole sauce. You have a choice of grits or potatoes. Pro tip: Add their creole seasoning to your meal for an added flavor kick. It also comes with a buttermilk biscuit with their homemade jam. The restaurant is very quaint and has a homey vibe. You'll find Mardi Gras beads and Creole posters/memorabilia throughout the restaurant reminding you of its roots and culture. Of course, I'd love for the space to be a little bigger, but for the most part, it's manageable. The space is small and it does get busy so expect a wait. Service is great also. Everyone is friendly and attentive. We asked for our beignets to be served after our meal and our server remembered. She refiled our coffee consistently and checked on us periodically. Definitely check out Lucile's if you've never tried it. Highly recommend!

I end up leaving about half of my meal or have to force myself to finish. I've really tried to love it since Rainbow always has rave reviews, but it's just not for me. I've visited to try out their vegan/vegetarian options when I'm in the mood to eat something lighter or focus on plant-based meals since they're known for their accommodating menu. I've tried the falafel wrap, the scrambled tofu, and the vegan breakfast burrito. I've also tried their golden milk latte. I love turmeric/golden milk lattes so I was excited to try it here. It was okay, but a little too grainy for my taste. The service is fine, but nothing stands out about it. You arrive, place your order, and they'll deliver to your table or give you a buzzer so you can pick up. The restaurant itself is charming, bright, and clean. It has a really great vibe. The best part is the popular patio area especially on beautiful, sunny days. Rainbow is a good restaurant, just not for me.
