I'm not 100% sure if this establishment is a cafe, eatery or bar ......maybe just a combination of all three? The decor is a mix of antiques and upcycled furnishings, which is cute, but doesn't exactly allow for great foot traffic flow. Tables sit where they don't fit and the chair's literally look like they are on their last leg. Not a place for comfort nor big groups. The drinks are nothing to write home about either. Selection is VERY limited here so not sure whose palette the focus is on. We came here to watch a three man band that played 70's classic covers (think Van Morrison) as well original music. It wasn't bad but definitely wasn't great.

I was in town visiting a friend and we came in here for breakfast on my last day because I had to try her "favorite breakfast spot," and I can see why it's at the top of her list! This is a quintessential neighborhood breakfast spot where you can tell they really care about their food and experience for customers. Our waitress (sorry I can't remember her name) was an absolute gem and so thoughtful with us having a little one + helpful with food accommodations. The interior was quite busy on a weekend so come early or expect a wait depending on your party size. The food and drinks were TOP TIER - I got an egg scramble and my friend got their pancakes. Next time I'm coming I must try the cinnamon rolls as they looked insane. Their homemade jelly was also 10/10. You absolutely must eat here!!

8/1/25: Short version - wow, was Taste Local awesome! The staff was very friendly; the drinks were wonderfully different; the food was scrumptious; and the decor was chaotic (nothing matched) yet it all worked to provide a small, country home feel. There was some artwork on the walls for sale from local artists. Some of it was stunning, I wish I had more money to buy a piece. Longer version - we were visiting Loveland from Arizona & while searching for a place for breakfast, Taste's menu looked appealing -- and it did not disappoint. Drinks: we started off with the juicy ginger chai & rosemary pear. Loved them! The pear had a more mild flavor but my sister fully enjoyed it, while I loved my ginger chai. The entire time we were there we kept looking at a couple other drinks that sounded just as good ... so we decided to get a couple more to go: sunny day sip & matcha. I didn't think it would be possible but the sunny day sip was even better than the ginger chai. Food: holy cow, I'm still salivating over their food. We ordered the large cinnamon roll, blood orange pistachio crepe, and cherry chocolate waffle. The cinnamon roll? We both actually thought it was more like a streusel. It had an apple flavor with it, with a slightly crunchy top & and airy center; the perfect amount of cinnamon. The crepe? I love crepes. I have eaten a lot of crepes, from many different restaurants. Let me tell you, Taste's pistachio crepe was one of the BEST CREPES EVER. The flavor combination was paired perfectly, the crepe was fluffy, the potatoes were expertly seasoned. The only item on the plate I didn't like was the popper -- but only because it was waaay too hot for me. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her waffle. I had a small bite & agree it was also delicious. Staff: our server was Sammy (Sammie?) and the mixologist was Graham. Both were wonderful: friendly, smiling, helpful, & just all around nice. Sammy never forgot us. Despite being relatively busy, she continually kept returning to our table, asking if we needed anything. Graham was just as friendly & seemed genuinely pleased each time we complimented the drinks. I want to visit Loveland again and I guarantee you, Taste Local will be at the top of my list of places to visit when I return.

I was looking for a tasty brunch spot to go with my friend, who has a number of food allergies. Taste Local seems to accommodate, so we chose this spot. We arrived around 10:15 on a Saturday and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The ambiance was cute and warm, gorgeous zinnias (I think?) on each table. Indoor and outdoor seating in the shade. Service was good. When asked about the gluten free bread option, the server responded, "I haven't had anyone complain about it. It's made locally." Not a glowing review, so my friend went with the North Indian Dosa without the feta sauce (can't have dairy). She said it was good, but pretty dry without the feta sauce. I had the queen croque. Holy flavor, Batman! This thing was large and in charge! Definitely a shareable item. It had 2 slices of sourdough crispy toast, between which was a ham steak cut not too thick, Gruyère, and roasted tomatoes. On top was my over medium egg and hollandaise sauce. Breakfast potatoes and a fruit skewer (or jalapeño popper) on the side, to boot! The flavors and textures were epic! I could only stuff half into my body, so I brought the rest home, which my husband devoured for dinner and said it was delicious still.

Very good breakfast. Sweet potato hash with poached eggs and bacon. Mountain Fog toast - earl grey tea flavored syrup and egg dip. Very surprised with earl grey addition.

4.5 stars. I can't believe this was my first time in Loveland! My partner took me to a family brunch at Taste Local, where I got to experience Chai Pancakes and Crab Cake Benedict. Sooo good! I've never had Chai Pancakes before, and I would drive all the way to Loveland to have them again. Loved the Benedict, as well as the generally wide selection of menu items. Parking is challenging in Loveland. We had to walk a few blocks, and it was chilly that day. Taste Local gets crowded, especially for large groups on the weekends. It was difficult to have 5 adults and 3 kids because it took an hour to gradually get everyone's food. But set your expectations right (or come with a smaller group) and it's a wonderful local experience.

