Oh man...it's been almost 4 hours and I'm still full. Good stuff. We had house-made potato chips, ceviche, chicken pot pie, and french fries with house-made ketchup. Really really really good. Casual sit-down environment with a nice outdoor area and a rollup garage door that makes the indoor/outdoor area seem like one space. Solid service with excellent recommendations. We were down in Loveland for a work meeting and decided to check out A.K.A Kitchen (for the third or fourth time) and try some of the beer from Rock Coast Brewery. I've been here multiple times before and always opted for a brunch option (THE HUEVOS! SO GOOD!), so I decided to try the lunch menu for a change. I was torn between the French Dip and the Monkey Burger. Luckily for me, my boyfriend was going through the same issue, so we ordered one of each with the intention of splitting. I think we got one bite of each others, since we were so pleased with our orders. The Monkey Burger (my choice) was cooked perfectly, and still moist (sorry for using that word), slathered with their mysteriously wonderful A.K.A sauce, tart house-made pickles, beautifully sweet caramelized onions and fresh greens. The fries were crispy and flavorful, paired with the housemade ketchup that has definitely improved each time I've been here. The French Dip also had perfectly caramelized peppers and onions, tender shredded beef and a salty aus jus - a touch too salty for our taste, so we decided to dip it in the chili instead. The bread was divine - soft and pillowy with a nice crisp wrap of baked cheese (I think?), finishing off each bite with a extra burst of flavor. Our server (I feel terrible not having her name) was absolutely fantastic - masked correctly, very friendly and made sure our glasses never got too low before offering another beer. I got the Horsefly Peak Juicy IPA and really enjoyed it! I'll save that review for Rock Coast Brewery, but I love the concept of these two joining up and creating a delicious pairing! read more

We were pleased to find room on the shady patio on a Friday night. Seeing as though we were just visiting Loveland and had our old dog, it was a great option since it was too hot for her in the car. Service was prompt and kind. The food was above average. I had the bbq chicken, which was a bit tough, but overall good. Cocktails were great! CONFUSED. I ordered the poppers burger... I was FLABBERGASTED. It didn't make any sense... biting into that thing was LITERALLY like biting into a warm cloud of juicy goodness that starts fucking MELTING your taste buds before you even bite into it . Their boozy brunch/AYCD mimosas was bomb and, like everything else in the area, very affordable compared to a larger city. They have lots of different juices you can mix with your mimosas. We were down in the area to do some axe throwing with friends. We wanted to go out to dinner and were looking for something near by so we didn't have to try to drive and find parking again. This place came up as an option that had some gluten free and vegetarian options. We did need to get on their waitlist as they had a vry long wait of 40 minutes. Thankfully we were still playing when we called. The service was very friendly and attentive. They filled our water multiple times and checked on us. My husband ordered some kind of pickled appetizer platter. The others in my party also ordered drinks. My husband ordered strogonoff. It was a large portion with some bread. He thought it was very tasty and filling. One our friends ordered the chicken pot pie and it was massive! It was amazing how big it was! He thought it was also very good. I ordered a side salad and a gluten free vegan soup. I can't remember the name. Everything was very tasty and it was fun to check out a different place to eat. They did have quite a few gluten free meat eater options on the menu. Enjoyed our visit and we would probably come back again in the future. read more

The food was just average. The Sprouts were simply cut in half, so they were still tough and not crispy. The Carnitas tacos were sweet and kind of upset my stomach. Old? Idk. My wife's bison burger was very good. Bun was delicious, and she really loved the string fries. The beers were pretty good. All in all, we liked the place, but with all of the options in the area, I doubt we'll be back soon. The service was pretty flakey as well, messed up our bill, blah blah blah. Too trendy to be good? Wandered into AKA Kitchen for a friend's birthday dinner tonight, and it did NOT disappoint. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were shockingly good. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken open-face sandwich, and it was delicious. The real star of the show, though, were their fries. They were the BEST fries I have ever had. Hands down!!! I heard several people in our party say the same thing, as well. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. What more could a customer want??? Service was good. Atmosphere is a little funky inside but the outdoor fire pit and patio are very nice. I ordered Nashville Chicken but what I got was dry burned overcooked chicken fingers on toast with some speared pickles. The pickles were pretty good. But this noble effort was just poorly executed chicken fingers. The spice was all wrong and it was dry. I did't expect Hattie B's or Prince's but I did expect something that remotely resembled Nashville Chicken - this wasn't it, not even close. The menu is very sparse and they are trying to californicate it with avocado and some weird cheese in a basic salad. The homemade ketchup is kinda gross. And, how do you screw up watermelon - add salt, sugar, and cinnamon? Hard to tell what they are trying to be - what comes to mind is a beer joint that serves a small overpriced and poorly executed menu. It must be the beer that keeps people coming back because it isn't the food. I'll pass next time. read more

