Great little "hole in the wall" type of restaurant. Been wanting to try this place for a couple months now and finally had the chance. Went in on a Saturday morning around 9:30. It wasn't super busy, yet. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by a gal from across the counter who pointed to a booth for us to sit at. Before we even sat down a waitress was at our table with menus. I had the half serving of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. My boyfriend ordered the French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. Delicious!! The eggs were perfect; not over cooked and not under cooked. The gravy was really good. It didn't taste funky like that epic egg place. It tasted like a good sausage country gravy! The hash browns were perfect as well! I love when some of them are just a little crunchy and this is how they were! Yum! Bacon? Delicious! Perfectly cooked and had a great smoked flavor. My boyfriend said the French toast was great, as well as his eggs and bacon. He also enjoyed my hash browns. When we were leaving, the parking lot was filling up! Definitely will visit again. Oh and the prices were super reasonable! For our two breakfasts, 1 coffee and 1 orange juice the bill was only $28.91, before tip. I had the bacon cheeseburger with the jalapeño tots. The tots were good. Burger was decent but the meat seemed like it came from frozen pre-formed patties, not fresh. The waitresses were ok. Not that attentive or friendly, just sufficient. I think they are probably better with their breakfast food. Next time I'll go for breakfast read more

I stopped there at 11am on a Sunday (packed is an understatement, so I really expected greatness from the food). My aim was to pick up lunch for a friend and I (an hour away) but I wanted a drink and buttered biscuit as their name is why I stopped there. There was a seat open at their bar top, so I sat there and was predominantly ignored. Yes, they're busy, I've worked at a diner in the past so I get it. A young server, with purple hair streaks came over when I was looking at a menu, proffered to me by a gentleman on my right. Not staff. I told the server I would like to order food to go but have something while I was there waiting. I asked for a Sprite, which she poured from the fountain, dropped in front of me and never came back. I was able to flag her down to ask what their popular lunch items were so I could order them to go. She said "how should I know what to recommend, I'm a kid" Snarky and rude to say the least. I would have walked out if they were not the only place in town. Fortunately for me a nice server asked me what I would like and put in the order for the turkey club and hot roast beef sandwich "to go" (recommended to me by the nice gentleman eating at the bar to my right, again, not staff). I got a buttered biscuit to eat while waiting. They come in an order of 2, cut in half and fried on the flat top. Butter? doubtful. One was really good, the other tasted like onions...assume it was cooked on, or next to a spot previously used for ? All of this time patrons continued to stream in and out. Most on a wait list. A tall overweight couple's names were called. The next available table isn't one they wanted, so they asked to wait for the next one. The nasty waitress came back to the bar area to say "they didn't want that table, then laughed 'they wouldn't have fit anyway' ".WOW!!! I assume it was a booth. The other servers said nothing. I mean what is there to say to such a rude "kid"...if I owned the place the only thing I would say is "YOU'RE FIRED". My food arrived, packed to go, and I was provided my ticket by the nicer staff member. I paid the bill, and asked her to break a $50, then I put 75% of what the tab cost in to her hand in cash and I told her that was for her, thanking her for not being rude like her colleague in front of the snarky young server with the purple streaks in her hair. I overtip most of the time having put myself through school as a server, but I believe I was able to send a message. Kindness goes a long way for people that make an effort to be kind. The food was good, but make sure you ask for utensils and napkins if you're taking 'take out' food to a remote location. read more

So fortunate my WAZE offered Butter My Biscuit as a food choice on our way to the Wild Animal Sanctuary. The cafe is cozy, clean with excellent food. The chicken fried chicken egg breakfast was huge and delicious as was the patty melt and Reuben. The service was fast and friendly. What a find! Great food and service under one roof! read more

Food is incredible. At least my burger was! Quaint little place that has been there a while. My only issue was the blond server that never smiled once the whole time I was there. It would've been nice if she had smiled and at least acted like she was happy to be serving me. Other than that, go for the food! P.S. For the record, they weren't busy. We order an omelet to spilt, no potatoes or toast. As any substituation is an extra cost. Both of us took ONE bite. The chili was to hot (half & half) for us even though we had had it before. The waitress removed the omelet. When paying were told the manager insisted we pay for the omelet we didn't eat. Found this to extremely rude and uncalled for. If the name alone doesn't draw you in, you're missing out. We stopped on our way out of Greeley for breakfast and it was so good, that we stopped again on our way back home from a cross-country trip, even detouring a bit just so we could eat here again! On our initial visit, I had the Welders Hashbrowns. Now, for someone who doesn't eat meat, finding a smothered hashbrown option that doesn't have meat in it is unheard of, so I had to order it. This was fantastic! Smothered with cheese, veggies, and your choice of hot sauce, it's a wonder for your mouth. You have three hot sauce choices - hot, mild, or 50-50. I went with 50-50 and was very satisfied. My teen daughter had a French toast plate and her friend had pancakes. Both were extremely satisfied, and her friend said they were the best pancakes she'd ever had. On our second visit, I tried the Eastern Stacker. Loads of veggies and cheese on fried potatoes, topped with eggs, and a biscuit to top it all off - again, a wonderful delight for my taste buds. Even more amazing, the waitress was alone this visit and she was able to manage the floor impressively well. A slight wait for coffee, but given she was alone, she still managed to do it all. She wasn't going to hang around your table chatting about the weather - she was all business, and efficient as ever. If you're ever in the Greeley, CO area, take the trip a few miles east to Kersey and enjoy a meal here. 100% worth it, and reasonably priced as well! read more

Don't let the exterior fool you. I really like the inside. Waitresses are all very kind and attentive. I had the French toast with bacon and scrambled eggs. Excellent. Also shared biscuits and gravy-that too was good. Iced tea - very good. I often order tea and there are huge variables. Their tea is as good as anywhere. Only detractor was the waitress never did bring us our ticket. We had to go lurk by the register. This was mostly due to the place rapidly filling up in a few minutes so I don't begrudge them over it. read more

You better go to Butter My Biscut hungry because you're going to want to try everything. This was our first trip so we ordered a variety and ended up with 3 to go boxes of leftovers. Those biscuits really do deserve to be famous. They are so light with just the right crisp to the outside. The gravy is creamy and seasoned perfectly. Now for the French toast... BEST I've ever had. Imagine being an owner and treating all of your customers like garbage. Every time I go here I get ignored, glared at, and attitude is thrown at me. The food makes me sick to my stomach half the time. I rarely eat here after I saw how unclean it was. Maybe figure out how to treat your customers and staff before owning a business. I would love to give more than 3 stars to this place cause the the atmosphere and the food is exceptional. Very good portions, fair prices, clean and with nice fall decorations. The service in the other hand is TERRIBLE, the two staff members on the floor didn't welcome us in, the one lady told us "pick a table at the back" the only available tables were 6tops so we grabbed one (we were 3) and when we sat down she said "ooh no I will put you on this one" exactly the same seating table!!! Go figure anyway.. then she comes, leaves the menus on the table "what do you wanna drink?" No hi how are you today or at least use proper English.. anyway.. the waitress comes and she asks if we are ready, had couple questions that she didn't know which is ok (not really) but she didn't bother to ask the cook and provide an answer.. that's so unprofessional.. anyway. Both ladies are extremely rude to all the customers around (nothing personal to us) and they don't follow basic customer service rules neither. hopefully they will get new people to work here!
