Our table locked in on the birria and bison lettuce wrap tacos, and there were no regrets. The best birria tacos anyone had had (we had a few connoisseurs). There were many raves about the sauce in the lettuce wraps as well. Rounding out the top 3 tacos was the carne asada with an absolutely killer tomatillo sauce that I could have put a straw in if I wouldn't be judged. The owners husband was amazing and shared awesome things about how they source the food, how they bring their heritage into the restaurant and recipes. He and his family are all gluten free and he cooks like he wants to eat! This happened to me last time with my Cool Boomer. I mean, I get it, but beer just tastes better from the tap. Both of our beers were fine, but neither blew us away. Only a few other people were in on a Saturday afternoon, which was surprising considering the number of people in the area.