So delicious! We are moving to Loveland soon and are trying out different places. This place is just off the downtown- or maybe it's still co side red downtown. They have a brunch/lunch menu until 3:00 and dinner menu after that. We went around 1:00pm. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It was 100 degrees when we went, but we were able to wait on a shaded bench and no one was eating outside, lol. They have a smaller menu, but it has variety and everything is made from scratch or locally sourced. They make their ketchup from scratch! The menu rotates fairly regularly, so the cinnamon roll flavor and wild game brat rotates. Entrees are $12-20 ish. They only carry a natural (I assume) cola brand, not Coke. We shared a S'mores cinnamon roll - OMG!!! I had a basic egg breakfast which was nothing to write home about. The bacon was nice though - large, wide, well-cooked slices. I should have asked for sidewinder fries instead of the hash browns. The hash browns were basic Waffle House type - not a fan. But my husband's sidewinder fries were AMAZING. My husband got the wild game brat - rabbit and rattlesnake - and LOVED it! We can't wait to go back! read more

This is a cute spot that has great decor and patio for when it's warm out. They are locally owned which is always nice as well! They are about 2 blocks away from the downtown Loveland strip and there was a lot of parking available. Although cute, the food was less than average sadly. Monkey burger and chicken salad sandwich lacked flavor. The salad dressings were filled with too much vinegar and lacked depth. Although food wasn't on point, the drinks were! The AKA Resturant has a great vibe and the staff were very friendly! Indoor/outdoor seating options (highly recommend outside if weather is decent). The menu has something for everyone with a breakfast/lunch menu and evening menu. Our group had the Chicken Salad Sandwich, Power Grain Bowl, The Monkey Burger (w/ black bean vegan patty), and Chimichurri Cheesesteak. Outstanding selections! The sides were fabulous; Sidewinder Fries w/ homemade ketchup and Jamacian Jerk Flavored Patato Chips! Highly recommend trying the side of fruit salad if they have it - consisted of oranges, bananas, apples in a homemade vanilla sauce - very refreshing! For dessert, we had the Homemade Strawberry Cobbler (added vanilla ice cream) and Peanut Butter Creme Brulee. Flavors are seasonal so ask. The Cobbler is definitely a shared item but you will not be disappointed! The Brulee is the perfect amount but can also be shared! Overall, the dining experience was very pleasurable! I am becoming a regular here. This is some of thebest breakfast I have had in NoCo. Located right in Downtown Loveland, this place is perfect for brunchers coming from anywhere up north. I say brunch and they totally have lunch and dinner but I haven't been back to try those yet. But brunch has impressed me every time. I even took my Mom here for Mother's Day. Their cinnamon roll is a must as a brunch starter. It used to be apple pie and they just switched it to a smore cinnamon roll which sounds crazy but it is crazy. CRAZY GOOD! It will blow your mind with its gooey deliciousness. I also have had the huevos several times. I love it! It has a different spin on the green chili. It is not as thick and more soup like with hominy in it. But it is oh so flavorful and they serve the dish in a cute little skillet. The burritos and burgers are also good here. If you are a sweets person I also recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes. I don;t typically lean towards sweet choices at breakfast, but this is not overly sweet. It is just right and with a side of bacon, would be the perfect sweet and savory combo. I highly recommend this cute little spot. Did I mention they have a brewery inside and you can do beer flights during brunch. They also have a large and inviting patio that is dog friendly. So much to love about this sweet spot. read more

Had friends in town and decided on Sunday brunch. Menu was really nice. Good variety of breakfast and lunch type of items. Typical, fair prices. Some choices were, eggs, skillets, huevos ranchero, biscuits and gravy. Burgers, sandwiches. They also offer "bottomless-ish " mimosas. They limit it to one bottle a person so not truly bottomless but gets you about 4 out of the bottle served with choice of pineapple, cranberry or orange juice. They were tasty! The huevos was very good and we also tried the Corned beef skillet, breakfast burrito and biscuits and gravy. The gravy is not a typical sausage gravy but a little different taste which was good. The biscuits were pretty dry and not quite enough gravy.... a suggestion would to maybe cut the biscuits in half and pour the gravy on top. Would give a bit more sauce and moisten the biscuits. We still liked the flavor though. Reservations highly recommended. Was pretty busy but was nice to see people out and supporting our town. Staff did a great job and food was quick to come out and we all had good food and a great time! read more

AKA is a quiet, brewery, bar, restaurant with a full bar. I had the 007 martini that was so good, I had another. Our waitress was happy for us to split a dinner and it was very good. So good that we went back the next day for brunch, again splitting a entree. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was a little slow to arrive, so if you're interested in a quick dine situation, this may not be the place for you. We rolled into Loveland by cycle on Memorial Day weekend and found our lunch destination closed. We pivoted to A.K.A. As our second choice, and boy am I glad we did! The staff welcomed us with energy and excitement. They all were friendly and jovial with all the customers, including our server Celeste. She suggested a couple of beers and brought us tasters of the beers we didn't order with out order! So attentive and kind. We discovered we loved one of those beers (the Cream poblano ale, though the Kilty as Charged was good as well) and plan to return and have one today or tomorrow! Anyway, we ordered a hefe and split a smoked Turkey sandwich with sidewinder fries. The fries were super crispy and soft on the inside. He sandwich had layers of flavor with apples and Brie. We've been frequent customers for the last two years, and have been super happy with the food & great service. Our most recent visit was disappointing! Our burgers were dry and overcooked! The server attempted to charge us for a beer we never received, then questioned us about it. She made us feel like we were at fault for the wrong charge. We were talking among ourselves about the delicious cheesecakes offered, and she rudely commented we'd be waiting 50 minutes if we wanted a piece of cheesecake.
