I will say, there's not a lot of parking in the area, or seating in the restaurant. They sell super cute antique items in the restaurant as well. Small place, we got lucky to find an open table when we got there and the second a table would clear it was filled. Food was great, service was even better. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star review was the coffee. I used to think people who put cream and/or sugar in it were insane, in my entire life I have never added either to my coffee until Sunday, the coffee was so burnt tasting I had to add sugar to be able to keep it down. Milliken is in between where my boyfriend and I work. We decided to give the Cracked Egg a fry and we were not disappointed. I loved absolutely everything we got from here. I truly believe you can't go wrong on this menu, everything had great flavor. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other food our waitress suggested. Which was the burger (the one with green chili) and the patty melt. Our waitress was so very nice and made sure we were happy during our meal. They make homemade green chili that is SO good, btw you can get a container of it to go!! Overall, this was such a cute small town vibe restaurant. Such a good find!! read more

This small eatery is in Milliken and invites folks to "scramble on in". It is just a few doors down from the Hair Trigger barbershop. I think, perhaps, people in Milliken have a sense of humor! If you are in west Greeley? This is only a fifteen minute drive. That is especially worthwhile for those who enjoy properly crisp hash browns. read more

Seriously, our order was incomplete and out waitress went vanished. I ordered a side of bacon and got one piece smashed up over the top of my breakfast. I would have voiced my concerns but nobody ever bothered to check back. The table next to me voiced there concerns and they were given 20% off. But when I tracked a different waitress down because ours was missing she just scoffed at me and went to find the check. Coffee was full of grinds and never offered a refill of replacement. Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is lacking in interior decor but that's not why we drive from Windsor most weekends. By far, the BEST breakfast burritos in all of NOCO! 8/5/2017- Can't tell you about the food. We sat down, waitress gave us coffee and that was the end of the service. After 10 min ( place had more empty tables than occupied tables) we opted to leave. I approached the counter to pay for our coffee and was informed , she "was just heading our way". I told her never mind we are done! 3 women standing at the counter and we could not get waited on. This was about 9a.m. This place does not know if it wants to be a thrift store or a restaurant. Lot of "STUFF" laying around for sale. Old paperback books, CD's , clock, pictures and who knows what else. Place smells a bit musty from the old books. Another odd thing, there is one long bench along one wall, that is Not a problem, tables are separated. The problem is the bench is tallish for a bench and the table is a bit on the low side. This diner is a nice homey restaurant to go to. I had the huevos rancheros with corned beef and was pleasantly surprised that it was a big stake of corned beef. The staff was warm and inviting as was the coffee. The only criticism I have is that it was a really cold day and every time the door opened for more people to come inside we got a blast of cold air but everything else was excellent! read more

We found ourselves in Milliken on a Saturday morning with a wait on a family member and nothing to do. I found this place on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. Food was good and we didn't have to wait too long for it to arrive after we ordered. The only complaint was that we asked for hot sauce and syrup for the pancakes and did have to wait quite a while for the waitress to return with those as she was busy helping other customers. Our food got cold while we waited and tried to catch her attention. Other than that complaint, we had a good experience and will probably go back. read more

Not the best breakfast. Bacon was burnt bad enough that it was black. Hash browns were burnt as well. Coffee although fresh, tasted like the pot had not been cleaned in a while.