Stopped here for a birthday brunch before heading to the lake. This place is an excellent stop for anyone with a gluten allergy. The menu is easy to navigate and there are plenty of choices. The gluten free bred substitution was delicious and I did not feel like I was missing out or had a less tasty sandwich because of the gluten free bread while eating my cubano. Definitely come in with the expectation that it will take long. The service was great but slow (no fault of the staff! They were BUSY and doing everything in the power to keep up) I'd say this is the perfect brunch spot for anyone with no time restraints wanting a mellow and comfortable spot to grab great food. Will come back! Always wish there were more spots like this in Broomfield

Cottage chic ambience it's kind of old-school southern it's a little smaller, but it's darling on the inside. It's kind of an industrial with a. Kind of reminds you of Nashville, Tennessee in the all parts of it. The service is absolutely amazing. Their food is some of the best food in Loveland hands-down granted it's not that big of a menu but with that comes the best food you could possibly get 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. I had the Cajun Benny when I was here and even after eating at some of the top restaurants in the world, I would 100% choose the Cajun Benny especially the biscuit over any other.

It is good looking place with beautiful people inside!

Food, decor, service - all worth all the hype! What a great place for a brunch - my French toast was what amazing. I certainly encourage you to go for the bottomless Mimiosa's -it is well worth the money when you are in a mood for a Sunday buzz... They might not let me come back- I had 7 mimosas and my Sunday was lovely ...

My second visit I think I had some kind of Mexican omelet and it was delicious as well. The wait staff is always top notch. On my most recent visit, we once again had excellent service. I don't remember her name by she has tattoos on her ears and is not Hispanic. She's awesome. Now for the two star review. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. I can't believe l didn't send it back. The "steak" wouldn't even qualify as meat, let alone steak. It was mushy like pablum and was made to be eaten with a spoon. It was disgusting. It had some type of flavor, but it wasn't meat. I can't believe they had the nerve to call it "steak". I tried scraping off the 'fried' part but the whole thing had no body to it whatsoever and just fell apart. To be fair, my husband had a traditional bacon and eggs meal and he said it was good. What the heck happened? I know the prices of meat have gone up but again- it was not meat. Don't restaurants usually go to a cheaper cut of real meat? I was so disappointed and grossed out at the same time. I don't know if I can ever go back.

The food is very fresh and the choices are vast. Something for everyone here so young and old will enjoy their meals here. It does get busy on weekends and holidays but is steady at other times as well. Only open till two, I suggest you go earlier. Good to consider is the 3 Egg breakfast with the bacon and fruit, the pancake flight with the Cinnamon Roll pancake as well as the regular pancake flight, The Cure drink, The ABCLT with salad. Plus the omelets are good as well. The only thing we found that wasn't great on the menu were the hash browns on multiple visits so sub them out if you can. They also don't seat parties together always even when tables open up near the first party so be aware of that. Other than that a great place! You can be seated inside or out. Service is generally very good. Parking is easy right outside. There are restrooms that are clean. There is a bar in the back. So many great things to be eaten here so come hungry!

We immediately had drink orders taken and recommendations offered. The menu has something for everyone- pancakes, French toast, chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, bennys, omelets, and the there is a healthy choice menu as well as gf items; Non alcoholic as well as alcoholic cocktails, juices, and coffees available. I ordered a cappuccino to start with and it had a TON of froth on top- perfection! My daughter had a juice drink called the Cure- it was a bit heavy in the coconut water for her taste but it was delicious and came with a fresh slice of pineapple. We selected The breakfast sandwich and the blue corn huevos rancheros and we split a side cinnamon roll pancake. Let's talk perfection in a pancake-- this topped anything I've ever tasted- the fluffiest, softest, flavorful pancake. Perfect drizzles of cinnamon sugar covered with frosting. So so good. Lemon ricotta pancakes will be the choice next time. Didn't need syrup but it came warm and, heck yeah! Both our dishes came with hash browns which for our preference could have used a bit more crisp and salt( salt easily remedied). The breakfast sandwich had scrumptious, thick sourdough and generous portions of bacon, with pesto aioli and eggs of choice. Every bite was eaten, even the crusts -(adulting)! The huevos rancheros were tasty- perfect base of crunch but the main attraction was the soft and flavorful scrambled eggs and chorizo topped with Avacado crema. Taste buds satisfied as well as our hunger. Although we came in starving we had food to spare. Sam was attentive and friendly and we lingered in a comfortable setting. Ladies- check out the wishing wall in the restrooms- cute customer forward touch! Prices reasonable for all the food- you won't be sorry checking this place out.
