Milliken is in between where my boyfriend and I work. We decided to give the Cracked Egg a fry and we were not disappointed. I loved absolutely everything we got from here. I truly believe you can't go wrong on this menu, everything had great flavor. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other food our waitress suggested. Which was the burger (the one with green chili) and the patty melt. Our waitress was so very nice and made sure we were happy during our meal. They make homemade green chili that is SO good, btw you can get a container of it to go!! Overall, this was such a cute small town vibe restaurant. Such a good find!!

This small eatery is in Milliken and invites folks to "scramble on in". It is just a few doors down from the Hair Trigger barbershop. I think, perhaps, people in Milliken have a sense of humor! If you are in west Greeley? This is only a fifteen minute drive. That is especially worthwhile for those who enjoy properly crisp hash browns.

Good breakfast, well cooked eggs and hash browns. The service was friendly and fast. This would be my first choice in eatery's in Milliken.

A small town restaurant. You can probably cook the same food at home, but you'll enjoy the charm of this cozy little spot.

The kids working here are happy and nice, There was a couple who came in made a scene and stormed out, no idea what happened, but the staff and management were supportive of one another and made sure the the rest of the customers were taken care of The ambiance was forced rustic with logs and carved bears, nice try but a little tacky. I miss the art deco 50's diner lunch counter and ginormous cinnamon rolls of the old Johnson's corner The food was good the entrees could have been a little larger and the biscuits a little smaller. I cannot say if I will make the out of the way trip again.

(I'm 50) Caleb is upbeat but not overbearing, incredibly attentive and has an amazing grasp on people skills. I observed as Caleb, took my order and was friendly, & knowledgeable, as I waited on my order (wasn't long) a table of 8 clearly repeat diners asked for Caleb by name, I then watched as he assisted some lovely ladies to a separate section of the restaurant as they requested a "quiet location" he then went to another server to clearly communicate why he placed them there and then offered to give her other clients, Caleb engages in quick friendly conversation and makes people feel welcome. I watched him go on to have conversations with 2 other diners and still got food to the table in a timely fashion. My only regret on this visit is that I don't get to this area enough to enjoy this level of service! If you're anywhere within 200 miles it's worth the drive! If you make it to Johnstown Colorado and the Black Bear Diner and don't have the same experience because you didn't ask for Caleb..that's on you!

Came very highly recommended and with good reason. The first official Johnstown restaurant I visited, plus, I'm totally a coffee and crepe girly. I love the old building, has charm and is staffed by friendly people. I am always greeted by someone right away when I walk in, and they always patiently wait and never make me feel rushed as I peruse the fairly well stocked menu with fun names for different coffees and crepes. I love supporting our new (to us) town, and will say, this is the only shop I've seen with town specific merchandise. (Well, besides Buc-ee's) and have purchased a couple Johnstown mugs and magnets. I'm more of a sweet crepe lover, with Baby One More Time and Breakfast at Tiffany's being my favorite as well a variety of coffees, but the breakfast sandwiches are always a hit, and when my parents visit, my Dad likes trying different savory ones. They recently did a little remodel inside with cozy couches, lamps and books! I love it and am so happy our town has such a cool coffee shop!

This was hands-down the best breakfast we've had in a long time. My husband ordered a skillet, and I had an omelet. The flavors were spot on, everything was seasoned incredibly well, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. Every bite was delicious. We were both very impressed with the food, service, and overall experience. If you're looking for an outstanding breakfast spot, I highly recommend Epic Egg. We can't wait to come back!

My second visit I think I had some kind of Mexican omelet and it was delicious as well. The wait staff is always top notch. On my most recent visit, we once again had excellent service. I don't remember her name by she has tattoos on her ears and is not Hispanic. She's awesome. Now for the two star review. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. I can't believe l didn't send it back. The "steak" wouldn't even qualify as meat, let alone steak. It was mushy like pablum and was made to be eaten with a spoon. It was disgusting. It had some type of flavor, but it wasn't meat. I can't believe they had the nerve to call it "steak". I tried scraping off the 'fried' part but the whole thing had no body to it whatsoever and just fell apart. To be fair, my husband had a traditional bacon and eggs meal and he said it was good. What the heck happened? I know the prices of meat have gone up but again- it was not meat. Don't restaurants usually go to a cheaper cut of real meat? I was so disappointed and grossed out at the same time. I don't know if I can ever go back.
